Desperately need this in my life! I was blown away after the first spray. Once it dried down on skin it radiated so beautifully. I’ve seen a couple blah reviews- so if anyone owns this, please feel free to reach out <3

Upon initial spray, I get a burst of fresh cut grass, not too different from CB I Hate Perfume’s “Grass” accord.
Then later, give or take 5 minutes, it devolves into a horrible swampy accord / mess and stays there for the duration. You know how when you were a kid and you played amongst the shore of a lake or pond? And the slimy green algae /pond scum that grew along it? Lovely Day smells just like it.
Longevity is tenacious; it stayed on my skin for three days despite multiple showers and efforts to wash it off.

this is pretty much only rose and licorice on me. the notes all sound lovely and i was looking forward to the combination, but i’m underwhelmed. i’m happy luckyscent included this sample though.

I’m a huge fan of Ramon Monegal’s Kiss My Name, so I was really happy to find a long-forgotten sample of his Lovely Day in my pile o’ samples. In the opening I get lots of jasmine tempered with a sweet, light hint of rose. The berries make an appearance after the first few minutes and dominate an hour before the jasmine reasserts itself.
The drydown is very jasmine-y tinged with teeny bit of sweetness, but the middle section – from 15 minutes after application to an hour – is surprisingly creamy for a jasmine fragrance. The rose is not at all cloying. I love the berry notes among the florals. It’s a very different berry from L’Artisan Musc et Mure, which I wear often – sweeter, more showy.
Doesn’t smell like anything else. Seems to have decent lasting power, and nice sillage. I’m going to try this again to be sure, but it may just be FBW.

Mainly rose, feminine. I don’t see this as a masculine fragrance at all.
Flowery and yet a little fresh. The jasmine is perceptible but not as heady as in most fragrances. The middle part is beautiful, more delicate and different, I guess because of the cassis and cedar.
The dry down is clear, light and clean, like the reviewer pb0330 said, this smells like a dryer sheet, but I don’t mind, I like it anyway.
I’m not crazy about the opening, but the middle and especially the dry down smell exactly like a Lovely Day.

This is probably going to sound odd, but it reminds me of the smell of a doll, almost plasticky , but not quite, it’s a good scent though. Very innocent.

Lovely day ~ blackcurrant, creamy jasmine & rose, its such a rich blend of light & juicy notes. I am picking up the ozonic notes in this too, it startes of fruity, then there is this clean note in the middle, but then it somehow just blends back in the creamy fruity delight. Its like sitting out on the lawn in the midday warm sun eating berries & cream, while freshly laundered linen is on the line drying in the warm breeze. Its not a perfume I would typically go for, though out of the Monegal florals i love this most. I would classify this as a fruity floral, though its unlike anything else I’ve smelled, due to its gourmand… edible notes…combined with clean crisp ozonic ones! Worth a test.

Lovely Day holds much promise. It opens with lovely amazing delicate white florals and then you begin to smell the iris, cassis and wood.
Unfortunately for me, after wearing this scent for a few hours it turned into a killer blackcurrant scent with major sillage on my skin. Not a lovely day any longer for me.

There used to be a store called Garden Botanica, it was like Bath & Body Works, kinda. Anyway, I made a custom fragrance there years ago and this reminds me of it exactly. Now keep in mind, this perfume probably costs about 10 times more than what i paid for that. it smells like clean laundry to me, or a dryer sheet, but there is a hint of something sour or off about this. i just don’t think there is anything “special” about this scent. i’m glad i just got a sample size.

Lovely Day: Notes include extract of Sambac jasmine, rose extract, liquorice extract, iris, cedar, Soft ultrazor and cassis.
Surely the strangest perfume in the line, Lovely Day is a gourmand that juxtaposes liquorice and cassis with a floral phalanx of jasmine and rose. Sprinkled over it like powder sugar is a soft iris note. It is appetizing and off-putting at once. Steadily swaying between lip-smackingly edible and, well – totally not, this leaves me a bit at a loss. It does smell like a bouquet of flowers covered in pink bubble gum.
