Blind bought it based on the Fragrantica reviews. It’s simple, fresh and i think it can be wore in a casually day. I like it but it has nothing special. Being a vanilla fan I am a little bit disappointed i cannot pick the vanilla on it…

First I gotta say I actually like the bottle! It’s cute and quirky. I’m surprised folks are going in on it.
As for the scent… well… It comes across as basic and pared down. More suitable for a young teen. That’s not to say it’s no good. It’s okay. But nothing super special; just a diluted peachy vanilla. But hey, I paid six bucks for it and wasn’t expecting much to begin with!
I do plan on revisiting this scent in the summer months to see how it performs in the heat.

I tried this with a set of mini’s that are very inexpensive, just 13.00 or so for the set. I believe I am anosmic to this. I really can’t smell anything.

I received a tester of this today. Very nice! It is not as strong as I thought it would be. I was pleased that (on me) the ginger note out weighed the peach for sure. I can detect the sandalwood two plus hours later, but the rest of the notes have all but vanished. It stayed close to my skin the first hour but was barely detectable to my son when I held up my forearm and asked him to give me his opinion. (He couldn’t smell anything)…I get the Burberry Brit resemblance, but this is more like a fun VERY light body spray in a super fun, cute and funky bottle.

I’m getting the Burberry Brit resemblance, but, I’m also feeling that Gold Sugar vibe, that somebody mentioned!
It is very nice, warm, a bit spicy, wonderful for winter , or, cool spring days.

This is smooth, lovely vanilla, soft woods, with a snap of ginger- a mellow beauty. Yes it does smell like Burberry Brit EDT as others have mentioned, however this one was a bit sweeter and mellow with a less spicy ginger and less citrus than the Brit, and for me, more wearable. Brit is loud on me and this is soft.
Also, here there is a sweeter orange instead of lime. This is soothing and yummy- a feel-good perfume! Very likeable with medium low longevity.
I have loved all the Jeanne Arthes perfumes I have tried in my mini set. A cozy sweet one for casual wear if you don’t really need it to last.

I’ve got lots of high end perfumes but this one gets the most compliments and it’s not even 7 euros in supermarkets ! The dry down is the same as the dry down of Burberry classic on my skin. I also layered this with Versace Black Crystal and it made VBC less “fruity-sour” on me.

Ok I am not a fan of the name or the colors on this bottle but who cares!!! I love this scent! And the bottle is so satisfying to hold as it sits in the hand so comfortably!
This has a lovely delicious smell and is perfect for Fall!!!

The middle part of this perfume does smell a lot like Brit, but the drydown is 100% Gold Sugar. I like it, but it’s not my favorite. A good buy and worth the small price tag.

I find this blind purchase to be remarkably like a dupe I have of Exotic by Robert Cavalli. At least the one I already had is a gorgeous bottle. This black, rainbow striped bottle is not me. Another fragrance I would compare this to is Alien with added mint.
Update: Has the same spicy vanilla like Black Opium.

As Nelken has described – a spicy cookie version of Burberry Brit, I do agree.
Even more – a peach with a vanilla sauce, sparked with ginger, spritz of juicy orange and topped with a lightly jasmined whipped crème 🙂
Oriental floral, complete with sandalwood – with a gourmand edge – Yes Nelken !
I could almost compare with JS Fancy Love, but this does not have the champagne fizz nor the heavier creamy, indolent jasmine lushness.
I had sampled Burberry Brit, and Burberry Weekend prior before blind buying this, based on the reviews and the ‘version of’ talk.
To me, it is very well blended.
The vanilla, ginger, and sandalwood being the most prominent notes, with citrus ( orange ) and jasmine undertones. The ginger really perks up the fragrance – without the ginger, it would have come off as being somewhat bland.
I can pick up pear with a more calculated sniff, and a bare amount of grapefruit.
It does not have an over the top citrus, and does not have the usual fruity-floral vibe.
A small amount of powder from the musk.
Grown up, without an overly ‘mature’ scent of powder.
I would think that oriental lovers would like this if they would like to try a touch of gourmand, and gourmand lovers – vice versa.
I have not worn all that often, I even listed it as a
“Basic B*tch ” scent in a thread, but now that I have pulled out and sprayed , it is not too basic at all.
It has some power behind it, a nice longevity and a moderate silage .
Comforting, sexy, pleasing. I would wear this during all seasons.
Cuddly enough for autumn, holidays, and winter, can see as being delicious on a summer tanned warm skin – especially on a summer evening.
I must have forgotten why I purchased it, and now will keep on a front burner.
Yes, the bottle is not tell tale at all.
It has a tad of cheapie to it, but now that I am discovering how much I really do love this fragrance, I can learn to love the bottle as well .
It`ll be our secret what it truly holds.
I may never see a Burberry Brit price tag 😉

I, too, can spot the similarities with Burberry Brit ; But while BB is a globally creamy-yummy composition, LGFV is (to my nose)a much drier and spicier one. To sum it up, if BB was a dessert, LGFV could be its spicy cookie version …I actually think it has more character than BB,it evokes a less well behaved, more excentric woman.
It is a real winter warmer and its gourmand-y edge doesn’t make it fall into the overly sweet /confectionary/saccharine rich fragrance category which many consider inappropriate above a certain age. Of course, the bottle shouts “teenagers and young adults only”, but, well,it won’t be the first time a bottle is not in tune with the scent it contains.
First,I get mostly citrus and ginger (a LOT of it), then just the right dose of vanilla and fruit to bring some much needed roundness into this hot mixture.
Sillage can be potent if oversprayed ; longevity on the other hand is not exceptional, but I have issues with that with 90% of fragrances, even (or maybe more) with those from high end brands.
I am presently experiencing with oriental fragrances, which I tend to be wary of, and I must say this one is giving me reasons to keep interested in this genre.

Ok I love it. I tried several Jeanne Arthes perfume at shop. Mostly sweet and girly smell. This one with warm vanilla note, musk and sandalwood. Bit powdery, classic and comforting. Not too sweet, sexy lady smell. Even the bottle looks teenage type, the smell is classy. It doesn’t smell cheap at all. Lasting power it is way better than expected for the price. Much better than Jeanne Jeanne that I have. I will return to the shop for purchase.

Love it.. To me it is a Vanilla Oriental. Other then a short burst of fruit at the opening, it is a heavy warm vanilla, musk and sandalwood.. There may be a touch of floral buried in it but I dont get any grapefruit which is perfect for me.
With decent sillage and lasting power it is way better than expected for the price.. It doesnt smell cheap at all to me. I would definately repurchase.

I purchased a full bottle online off of ebay for cheap blindly after reading the reviews on this website.
At first spray i get a heavy Burst of citrus, Very sharp and spicy Ginger and green notes very fresh and while not being masculine it isnt sweet, demure or very feminen, Kind of reminds me a this french cologne my ex used to wear, just bold Green Heady citrus! HOWEVER after about three minutes after it absorbs and the excess drys, i Got the most mellow sweetness of peach wrapped in watery jasmine! The citrus and ginger persisted but instead of owning the potion or overpowering over notes; they Balanced the other notes, Adding contrast and not allowing the peach and jasmine to much leeway of being powdery or childish, i stress the word “Contrast” as they really brought out the best in each other! about 45 minutes later the scent matured into a sweeter creamier scent. Not cheap or too young but simply sweeter. The vanilla and sandlewood gave the top and middle notes a beautiful base! very creamy and again contrasting.
To me, there is nothing cheap or linear to this fragrance Like julia, I also smell a soft and nutty almond nestled in there giving just a bit of complexity and softness. The musk is also mellow and only adds to this creation but doesnt show it up! In summary Im so glad i purchased this frangrance as the cooler weather is coming and i wanted to buy something different from my normal summertime fruity florals LOL and this nailed it on the head, i havent smelled burberry brit in a few years but from what i remember it wasnt this good!
I work as a nurses assistant and sprayed some on my wrists and chest before work after testing and being sure i could pull of this perfume, although i didnt smell it 2 hours later i held off on spraying it trying to avoid that citrusy smell until after lunch. I bumped into one of my patients (a 92 year old man with dimentia) who seldom notices what time of day it is, but after passing me he remarked about the beautiful smell, i laughed and directed him to smell my wrist and he showed a bright grin and said it was the most beautiful thing he had ever smelled!! My only complaint is the cheap looking packaging and the gaudy name but honestly im not wearing the bottle im wearing the perfume so ill just have to hide this in my underwear drawer lol

Maybe I got a bad bottle, but this stuff has NO lasting power. It doesn’t even have much scent to it. I have to apply it like a body splash, 20+ sprays, and it’s still very weak. I walked right near a friend 10 minutes after I put it on and asked, “Can you smell my perfume?” and she said NO.
Shame, such a cute bottle and a nice scent, but it’s so weak and diluted that it’s not worth it, even at the $9 cost I bought it at.

Ok, must admit, its name is ridiculous… But damn, it’s marvelous. A female friend wears it and with it, she’s so sexy and adorable.
Ladies, if you want a cheap but good sexy/charming/sweet perfume. Go for it ! Low price but high quality ! 😉
