I really have tried to like it. It’s not an awful scent, but I think it’s lacking a bit of spice to the sweetnes and flowers it offers; that makes it quite flat and it can be headachy

This is sweet fruity jasmine, but neither the fruit nor the jasmine are in anyway overwhelming. Very well blended and inoffensive, feminine without being too much scent. The fruit comes in first but its like you just bit into it — it’s not artificially sweet or sugary. The jasmine is clean and fresh. A very natural smelling scent, good for casual or day use.

The opening skish is very fruity, like a melon-laced drink you order at a tropical resort. A moment later comes the girl herself – yes, this perfume has an airy pink feminine presence — sweet like flowers on a breeze and sweet like the layer of sugar at the bottom of that drink. I thought the flowers might be honeysuckle, but the notes tell me otherwise. The scent does have that agreeable nature of syrupy fruit, candied but “lite.” It’s young but ageless, playing not to a demographic, but to a mood. It’s a bottle of shimmery early-summer. Total congruence between scent, bottle design and name.

The first spray goes on quite harsh, so don’t sniff immediately. After that settles I get a not exactly original, but very feminine, floral, pleasant and safe scent. The longevity is average, maybe 4-5hrs tops.
I blind-bought it due to it’s low cost as well.
I find it good for work, as it’s not likely to offend anyone. It’s great for situations where you just want to smell ‘nice’ without making an impression. Or just lounging at home.. smelling nice.

I blind bought this based on reviews here and the fantastic price, and the name is fitting – it is very lovely and flowery. One spray is incredibly strong though, I am trying to slowly work out the right amount to wear but the little bit I put on my arm is all I can smell. Sillage is HUGE here, I can smell nothing but flowers no matter which way I turn. Starts out a little harsh but dies down pretty nicely – make sure you apply with some time to spare so you don’t overwhelm everybody! I would put it as more of an evening perfume, but only because it’s too strong for work. For the price, you really can’t go wrong.

Got this as a gift. When I opened it I adored the bottle and expected a lot. I instantly sprayed on wrist. First impressions were not good. Very harsh hairspray like smell with a sticky sickening sweetness. After 10 mins I had a real headache. I was decided against it at this point and went on about my business. Then about an hour later I sniffed my wrist again only to find I loved the smell. The harshness had totally gone and what was left was a flirty, flowery delicious scent. I enjoyed it the rest of the day. So I am a little undecided what to think of it. Its starts out smelling cheap but ends up smelling classy. I am going to give it a few more trys to see if I can overcome the initial overload.

Armand Basi Lovely Blossom feels like paying for the glass bottle and having the juice thrown into it for free.
I got my huge 100ml bottle for a ridiculously low price and free postage, so didn’t hesitate to get my blind date with Lovely Blossom paid for.
This fragrance will surprise you in many ways.
It is uplifting, refershing, crispy, semi sweet, a little fruity, a little flowery, sometimes powdery – it all depends when you wear it.
In winter, I get the crispyness of not yet fully ripen apricot and jasmine.
In summer, I tend to notice plum a bit more and the apricot seems to smell juicy.
The mixture of orange flower and jasmine is probably the bext mix I have ever came accross.
I wish they threw a little bit more of heliotrope in because I absolutely adore the note 🙂
Nevertheless, the dry down will nicely surprise you; it is very comforting and mellow.
I must openly admit that I didn’t expect much in terms of lasting power and sillage, yet again, the juice surprised me; it lasted good 5 hours on me.
And it is only an eau de toilette! Wow!!!
The bottle is nice, simple and innocent.
Lovely Blossom is by far the best value for money.
Perfect fruity floral.

Something has happened. All I get after a whiff of fruits now is jasmine which I don’t fancy at all! I’ve worn Lovely Blossom several times, and I know it hasn’t turned bad, but somehow my skin chemistry has changed or something. I can’t wear it anymore! I will pass it over to my mum, since I know she can wear jasmine fragrances with success. Why, oh why? 🙁 I will give it another chance (and another, and another, lol), but it seems as if it’s not for me anymore.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this fragrance was a massive disappointment for me. I didn’t expect a masterpiece, but I thought this would be a simply nice and easy to wear fruity floral – hard to dislike and a safe choice when you don’t really know what perfume to use today.
Unfortunately, on my skin the fruitiness was rotten. As if that wasn’t enough, it was also artificial and it felt like it was scratching my nose. Nothing nice or lovely. It must be a matter of chemistry but on me, this is just very harsh, cheap and synthetic.
After about 4 hours it dried down to a soft and sweet vanilla (no woodsy notes for me) which is quite common, but still nice.
Although my experience with this fragrance was rather unpleasant, I am still glad that I’ve tried it because it has reminded me how unpredictable perfumes can be. I guess I was just unlucky to have this one turn out so badly on me.

I got a bottle of Lovely Blossom today in a swap with one of the other members on here. I’m very happy with it! It’s a very pretty, light perfume which is great for any occasion. I was a bit surprised that at first it smelled slightly peppery to me but that’s probably the woody notes. I wasn’t sure of it at first because of that but once that died down the perfume became lovely and fresh, a bit more fruity than floral on me and just really lovely. I really like the apricot juiciness of it and that it’s not overly floral, which could be the case given the name of the perfume! The bottle is also very pretty.
UPDATE! Since I first tried it I’ve used lovely Blossom several times and I don’t detect the pepperiness in the beginning now. It’s just really lovely, subtle, a little fruity, a little floral and clean. It lasts for quite a long time on my skin too, even though it is very subtle. It’s become one of my favorite perfumes – I really love it!!

As many said here, LB is not a master piece, but it is still special in its simplicity.
Lovely Blossom is really summery, fresh and young.
On my skin it opens with a really fresh accord of apricot, orange blossom and perhaps rosewood?? The reason why I detect rosewood in the composition is because of the “sweet piss” effect. On my skin when a perfume has plum, rosewood and jasmin the ultimate result is going to be a warm sweet piss effect that I actually…love. This smell that I identify as piss is very sweet, warm, a tiny bit smoky and a little bit acid, the main note is yet the apricot.
After a couple of minutes Lovely Blossom starts to warm up and suddenly the jasmin appears, a really creamy and soft jasmin. In this point Lovely Blossom reminds me a lot of Alien, but without the headache and vomit reaction that Alien gives me.
Lovely Blossom becomes warm, sweet and very very chic. This perfume wears a lot better than other expensive creations and its very very pretty.
For Alien haters that want a summery, creamy jasmin perfume, Lovely Blossom is the perfect choice.
It suits a bikini or a wedding dress and you can wear it at night too.
Update: This perfume has also at least to my nose a litchi accord.

Quite simple at first, but it turns into a light, sweet, lovely and fruity smell when it dries down. Sometimes it’s even sweet to begin with as well. I wasn’t convinced at first (the very first sniff), but I’ve fallen in love with it. My favorite fragrance at the moment:)
