Really a lovely composition, though the top notes dissipate very rapidly. Luckily, the beautiful combination of oakmoss, licorice, woods and amber hang about well. There is something of a “dirty” undercurrent. Faint hints of cumin and petrichor. This scent crosses easily into the unisex category for women who enjoy smoky/woody/spicy scents. It’s comfortably masculine though. The landanum and ylang-ylang don’t read as particularly floral or assertive here. While this is unlikely to ever be a daily go to event for me, I’m enjoying it and the calm balance of it all.
