A very much softer Elizabeth Arden Untold. Soft pear, a little blackberry and vanilla. Spring in a bottle. Just beautiful.

Blind buy, so shame on me. However, when I see “blackberry,” all cautions are thrown to the wind. But all I get, from beginning to a mercifully quick end, is a harsh blast of…Vick’s Vapo Rub! Raw, scorching menthol! Then the teeniest bit of blackberry wafts out and is soon gone, leaving the fierce Vick’s bomb to burn out some minutes later, but linger in a softer decibel range (Vick’s Mild, if you will). I couldn’t get to the sink fast enough to scrub this heinous scent off my wrist. I have a number of Arthes fragrances which I enjoy, but always bought with realistic expectations, given their low cost. But this?! Dreadful. Ghastly. May have put me off Arthes blind buys for good.

I smell blackberry and pepper. It’s not very strong. I love blackberry fragrances so I really wanted this one. It’s just ok. Reminds me of a super diluted scent of peace for her but with black pepper in it. Weird.

Lover Blackberry is really not an expensive perfume. I paid R169 (about US$ 13) for my bottle, which really isn’t too bad. It is a sweet, fruity fragrance. Though I’m not really fond of fruity fragrances, I had to buy this because I had a ‘need’ for a perfume. LOL.
It’s lasted about 3 hours so far, but is really light. If you’re on a budget and have a need for something, you can try this one 🙂

to my nose this is very strong at the start and it also smells like it has patchouli in it. lots of patchouli and musk in the beginning (which neither is listed as notes) and fruits in the background.. as it dries down it gets softer and the blackberry floats to the top and becomes more pronounced. it’s a nice scent, not too long lasting or strong when it’s completely dry. but, kind of darkish and nice for fall.

To me it is very berry! Happy fragrance. But almost no lasting Power.

Remember me something of Angel by Mugler and Wish by Chopard… Not bad, but also chemical maybe. Well it’s a cheap parfum, nice por the price.
