Not for everyone. Very heavy fruit and patchouli. like a beautiful girl that at first fascinates, then is exhausting. It smells quite synthetic and disagreeable with my chemistry, becoming less fresh and more old and musky over time.

More people have voted this as a spring/summer scent but I disagree. I tested this in the summer and it was way too cloying, syrupy, and strong. The patchouli was so permeating it made me nauseous. I hated it! About half a year later and I received a free sample (in winter) so I gave it another shot. Suddenly the fruits weren’t over-ripe, the patchouli was fresh and earthy, the powdery iris was snuggle-y and cozy, and there was enough wood to be cold-weather appropriate. It was wonderful and I fell in love! Now it’s on my ‘want’ list. I’ll use it strictly in the fall/winter though!

I was looking for something nice and light for the summer, but I’m not keen on this – it just smells sort of generic to me. It lasts well though.

I tried this at Sephora, and was so surprised at liking it that I asked for a sample to take home. It’s the combination of lightly sweet/fresh, lightly fruity, and lightly floral that I enjoy. I didn’t smell patchouli in this at all – maybe it only comes out well after drydown? It’s a nice, youthful (20-something) scent.
Editing to add: I gave my sample spritz another go-round tonight. The light floral accent (which reminds me vaguely of the pear note in DKNY Be Delicious) only lasts for the first 10 minutes. Then Love Relentlessly becomes a sophisticated fragrance. It is a mix of powdery and floral, dry yet with a hint of sweetness. This is a mademoiselle who knows what kind of love she is after and will pursue it…relentlessly.

A typical fruity-patchouli. In fact, far too heavy on the patchouli for me (one of my least liked notes). I just sprayed this on a minute ago but I can tell it’s going to be a solid dislike for me. Then it eventually progressed into a slightly bitter grassy smell. It’s described as a fruity floral but as of yet I’m not getting any floral in this at all.

So I’ve worn this a few times since receiving it as a deluxe sample from Sephora. What can I say? Inoffensive. Strong pink pepper followed by personality-less white floral and powder. If you’re wondering what to wear to be “meh”; this would be it. I hate to come off so negative on this scent, as it is truly not bad…it’s just not good either. It has a rather refreshing top note, but settles in a Kool-Aid-like aura…with a hint of powdery musk. I am drawn to scents who know what they are, love them or hate them; this one is the girl at a party trying too hard to be liked. My eye rolling reaction could also stem from my fatigue of “Light!!! Fruity!!! Floral!!! zzzzzzzzz” scents that will forever define mass market scents of this decade. Hit the snooze button and continue sleeping, this one isn’t worth waking up for.

Sampling May 2018. Not impressed. It is nothing special. It is OK as a bedscent (One I wear to bed.) It’s not strong or intrusive. There is a slight comforting quality about it, maybe the powder, the pepper or that combo of wood and vanilla. I will not make a purchase. It is not distinct enough for my taste. However, with that said, if it were gifted to me, I would use it and not get rid of it. I’d also use it to scent my drawers and linens. Wear it to sit by the pool and look cute and smell good. For a more sophisticated fragrance in this vein, I’d wear Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc. Ooooooo.

    Another Samples B Gone review.
I have tested this a couple of times at Ulta and have a sample vial.
Really pretty. Very sweet, but not in a juvenile way at all. I like this a lot but I don’t know that it is one I would run out and buy. If I see it heavily discounted somewhere, you bet I will snap it up though!
It does have an indistinguishable “fruit” note, sweet and juicy but it settles into the floral/patch nicely. The initial spray is a bit heavy, but the heart is gorgeous. I do like my scents strong and sweet, and I love floral/patch combos for the most part. The amber and sandalwood add a nice, soft base, still keeping it really feminine though.
Not a “Love” but a very strong “really like”. This could certainly be signature worthy for lots of ladies, I can see this appealing to many age groups and styles of women.

This is way too sweet and too strong. I can smell a blast of fruity notes when I smelled it on testpaper but it is definitely not that kind of fruity sweet. There is something in it that makes the fruity sweetness thicker, deeper and richer and ends up smelling mature. This is definitely not the perfume for me. If you do like strong sweet scents, maybe you can go and try this.

Too much musk and patchouli for me. It’s also overpowering (to me) so if you like strong perfumes you may enjoy this. I do think this fragrance straddles the young woman / mature woman line. Definitely heavy for a teen, but doesn’t smell like a grandma perfume ether (love my grandma but you know what I mean?)
I like Ralph Lauren Woman better than this if you’re wanting a mature-ish floral in a beautiful bottle.

Mango syrup Sno-cones and patchouli imbued beach blankets.
An over-produced pop song sung by a blonde: synth fruity lyrics with a catchy floral hook and a ubiquitous bass line.
Fun, but forgettable when the sun goes down and the radio station changes.

My best friend wears this and I just can’t stop smelling her. This is addictive, I have never smelled such an amazing fragrance. It smells like mango, with a strong pepper note in the background while still being light and fresh. It’s like having a fruity cocktail next to the ocean. Dreamy !

This smelled so pretty on the paper strip, but on me… This was a Relentless Mess lol. It was so loud. And now that I tried to wash it off the patchouli is even more pronounced!!! Help! That bottle is beautiful though smh.

This fresh, fruity scent definitely has a youthful vibe!! But not in a teenage-sugary way though. I highly recommend you try it on your skin and not just on the test strip. On me, it completely changed once I sampled Love Relentlessly on my wrist. Initially, I got a spicy splash of fruit blended with the pink pepper. The pepper is perfect here, keeping the fruity notes from being too overpowering or sweet. After a few minutes the creamy blend of iris and rose emerges giving the scent a much smoother vibe. The youthful fruit blend still peeks through keeping this Tory Burch scent fresh and youthful–I love that!! Thankfully, on my skin the patchouli is not as prevalent as the sandalwood. Sandalwood is a note in so many of my fav scents, and it blends beautifully here in LR. My best advice is to try it liberally, and wait a moment!! It really changes into a creamy, fruit-based blend that stays fresh through each layer. Personally, I need a little brightness in my scents. And this Tory Burch does remain bright and fresh, but nicely anchored with the amber, patchouli and sandalwood in the base. Overall, a nice floral fruit blend that I will enjoy greatly this summer!!

If I told you this perfume is only “ok”, would you hold that against me?
Blind buy based on online reviews and the Tory Burch promotion video -seriously, how could anyone not buy after watching that lovely video? Long story short, too heavy on the patchouli and pepper. In my mind, I suppose I was expecting a well blended and creamy fragrance. Don’t get me wrong, the fragrance is very nice. Nobody could find this fragrance offensive. It’s just not nice enough that I’ll keep the perfume. I much prefer creamy and well blended perfumes such as Light Blue n Armani Code for women. I’d pass on this perfume.

Lately, I gravitate more toward the earthy notes. This is simultaneously earthy and sweet. Perfect for any age. I love this scent very much, and have not previously been fond for TB’s fragrances. In other words, it stands out.

  22. :

It’s fine, but not for me. I just get a floral patchouli, with too much patchouli for my liking. I can still wear it, and I feel like it is a nice safe fragrance. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with a lot of fragrances since I just don’t find it exciting or memorable. Wore it multiple times before, and couldn’t remember what it smelled like next time I was going to wear it, haha!

    PUNCHY FRUIT
I received this as a gift for my birthday and whilst not to my taste, I took it with me on holiday and did get a compliment or two! I find this one too young and fruity for my liking. I’m more of a floral/musky kind of girl so this was very out of character for me to wear. This definitely reminds me of a Victoria’s Secret body spray and I could imagine teenage girls loving this.

I love this perfume because it smells exactly like my two favorites mixed together. I love the rose and amber scents. It lasts pretty long for me. I’m used to perfumes fading after 2 hours, and this one seems to last half a day. I have to walk around outside quite often for my job and this doesn’t fade at all in the heat. I can imagine this will be a nice winter smell too. I always put my perfume on my wrists, so being able to smell it from that distance for a few hours definitely means it’s durable.the beginning notes are full of patchouli, but I’m OK with that. It’s a very specific scent that a lot of people find overwhelming, but it quickly calms down to roses and then fades away with amber notes and that sandalwood you’ve probably been searching for.

So much sweetness very strong and overpowering no wonder the ranting were low.

  26. :

Not my thing, but not a bad thing in and of itself. It smells like sweet patchouli, white musk, and ‘fruit’ that I can’t particularly identify.
I’ve worn it all day today and it’s got good lasting power and a decent throw, but the smell itself isn’t for me. It reminds me of perfumes that were popular in the 00s, a little less sweet than those generally were but of similar style. It’s very feminine. If someone told me this was a new celebrity fragrance I’d not be surprised, but I’d also think it was a pretty decent one.
It’s got a cute name and it’s completely inoffensive, but I’d not purchase this for myself. It’s a solid “okay” for me.

  27. :

It is a nice perfume, very floral with a hint of white musk. Very “perfumey” and feminine. Pleasant but not something I’d reach for often.

Just received Sephora summer catalog 2017 and in it was a paper scent strip sample of TBLR. I rubbed it all over my pulse points and instantly fell “relentlessly in love” with it. Lol!!! Surprised a paper strip sample can be so potent. My husband commented he could smell it and told me he likes it. Will be purchasing full bottle.

I love the name of this perfume – Love Relentlessy. We should all love truly and without abandon. I think this perfume almost but not quite lives up to its name. It’s a good scent and I would even say it’s very good- but it’s not amazing. I would recommend it as a nice addition to one’s collection and I definitely do not regret purchasing it but it is not a “top 5” for me. I get a lot of sandalwood mixed in with the fruity and floral notes. It has good staying power and is very feminine. Overall I like it 🙂

Love relentlessly is a fun daytime fragrance. I love the Patchouli mixed with what I smell of Mango, Lychee, Citrus and Pear. It also has some Floral and Woody notes but mainly it is a Tropichouli.
I know it has been done before but I find it pretty and playful. It is safe and unoffensive. I have worn it to the beach and out on the boat. I also wear it shopping and to dinner. They can’t keep it on the shelves at most department stores near me. So it has some popularity too. It sort of reminds me of a more tropical Coco Mademoiselle.
Longevity is over five hours. It is strong at first than it is moderate. Very well done. My favorite of the Tory Burch line thus far. 9/10

The only fragrance from Tory Burch that has ever gotten a thumbs up from me was her very first. Everything since then has been derivative of some other mainstream offering.

Love Relentlessly smells similar to Coach Love. Choose Love Relentlessly if you’re deciding between the two, as the cool, powdery iris in LR blends the sharp notes of fruit, pepper and patchouli far better than whatever is going on with Coach Love. All in all, I’m definitely not a fan of either.
If only more clothing brands focused on how the fragrances they release compliment the style of the brand. Agent Provacateur is one of the few that gets it.

Interesting. Sparkling iris, one of the least cloying ones I’ve tried. I get a little pepper and I can detect some sandalwood . . .
Than nothing. Gone in less than an hour. Apparently this one hates me.

    From ellementira
“Notes from the Tory Burch website: Pink Pepper, Pink Grapefruit, Sicilian Lemon, Sparkling Pear, Raspberry, Lychee, Rose Essential, Orris, Jasmine Sambac, Patchouli Heart, Ambertonic, Australian Sandalwood, Vetiver, Cedarwood Heart, Tonka Bean Absolute”
The grapefruit note is definitely there, it was distinct enough to pick out, along with the not listed mango, that ellementira also detected, with it’s slightly green sharp scent. Sicilian lemon is a handful, in my experience, my skin really likes to turn it up, more so than Amalfi.
The cedar doesn’t get a chance to go warp speed on me and send me into a cedar lined closet but stays aromatic, thankfully. The vetiver adds some dry greeness but doesn’t totally subdue the sparkling, almost fermenting, sharp fruit notes. Eau de Raid notes do cross through but don’t dominate for long.
Slight powder and rose help to freshen it a bit but also contrast it in a way that is a bit confusing. The tonka eventually begins to emerge long after the dry down and softens everything, with some floral vanilla and a little more powder, but it’s a wait. This frag loves the cold brisk air though, the chill puts the kibosh on the sharp elements and tames them nicely. A blizzard is coming, I may use the rest of my sample for shoveling in the aftermath 🙂
This is not a fragrance for everyone, not a blind buy best choice. I would not mind wearing it but I don’t love it with the awkward stages. For the price, I need something I really love.

I am surprised how much I like this one. It has a difference to it. Very fruity. Juicy. Peach maybe? I don’t really smell any floral. Doesnt change much on me from the initial spray and that’s great because i like that first spray a lot. Lasts a long time. Bottle is beautiful.

  36. :

Funny how reviews of this vary so widely. I tried it and it smelled delicious and sophisticated on me. My husband got me a bottle for my birthday. On me it smells a littl like My Burberry and a little like Coco Mademoiselle. Sophisticated and in my mind good for wearing to work. The longevity is pretty good; it lasts most of the day. It is somewhat over powering initially though. The other night I gave myself a couple of good sprays, went downwstairs and had my stepson ask what smelled like bug spray!

  37. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t understand all of the bad reviews on this scent. I think it’s absolutely lovely. On me, it works wonders. Such a complex fragrance that most definitely goes through many phases, before it melds into my skin. I love the patchouli in it. I am not one who likes patchouli alone. But in almost all of my perfumes there are notes of patchouli in them. It’s dirty. Dirty in a sexy and “rip my clothes” off type of way. When it is combined with other notes, I feel it really sends the perfumes over the top.
I feel this is a perfume for a woman who knows what she wants and isnt afraid to admit it one bit. It’s sensual and oh so sexy. Perfect for a night out or even everyday. Im not one to limit my scents. If I am in the mood to wear one a certain day, I wear it. I am smelling my wrist as we speak and it makes me smile.

Very nice perfume! A great diversion from the lighter-sweeter-younger floral of the original Tory Burch. That too was a beauty, don’t get me wrong.
Admittedly, Jimmy Choo came to mind maybe 2 hours in to the drydown..
    Very nice!!!

Powdery, flowery, fruity. A rather unique combo. This is nice. Soft, with a nice sillage trail.

Upon first whiff, Tory Burch’s new fragrance, Love Relentlessly, steeps my nose in a predictable progression of notes. A soft, almost sugary opening of berries leads into a bath of roses, without any leaves, stems, or thorny woods, just fragrant buds and lush petals warmed with amber, sprinkled with powder, and then ending in a few hours with a sweet skin scent of patchouli and musk. It’s surprisingly strong and sweet – just teetering on the edge of cloying until the berry note fades in the first hour – but the overall effect is pleasant. The rose manages to shine but it’s not long lasting. And on me, the longevity was very disappointing. Three sprays one morning was too much IMO but it still faded to nothing within a few hours. I re-sprayed that afternoon (two sprays that time, a much safer dose) and it was gone long before I showered for bed. Just a skin scent of sweet musk.
There isn’t much about this begging another smell. It’s an … ok scent, sweet and pleasant. I’ve read the other reviews comparing this to Donna Karan NY but I haven’t smelled that so I have no frame of reference. I’d maybe compare it to a drier, muskier version of Coco Mademoiselle, but without the more juicy fruit notes in the opening, and without much of CM’s depth and longevity.
While on the one hand I admit this is a pretty scent, at the same time it just doesn’t seem to live up to its promise. Love Relentlessly strikes me as a fragrance that has more ambition than substance. In terms of how safe and predictable it is, it seems more meek than relentless. It’s pretty, sure, but it’s pretty forgettable for me, personally.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS FRAGRANCE YESTERDAY,I LIKE IT,IT SMELLS NOTHING LIKE DONNA KARENS LOVE MY NY,I HAVE THAT ONE TOO AND I LOVE IT ,THAT ONE ON ME IS A CREAMIER SCENT ,THIS TORY BURCH IS MORE FUITY FLORAL TYPE SMELL,I CANT PIN POINT THE FRUIT BUT I CAN TOLERATE IT. ITS A VERY SOFT SCENT.I USUALLY DONT LIKE TORY BURCHES PERFUMES BECAUSE THEY ARE STRONG AND TOO FLORAL BUT THIS ONE I LOVED AND THE BOTTLE IS SO PRETTY.

    I knew it….
I just tried Tory Burch Love Relentlessly at Ulta.
I live 100 plus miles from the closest Ulta and the entire drive home, I kept thinking, I have had this… I have this?
Then it hit me, LR in several ways truly resembles Yves Saint Laurent- Champagne or Yvresse.
I now have Love Relentlessly on one wrist and MY beloved vintage Champagne on the other, and on my skin they are sooo similar it is uncanny.
Both are described as Woody, Powdery, Fruity and Sweet.
Both have notes of Iris, Rose, Patch Amber and Vetiver.
When I first sprayed LR,I got Peach and more Peach, yet it is not listed? YSL Champagne-Yvresse is heavy on Peach which is why I love it so.
I know the reviews are not stellar for LR, BUT it just worked for me.
While checking out at Ulta the ladies in line behind me commented they smelled peach, something yummy. They asked me what perfume I was wearing and of course I had just sprayed LR generously on myself 10 minutes prior.
While buying shoes a bit later the sales associate asked if I was wearing peach perfume and inquired about the name of my fragrance.
It is now 8 hours later and this fragrance is still with me.
It may be generic, done before, even safe as the prior comments have stated… but on me, Love Relentlessly performs and works beautifully.
The very first time testing LR, it has already garnered several compliments. It has lasted much longer than many of my other new frags. And I have caught DELICIOUS wafts of it while shopping all day long.
On my skin it smells much like my precious discontinued,YSL vintage Champagne-Yvresse which is now so expensive when you can find a bottle, you need a loan to pay for it.
So Tory Burch, Love Relentlessly, with its much more affordable price point, is a Love for me.
I see a big bottle of this in my very near future. Ohhhh LOL, did mention how pretty the bottle is?

Smells so much like patchouli room spray from Pier one imports take that scent and douse it with some Johnson and Johnson baby powder and you have this perfume. I am an old lady and this is similar to my Grandmother’s linen closet circa 1967 OH BOY!!! I like the patchouli room spray from pier one for my bathroom but I don’t think I could wear it LOL

It opens with an in-your-face blast of fruit. Unfortunately, it’s not a natural fruit salad smell. It’s more chemical, like Skittles or Fruity Pebbles.
Not horrible, but not something I’d wear. There’s an element of “trying too hard” in this one that I find off-putting.

Reviewing a fragrance is such a personal thing. Especially when combined with your body chemistry.
This fragrance disappears on my skin so quickly. I get a hint of oriental notes at first and then becomes powdery. I got the rollerball thinking Id give it a try.
But I am not buying the bottle no.

  48. :

Generic fruitcouli done so many times. However, I do like the iris in this one. I mean it’s nice, but boring. Sweet, fruity, patchouli with rose and iris and a powdery pink pepper. It’s safe and forgettable but it’s also easy to wear when you don’t feel like a challenging fragrance. I find the iris makes it a little more floral than some of its peers in the category and I personally appreciate this.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

This isn’t the most exciting fragrance in my collection but it’s still very pretty.
Upon first spray I immediately thought of Jimmy Choo Blossom. Very fruity and bright. But then it starts to warm a bit and turns into a mild woody floral whereas Blossom turns more fruity sour. LR continues to have a fruity undertone but seems a little bit more elegant with the woods and florals.
I really think this one is easy to wear for just about any occasion and year round. It isn’t offensive so it could be worn in an office/work environment without a problem.
The sillage is moderate and the longevity is about 6 hours on me. The bottle is very pretty and has a really good sprayer (fine mist but a good amount of perfume).

  50. :

    4 out of 5

The best of the Tory Burch line that I’ve smelled, hands down. The powdery-iris/fruity combination smells A LOT like Victoria’s Secret Fearless, which I own, so maybe that’s the one joiedevivreh is thinking of. Love Relentlessly doesn’t get too far over into the Versace Bright Crystal/Clinique Happy/D&G Light Blue territory (the first Tory Burch fragrance was right there in that squad), but it’s still mainstream, safe, not risky, not potentially offensive.

  51. :

    5 out of 5

It’s not terrible, but definitely nothing to run out and buy.
Have you smelled Donna Karan My NY? This one reminds me quite a bit of that one. There is a weird rotten/sweet fruit note in both, and that is why I would not purchase either.. In a weird way, it also reminds me of a very cheap/more fruity Tom Ford Black Orchid (if you tone it down, and add in a ton of fruit).
Anyway, it’s not as offensive as I’m making it seem. It’s probably my favorite of her collection, but something is definitely off (at least as far as my skin chemistry). My husband wrinkled up his nose when he caught a whiff of it in the air.
    Bottle is pretty though..

  52. :

I haven’t been too impressed with this perfume house until this fragrance, which I really like. Primary notes on my skin are amber, pink pepper, and sandalwood with a touch of patchouli, mellowed out with the underlay of fruity and floral notes. Not ground breaking, but still very very nice.
    Longevity is excellent.

  53. :

In the same family as all the other Tory Burch fragrances. This is very obviously a fruity floral, and a very non-memorable one at that (like the rest of TBs thus far). This is very generic and reminds me of other perfumes, although I can’t pinpoint any right now which drives me absolutely crazy, as this is very much “been there, done that” and I KNOW I’ve smelled it before! Perhaps one of the millions Victoria’s Secret or Bath and Body Works have produced.
All that aside, this is not a bad fragrance. In fact, it is probably my favorite from TB yet. For a fruity floral, it has decent projection and longevity. It is pleasant, non-offensive — great for the workplace or a prim and proper young lady who is not trying to display her wild side.
I’d classify this in the same category as fragrances like Versace’s Bright Crystal, MJ Daisy, Burberry Brit Sheer, or D&G L’Imperatrice… Young, fresh scents that have mass appeal.

  54. :

    3 out of 5

I had a hard time reviewing this one!! It comes off at first like a non distinctive scent…At first spray, it has a bit of a gourmand vibe, but then the orris note threw me off, the scent gets a bit of an earthy undertone, with the patchouli in the play..the heart is more a typical powdery floral,, and the base gets sweeter, in a warm way..this is well done, give it time, it tends to go through distinct phases..it is so much more than a fruity floral, it is like a warm floral mostly to my nose..I do detect also the pink pepper…it is a nice scent, but not a love for me..it doesn’t project greatly, longevity is ok..
UPDATE: In the end I just don’t wear it, I don’t feel like it smells great..

Notes from the Tory Burch website: Pink Pepper, Pink Grapefruit, Sicilian Lemon, Sparkling Pear, Raspberry, Lychee, Rose Essential, Orris, Jasmine Sambac, Patchouli Heart, Ambertonic, Australian Sandalwood, Vetiver, Cedarwood Heart, Tonka Bean Absolute
Starts off intensely fruity, vaguely tropical- I thought I smelled mango in there, in addition to raspberry and lychee. I initially thought I wasn’t going to like this fragrance because of the opening, but it develops into a beautiful candied powdery iris. Yum! If you can make it through the opening to this stage it’s worth the wait. It projects strongly. I don’t smell strong rose, jasmine, or cedar, primarily the candied powdery iris that gets a little deeper and drier/woodier throughout the day. Seems more playful/youthful than the other fragrances in the Tory Burch line, and my favorite of their offerings so far.
