I received a bottle of this today, I had been looking forward to it having read the fragrance notes and liking Eau de Givenchy 3 in the past. So I removed the lid squirted some on my wrist, first thoughts were that it was nice then the initial top note of peachy ness wore off and I was left with a smell that reminded me of dirty dish water, yuck. So, not my cup of tea and I’m hoping to return it to the seller. I expected better of Givenchy. As LuluCoconut said in her review the name had a lot of potential. What I’m left wondering is
: a, was it genuine and b, why a round bottle with a square top and a few stars?

If L de Lolita Lempicka had an EDT-this would be it! It opens with a crisp and slightly spicy mandarin, complimented by freesia and settles down to a wonderful warm but not cloying vanilla and peony. I’m not sure but I detected some salty note in it as well, just like in L. It made me smile in the end of a tough day. The longevity is medium (3-4 hours). They should have done something better for the bottle to suit this interesting fragrance – the ‘lucky charms’ theme is a prolific in ideas for design.
Update: I have to change my review, because I was wearing L when I tested it. They do have a common orange and vanilla note, but Lucky Charms is in fact quite different. First, it’s a peach-cushioned floral-oriental with an overwhelming lavender ahead. The lavender really screams at first, giving it a sharp, almost masculine aspect for the first 30 min. It becomes sweeter and spicier with time. However this might be an interesting layering combination, just wish that there wasn’t so much lavender in it.Now I don’t like it that much

It’s a nice fragrance. It’s fresh. I like to wear it at weekends. But it doesn’t stay long.
