Since I love sandalwood, ylang, and musk, this is the scent I’ve been waiting for all my life. It reminds me of cherry blossoms, so you have this perfect floral woody musk with a hint of tart cherry underneath. I have Liquid Cashmere Blush and the Liquid Cashmere body lotion, both seem very similar. It’s a perfume that is well blended and makes me feel relaxed and pretty. This is my favorite of the Cashmere line.

Very nice prominent sandalwood scent. I get also noticeable musk and suede. I don’t really smell much of floral notes in this one, to be completely honest.
Safe, soft and clean scent with a bit of an edge.
Thank to that present sandalwood I could picture this leaning to unisex category as well.

Beautiful, soft, feminine and charming fragrance. It is so “chic”. Mine is Liquid Cashmere Blush which I don’t see listed in here. My guess is that it may be similar with this Liquid Cashmere and the Liquid Cashmete Nude.

I love it, for me it’s the best among all DK’s Cashmeres. It’s musky. The benzoin note gives sweetness to the entire composition. The bottle is just gargeous. I am curious to know if it really is similar to Ivoire

I love this fragrance. Its really soft and although I prefer more stronger or bold scents, I can tolerate the softness of this fragrance BUT it doesn’t last long on me. I’ve noticed that with other Donna Karan fragrances such as Cashmere Mist. I will keep it because I really love the way it smells but I probably won’t purchase again because I prefer a scent with longevity.

Got this in the rollerball trio set. I love this one and the DK Liquid Cashmere Black. They both smell gorgeous. Creamy, soft, and sweet. A cozy warm fragrance. I think you could wear this at any time of the year. Sillage is soft. Will have to update as to the longevity. Going on my love list… Happy smelling! 🙂

I got this as an xmas gift last year and I’ve barely worn it. When I got it I was pretty disinterested and didn’t get around to testing it till spring/summer. I actually tried trading it away at one point. Ultimately I am glad I didn’t though.
There aren’t any perfumes I strictly wear for only one season, but it seems I have met my exception. This was unpleasant in the warmer weather, but now that the seasons have changed I find it sophisticated, feminine, and very wearable. I get a powdered vanilla-y, resin-y, peach smell. The top notes are a little harsh to my nose but the dry down is very enjoyable and soft.
I’ll be sure to only wear this in fall/winter, but I am certainly keeping it.

I love smelling this perfume! It’s been a long time since I smelt a fragrance and just thought ‘wow’. I think the benzoin note is partly why I like it so much. It is a great skin scent, very smooth and projects close to the skin. It is warm, clean and comforting and nice to wear after a shower. It’s a bit pricey and also difficult to get hold of in the UK, which is a shame.

I came upon Liquid Cashmere entirely by accident; I’d never heard of it before. I just liked the bottle, which was arcing elegantly, a peachy-pink and silver giraffe, on the sales counter over a few other fragrances I was testing, so I gave it a try as well. I was thrilled with the scent – dryer sheets in a bottle! Powdery, sweet, vaguely floral, clean, and warm. Linear; soft/moderate sillage. I couldn’t stop burying my nose in it!
As I discovered upon a later test, it smells quite different on fabric – on my clothing, it took on a champagney scent, a bit more sour, more like the opening notes of Cashmere Mist with a little booziness to boot. As for LC’s notes – unusually difficult for me to tease out, as it’s wonderfully blended. The sandalwood richness is there, smoothed by apricot-like amber and blown into a powdery cloud by musk. There is clean-laundry sweetness and white floral femininity. I think the suede scent is what became much more prominent on my clothing, while on my skin it completely disappeared.
Liquid Cashmere is a really lovely, unfussy scent, very clean, and elegant and comfortable at the same time. For jhn247, there was a rollerball version at the Macy’s where I tested it – if you’re in the States I’m sure you could buy it from them online.

Very similar to osmanthus from yves rocher, amber is not dominant, maybe a little bit of jasmine, has freshness. But very weak.

I am not a fan of this Line and Brand, but yesterday tested this in Macy’s. Amazingly soft comfy ambere, creamy, classy and sophisticated, not sweet, available longevity.

I was originally going to buy the Cashmere Mist by Donna Karen, as I was drawn to the name. I usually go for warm, woodsy, powdery, and amber notes or clean linen/laundry types. I tested the Cashmere Mist, and found it not as pleasant as I expected. I tried the Liquid Cashmere and really loved it. The only con is that, while other reviews say the longevity is decent, it doesn’t stay that long on me at all. I wish they had a rollerball version or sth as well.

Love it, just now trying it. I really do love powdery sweet scents and this one is no different. I also love fresh laundry types too, this one is kinda both with alittle sultry woody note coming through, don’t know how long it’ll last on me but it starts out strong. Regular cashmere mist ends up more of a sweet baby powder like scent on me, this one has more to it and right now I’m in love.

Dannysmom: Not the same scent as Liquid Nude. I have Liquid Nude, and love it for its cuddly sandalwood/floral/musk.
I recently sniffed the new Liquid Cashmere, and to my senses it is a L’eau version of the Liquid Nude flanker. Does not have the musky body of Liquid Nude.
So if Liquid Nude was too musky or heavy for you, then Liquid Cashmere could suit well.
    Hopefully this helps!

Either I’m anosmic to this, or this fragrance is simply a barely noticeable nondescript musk. I found the opening somewhat generic and strong, but hoped for better development… Was left disappointed, as it melted into nothingness. There are so many wonderful notes listed – where is all of that?

I am enjoying the paper sample that I spread on my arm today, but it’s so faint. Maybe it’s because it’s from paper. I’d like to try it from the bottle to see if it lasts longer. I don’t have high hopes, though. Pretty scent, faint amber and floral. Sits very close to the skin, and I think that’s the point.

Just a blip on the radar. Hardly noticible. Like a peach scented hair conditioner.

I tried the tester at Ulta and after letting the scent rest on my wrist I was excited to have found a new fragrance. So I immediately ordered the Gift set from Macy’s with the large 3.4 oz. Eau de parfum spray bottle, the purse bottle and the lotion.
It could be that my sense of smell is changing, but it was almost unbearable. As soon as it arrived, I applied the lotion and the parfum spray on my left wrist and the spray alone on my right wrist.
It’s hard to understand why it smells so objectionable, at least at first. I see a list of many chemicals on the label used to combine with the fragrance to make it into a usable product.
After about 4 hours the scent is pleasant, but only detectable when my nose is next to my arm.
My sudden dislike of the changing notes in this fragrance are purely my own experience. I don’t know what issues occurred when this fragrance was first out with the name Cashmere Liquid Nude. I have a lot to learn about perfumes.

Amber and sandalwood with a dash of tonka bean for sweetness. Very soft, feminine and warm perfume. Delicate but a bit peppery. Wonderful in the first four hours, then turns to a very strong white pepper and sandalwood perfume (smells similar to a softer Disney Jasmine by Sephora). Not unique in the drydown but sexy to me in the first four hours. Hubby does not care for this one.
    One spray on me:
    Sillage: 6 inches
Longevity: about 4 hours then almost faint afterwards
    Rating: 3/5

Reminds me a lot of See by Chloe. The jasmine, ylang-ylang, musk and sandalwood are all here. However, Liquid Cashmere is more subtle–lily of the valley instead of apple blossom. Pretty, cozy and non-offensive.

Classic fabric softener scent. Kind of reminds me of BBW type of scent if it came fresh from the dryer, super cozy. If you like laundry type scents, you’re gonna LOVE this!

I tried it and bought it on the spot, I like it a lot, it is warm, feminine , softer than the original, not as woodsy either, the base is soft and sweet, delicious!!! It is very floral in the top notes, I detect lily of the valley, it smells refined but the floral notes aren’t sharp, it gets a bit powdery, but not much.. It is sensuous in a refined way, more suited for cool weather, although it isn’t heady so it would be wearable all year round!!
The drydown is so soft and cozy on the skin, I will add longevity is ok.

Is this the same fragrance as Cashmere Liquid Nude? It’s the exact same notes.
