My signature scent is the EdP version of this scent. Has been for 15 years, from the date I discovered it.
I actually like this EdT version just as much as the EdP. They are slightly different, but only slightly. If something, the EdT is somewhat more powdery to me, I think.
The following is copied from my review od the EdP version, since I feel the same way with the EdT:
Leaves me pretty speechless, since I don’t have words for anything this pretty and magical.
To me it’s like someone or something out of this world created this scent and there are no words for this in our “basic everyday world”.
But I’ll try: this scent is cool, it’s windy and icy, it’s honey and cashmere, silk and vanilla with beautiful flowers, which grow in the gardens of heaven (and I’m not religious by any means!).
I think I own around fifteen bottles of this, yet I’m still saving all of them and using other scents which I don’t like as much, scents which are replacable, since this is not. And where I live this is not very easily available, since it’s not sold in stores. You have to acquire this second hand or new at ebay or other web stores (and then there is always the risk of receiving fakes instead of genuine ones).

I finally own this perfume, after buying it from a major sale. It is very creamy in the beginning but develops some powdery notes in the dry down. I mostly detect magnolia, amber and a bit of gardenia but they are well very well blended, creating this unique and original gem. This smells expensive, original and elegant so do give it a try if you want to smell like millions.

As a devotee of the EDP, I decided to try the EDT again, remembering it being a bit sharper and more citric than the EDP. Upon spraying from a new bottle of the EDT, I’m quite surprised to find that the thin, lemony topnotes are quite fleeting, and I’m left with something much sweeter and more “perfumy” than the EDP. In fact this formulation is much sweeter than the EDP and than my memory of it, developing with the same slightly hairsprayish “PERFUME” floral notes, and bright, sweet mandarin and amber that I also get from YSL Cinema, on a bed of fluffy, creamy white chocolate, tonka, and vanilla, and yet without veering in celebu-poptart category. In fact it reminds me of some of the By Killians (I’m sorry, I can’t remember specifically which ones), and is lasting hours with excellent sillage.
I am surprising myself by saying I really like this. It’s quite lighthearted and sunny, and very modern without becoming the sugarchouli bomb you get wafting out of the entrances of department stores everywhere now. It is quite different still from the EDP, which omits the orange and white chocolate, and wears much more powdery with bright lemony notes throughout. I don’t love this as much as the EDP, but it’s very well suited to sunny Southern California days bathed in bright, warm sunshine, and reminds me also of a delicious vanilla orange lotion that I wore in Italy, and so reminds me of a Mediterranian summer day as well.

I have L’Instant edp so I decided to get the edt, also. I really like it. The eau de toilette is not as sweet up front as the eau de parfum. The edp reads as primarily honey, then florals, on me. The edt is: Magnolia (recognizable), amber, citrus, then some very light sweetness. It’s a great addition to the L’Instant family. Possibly a little lighter, less aggressive sillage and projection, although it is far from being a skinscent. The vanilla and amber is gorgeous in the drydown.

This is nice. I cant really say much else. I cant pick out anything unique about it. Good longevity and sillage. Very pretty. I tried Elie Saab Too as im on the hunt for a nice white floral. These are both very pretty but not doing it for me. Just a strong like, no love. I’ll take any suggestions. PM message me if you have any ideas what to try next.

This is so pretty and classy. Goes on soft. It’s very powdery, tart and a little tangy. Something in this reminds me of burberry body edp.

honey + mandarine/lemon + hemp cord note / some kind of wall paint + face cream note (old Nivea?) + Magnolia x soulangeana (saucer magnolia). This is not Magnolia grandiflora (Southern magnolia) which I have sniffed. If you’re searching for southern magnolia try Magnolia Nobile.
    Try it if you like:
    Allure EDP – Chanel
    Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDP
    Due Donna -Biagotti

I am an absolute fan of L`Instant since I first tried it, parfume or edt, doesn`t make much of a difference, the essence is the same..Yes indeed, it is mainly magnolia with amber and bits of other white flowers, and citrus in the background – not complicated, it is what it is and it`s wonderful that way. My most elegant perfume to date, the one always gets complemented on and the one that feels on just right without any notes coming out that should not be there. What I`d like to point out is even the edt lasts ALL DAY, I mean I sprayed it on at 6 in the morning and 6 in the evening I can still clearly smell it, and at the moment I have a slight cold – so just giving an idea here about how good quality the perfume is. It is worth every penny, I wish every scent I ever had was this long-lasting..

Highly recommended if you think edp is cloying and suffocating. This is a fresher, more modern and refined version, no honey here and vanilla is much toned down; also very longlasting for an edt.

After a single contact with edt I must say that it smells ok.
Safely, on summer days, like tea with ice, lemon and sugar. But there is no sweetness here, which works good. Many of the ingredients are magnolia, jasmine, grapefruit and apple – they make a nice bouquet. Even for a moment, as if my honey came up. I recommend for people who need democratic perfumes to work so as not to offend others. For me as safe as Armani Mania for women.

I don’t like the EDP, but this is lovely. I get mostly orange blossom and spiced honey and amber. It reminds me of Moroccan oil hair serum or a lighter, fresher, more modern version of Hermes 24 faubourg. I love it most in the fall, it’s such a comfort scent, like a warm hug of fragrance.

Just received this yesterday and it was a blind buy, ok it really good, i can feel right away orange blossom and lilly and i like it very very much, then something sweet takes place that is ok too, the problem is that it fades away so fast, usually when i use a new perfume a can smell myself all day long until it becomes my smell, this one is gone in less than 2 hours leaving a faint sweet sent, this is dissappointing to me couse i was expecting something really strog reading the reviews, so because of it i don’t recommend it, as per the comments that it smells old, to me it smells really lovely but it matters nothing the moment that no one can feel it

It’s a creamy and sweet white floral scent. White flowers are dominant in this perfume, but in a sweet and mild way.
I thought it would be more classic-smelling than it actually is.
It’s more suitable for evening. Quite nice and elegant scent, I like the composition of amber and white flowers.
I have been wearing my sample a few times and I think it’s nice, but one could find a more impressive one.
I think it would be suitable for someone in their 40s or 50s.

My abundantly, heartfelt love and gratitude to Moon Lion for sending me her dabber bottle! This gentle, womanly, achingly-beautiful fragrance was a love at first sniff for me. As much as I adore the edp for it’s creamy, honeyed feel I find that the amber, and citrus notes in the edt version play up the delicate magnolia scent. Despite the appearance of citrus in the notes my skin does not pick up any. Instead I get a very fragrant Southern magnolia in full bloom. The subtly of the fruity notes together with amber and the additional white flowers only serve as supportive roles for the creamy magnolia scent that dries to a luscious vanilla. Despite honey not being listed in this version the fragrance is just as smooth and subtly sweet as its stronger edp counterpart.
Sillage is arm’s length at first but gradually settles close to the skin, surrounding me in a cloud of vanilla magnolia. Longevity lasts about 4 hours from my dabber bottle. I assume a full size spray would last longer.
As a Southern girl this scent conjures up images of a bygone era with ladies in fine silk dresses and wide brimmed hats, sipping juleps on wrap-around porches as they watch the sunset on an early summer evening. Absolutely wonderful! I MUST have a full bottle.

A lovely, moderate, magnolia and light citrus scent. It’s ladylike, office appropriate, subtly complex and elegant without being snobbish about it.
Alas, the citrus note (a fruit, not neroli or bergamot,) does not agree with my chemistry at all, and it wears very sharp and almost metallic on my skin . . . as most citruses tend to do for me. Sigh.
Probably a safe blind buy for all but the under-30-dedicated-to-smelling-like-a-candy-store set, and those like me, whose personal chemistry does not wear citrus well.
What could go wrong? It’s Guerlain!

Such a beautiful, gorgeous, classy smelling scent! Glowing magnolia and white florals, soft, fresh and warm. Excellent sillage! I love it! I much prefer this over the EDP, which is slightly more honeyed and sweeter, which I tend to find a bit cloying. This is a perfect scent all year round but there is something about wearing it in the springtime.

I nearly came here screaming about how disappointed I was in this. A lot of my fragrances are blind buys. I research them a good bit but I really do not have any decent fragrance counters near me and I just never understood asking companies for samples. Any way, after my research, this sounded right up my alley. Ordered it online from Overstock (as I do many of my frag’s) and the first day I tried it I was like..”this screams old lady perfume!!!” But I decided to give it another try, and I am glad I did.
To me, this is a light, safe fragrance. It is an older woman’s fragrance to me, but not the inside of grandma’s old handbag like I originally thought. I always initially test this on a blouse that I hang in an open bedroom for truest scent. But when I wear this, it softens to a light creamy citrusy floral, yet it has a sophisticated scent about it. I do not see why Fragrantica has ‘animalic’ listed as an accord, I detect nothing animalic about this, perhaps it is referring to the amber, which I do not really detect at all, even sniffing hard. But this to me is a lovely soft floral citrus. Or a citrus floral, depending on the day. Wear time is not the greatest, it is an EDT, after all, but I still get a good solid 6 or so hours out of this, and then I have to get up close to my skin to smell it. Reminds me of a fragrance a classy school teacher would wear. Slightly comforting, not cold at all. “Safe” for gatherings, I would say. I definitely could see this being an everyday ‘go-to’ scent, when you want to just smell nice and not put much thought into ‘what to wear’.

More linear and harmonious on my skin than the EDP (although you don’t get that same blast of green in the opening). Despite no listed vanilla, that is one sweet amber note, but not overpowering or suffocating, but deliciously comforting. It complements the magnolia beautifully. It doesn’t really feel like a white floral to me, at least not the type I’m used to. It is a very cozy fragrance without being too wintery. The top notes, especially the black currant, but I suspect also the bergamot, give it such a nice little kick.
It borders on gourmand, its powderiness reminding me of icing sugar at times. There’s almost an almondy feel to it (and now I get where the idea to do L’Instant Magic came from, but weridly that one feels less edible to me). Yet it’s not quite gourmand, and I love that it treads that line so carefully (by comparison, I have Aqua di Parma’s Mandorlo di Sicilia, a delicious and beautifully constructed powdery almond fragrance, but oftentimes I feel it’s too literal an interpretation of a desert and so I get much less use out of it).
L’Instant EDT is probably one of the fragrances I reach for the most, as it is very versitile and suitable for a wide range of occasions, and I never seem to be not in the mood for it. It seems both nostalgic and modern, warm and creamy but also very clean and polished. Honestly, what’s not to love?

Opening is like high quality soap, (like baiser vole I also get the similarity) and then it settles down to creamy floral vanilla. I have both edt and edp and edp is more potent. The drydown of edt resembles more to alien essence absolue’s than edp of l’instant. I don’t know why. Both of them are very beautiful and more suitable for winter/autmn/early spring in my opinion. They don’t smell like burnt sugar but they are sweet and vanillic. Not the typical white flower bouquet that you may expect from notes. I like them both:)

Very gourmand white flowers. It makes perhaps the ambra. Well maked. I like it.

  21. :

It opens fresh with citruses and apple but it passes the opening part in few minutes on me and reaches to it’s pretty floral heart
Magnolia, gardenia and lily are my most beloved white florals and they are present here(though there is no lily listed)these white florals are very balanced thank to fresh fruit notes and well blended with amber..so there is not too much white florals here, just the right amount of them
I find this magnolia-gardenia-amber combination very elegant, feminine and gorgeous..I don’t find it fruity,or citrusy, these notes are hidden some where providing little amount of freshness
Amber adds warmth, depth and a sweet undertone to florals, soft powdered and almost delicious
Haven’t tested edp version yet so I can’t tell about differences
I just know that l’instant edt is soft, sensual and lovely..one of best guerlains I’ve tried and is among my top ten favorite fragrances
Longevity and sillage are both good and I prefer wearing it during fall and spring, however it’s wearable year round and is versatile
    ❤❤❤❤❤

L’Instant EDT is impeccably tasteful, a beacon of modern elegance. There is no way this could ever be considered inappropriate, no matter the setting, event, time of day, weather, or age of the wearer. A perfect signature scent for the woman who doesn’t leave the house unless she’s groomed to a T and never allows vulgarity to pass her lips. Much as I like the smell, that’s just not quite me; however, L’Instant will surely earn its place in my collection, because sometimes, even I am forced to fake it.
Seriously, though… a legitimately expensive smelling apple note? Believe it. It’s a genius composition. Blends perfectly with the scent of my hair and it’s still pretty easily detectable on my skin after 12 hours.

It is the strangest thing – my nose reads this beautiful creation as being astoundingly similar to Baiser Vole EDP on my skin.
Where is the lily coming from?
After the delightfully astringent bergamot opening I’m surrounded by transparent plumes of vanilla during the dry down with sweet lilies taunting me on the breeze. Yet at the slightest shift without notice I am recalling Alien EDT on my skin. An engaging and entertaining wear indeed – and one that smells heavenly across all facets revealed to me.
My hormones are consistently surprising me, (and those close to me and not always in a good way!), I guess one of the nicer thrills of going through menopause – my perfumes have taken on new and often surprising identities – I never know what to expect.
It is exciting and frightening reaching for firm favourites these days.

I vote for L’Instant Eau de Toilette!
At first thought it was L’Instant. Still a bit confused how they could smell the same since notes seem so different? No matter, I was enjoying the Eau de Toilette already and learning which one it truly is only helped the smell of it make more sense. I adore Gardenia .. But .. it really can be done with a too heavy hand. First, I admire the use of Magnolia for a partner, not tuberose. Guerlain takes my focus on the Gardenia here and turns it into little puffs of creaminess that float around like light little clouds. La Panthere Legere by Cartier also found a way to lighten up this flower and adds immense elegance to it, rather than someone wearing a moo moo dress. Who wore it better? maybe doesn’t matter because the approaches are quite different and I adore both. What matters is the unfriendliness that can sometimes accompany a white floral is simply impeccable in this bottle. This one keeps close to you rather than reaching out and clobbering people on their heads.
(also finding like use of grapefruit as a citrus.) (and green apple as a note.)

I sooo wanted to like this one on me… I was stalking a lady a couple of years ago at a train station and asked her about her scent which was really amazing. She gave me the name of this perfume. Since then every time I had to fly somewhere I sprayed some of it from the tester on me at the duty free shop and I really enjoyed it. This Christmas I received it as a gift and began using it and I must admit after using it every single day for about 2 weeks: I am too skinny and too silly to this one… My age would be perfectly appropriate but I wear too much jeans, my hair is just too short and I always wished I had more womanly body features and stuff…Sometimes you can become one with a scent other times the scent is just standing beside you all by itself, lonely. This second one was me and l’instant. We are just different, thats it.

have to come back on this one 😉 It’s winter over here, and I love this one very much.
Opening is mostly black currant and apple, Jasmine (on my skin)
Middle: Jasmine, Magnolia, Lily of the valley. black currant
End: Magnolia, Lily, Amber , little bit currant
Stays on my skin very well. When I spray this in my neck, I get whiffs all the time. So lovely:-)
Very pretty bottle, spray’s very good. 8/10

OMGeeeee!!! Adore! I’ve had the EDP for years absolute love but this is something so lovely so special and like many of you have said, fresher. I’m just stunned at how gorgeous and effortless this is. Guerlain is my favorite house now! I can’t pick out the notes yet but whereas EDP is like the mamma, more tamed mature and comfortable this is youth fresh and energetic. I completely adore this, I will easily wear this to work and not worry how much I’ve put on. Complete love ❤️

  29. :

    4 out of 5

I love everything Guerlain, but this is one I really didn’t like. It was extremely potent and strong. The projection was astronomical!
The apples made it quite sharp and a little sour on me, the white flowers very piercing. The amber was quite fresh, but barely kept anything grounded. It was a giant mess of fizziness. I think the mix on me just didn’t like my chemistry at all, it hung in the air around me and suffocated everyone in the room.
My chemistry likes a warmer and calmer sort of scent, I’ll look towards the EDP.

  32. :

To me: there are Guerlain perfumes, and there are the other perfumes. Why?
I tend to never love Guerlain perfumes at the first sniff. I rather dislike them, they are so strange to me, often I feel like I am having a headache. But then I think of the fragrance, I cannot forget about it. It stays in my mind for months, years. So I want to give it another chance. And I do. And the second time is always so different from the first one. They are no more strange, but interesting. They no more cause a headache, but I find their overpowering way of being very sensual. With every following chance, that I give to Guerlain fragrance, I love it more and more. This is a rule in my case.
The same thing happens with L’Instant EDT. First test was tiring. Strange and heavy.
But now – well, I know I love them. They are flowery and powdery and feminine.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

My all-time favorite perfume. Ultimate sensuality in a bottle, soft as velvet, sweet in most discreet and gentle way, powdery, just Mmmmm…. I used it for years, every day, all occasions. Very sensual and sexy, feminine and subtle. Maybe because it blends so well with my skin that one can hardly tell the difference. Amazing perfume.

  34. :

I have hesitated to review this one…my first purchase was about a year ago & I was disappointed, finding it over hyped & unremarkable.
Fast forward, in a determined effort to justify the size of my collection I began to wear my less favoured fragrances before passing them on to a Woman’s’ shelter. Well, either the perfume fairy has visited or my skin/taste has changed dramatically…this is gorgeous! Magnolia, honey & I guess the “powder” is Iris(?) some rose & something indefinable, elegance..style, maybe pure class?
So glad I gave it another chance.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

An absolute love for me. It’s slightly powdery but the blend is so smooth. Great vanilla with soft floral and just a slight zing of grapefruit. Love love love it! I just want to add that I also have and love the EDP. At some point, I will do a side by side comparison because I had wished I’d had one prior to buying them. I’m glad I have both but I will come back to add that review of the differences or similarities more precisely sometime soon!

  36. :

    3 out of 5

received this one today. a unique parfume, and very natural smell. But….there is a ingredient that is standing out and I don’t quite like it. I think it’s the jasmine or blackcurrant. A bit sour smell….Overal good sillage and a good one for summerday’s.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I just love it. Have the EDP but find that it can be too strong for summer/spring so that’s when the EDT shines! They are both stunning perfumes, and as another reviewer has said, there is nothing else like them out there and I have been wearing quality perfumes for nearly 60 years now. Always buy another bottle of the EDT when it runs out, but, calamity….it will no longer be available in South Australia because it hasn’t been selling well. May have to import a bottle – still have a good 3/4 of a 100ml bottle so am using it for special occasions. Thanks Guerlain…please don’t ever change this one, it is gorgeous! Alexandrarae

I find this version of (2005) too oriental, and annoying with its radiating Ambergris (Animalic Amber) note.

I wanted L’Instant de Guerlain for a long time and now that I have it, I am not quite sure how I feel about it. On my skin it becomes progressively sweeter as it evolves. I get a good bit of magnolia and the general impression is of a creamy, sweet perfume. It is lighter than the EDP (which I have only sniffed briefly) but still not what I would call an airy perfume. It has some weight and substance to it, maybe due to the amber? Overall, I would say nice, a work-friendly perfume, pleasant and sweet. I will test the EDP as well and update with a comparison when I have the chance.

Gorgeous scent. Smells very similar to Hanae Mori with a little more floral. The Amber and bergamot are combining into a creamy vanilla scent.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

This is an amazing scent. I cannot describe it by notes since it is perfect alchemy and the impression is pure femininity, softness and beauty. Divinely develops on the skin and it is very long lasting. On cloths stays by days. No more words to add, simply perfect.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

This one surprised me. I pride myself on hating most vanilla centric fragrances– you know what I mean– the ones made for teeny boppers that smell cheap and tacky. I have no desire to smell like a cupcake or sugar or cotton candy. I want to smell like a grown woman, elegant and poised! At first I thought this was too vanilla-y for my taste and admittedly the edp is. However, the magnificent creamy/waxy magnolia note really comes through in the edt. I’ve never smelled anything like this- well blended, complex, sweet, creamy, waxy, floral. Nobody does vanilla like Maurice Roucel and Guerlain!

  44. :

Naked and sweet-sweaty woman body after shower… That’s what i smell! That’s what i call sexy! She is not harsh, she doesn’t bother you with her smell. She just touch your nose and brain gently with her silky hands.
This is not a perfume this is the dream or i am high? Go ask Alice, i think she’ll know.

This is a perfect example of a “pink”, sweet-vanilla fragrance done right!
All the younger people take notice: if you are into Flowerbomb or Viva la Juicy please try this fabulous fragrance. It will satisfy all of your sugary-vanilla cravings with a class.
This fragrance is very smooth and very well blended, develops like a dream on your skin and stays like that for hours, without smelling cheep.
Not to worry about white floral, I can’t stand white flowers smell in perfumes, but this one is made with very soft, sensual floral, no issues.
    Sassy & fun!

A sweet love for me. One of my absolute favorites, and I’m already on my second bottle. I love trying and finding new fragrances, but there are certain ones that you feel are must-haves in your collection at all times. That’s Guerlain L’Instant EDT for me.
The flower arrangement is just so perfect here; not too strong, but definitely noticeable. They’re soft and delicate. There’s also a nice bite of sweetness, and the mixture of sweet notes and amber gives it a yummy honey feel, though not sticky or sickly. It’s dewy. It’s also not a gourmand.
I personally think this works best in cooler months and is very nice for an office setting if you want to get noticed. To me, this is a signature fragrance and it might become mine.
Longevity is fantastic and sillage is nice for an EDT, it sits close but it’s far from a skin scent. If sprayed just right, I find it leaves a pretty trail.
I can’t compare this to the EDP since I haven’t tried it yet – that’s next on my list.

  48. :

    4 out of 5

Classy, soft, feminine and simply gorgeous – L’instant de Guerlain is beauty in a bottle. It is in no way overpowering but still makes a luxurious statement. This sophisticated scent is one of my all time favourites and when I wear it I feel confident and beautiful. At initial spray the top notes are fresh and fruity but almost immediatly as it touches the skin it turns into this wonderful mixture of soft white florals and sweet honey/vanilla.
Although it is quite sweet it is in no way gooey. To me it has just the right balance of freshness, sweetness, and florals. The longevity of this EdT is also really good, and for me, having a skin that seems to “eat up scents” as soon as I put them on, that means a lot.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

As with the EDP, I get a lot of magnolia in this scent with a slightly woody base. As has been said by many, this is sweeter and more honeyed than the EDP, but it also contains a LOT of green apple, which made the scent feel sharper and more shrill to me. Between the two, I would choose the EDP. You get that lovely warm nutty-vanilla benzoin drydown, which is entirely absent in this version of the scent.

  50. :

    4 out of 5

Opens with a lovely citrus floral however, the dry down (which happens quite quickly) leaves much to be desired.. on me it smells of chemical vanilla.

If you like florals and the Guerlain brand, this is a must buy. I am not a fan of florals but love the Guerlain brand, so this was a blind cheapish eBay purchase. I like it, sorta, but it is not my go to perfume by any stretch of the imagination. I am curious how I will feel about it in spring (stupid cold Cleveland weather)…my hope is that it will blossom beautifully with the warmer weather. It is very feminine and classic, without being sweet.

Ah, l’Instant de Guerlain Eau de toilette. I have had it for years. One of the very few perfumes I bought again, and again, and again. Yes, I am on my third bottle.
Lately, it’s been somewhat ignored, with my purchasing a lot of new olfactory treasures, but we are having a really cold spell in Canada. Cold as in: any sensible person with money should permanently move NOW to a warmer, more human-friendly country. Well, in my case, the will is there, but not the bank account (;-) So I resort to olfactory escapes.
Which brings me to L’Instant. It is an interesting love, since I usually don’t like sweet perfumes. But his one has made it again, and again, on my top list of comfort scents. I absolutely do not get the official top notes (bergamot and various fruits). For me it is all about amber, vanilla and honey, and some jasmine and neroli to give it a floral heart.
Very sweet. Completely comforting. Utterly beautiful in the fall and winter.
(As a final note: I have tried the Eau de Parfum but it doesn’t have the same magic. Both edt and edp are equally strong, but in different ways. I find edp too cloying, with too much honey and amber.)

I bought it today (my cargo package arrived) and it is so nice I can say! I just sprayed 2-3 times to try it on but could smell myself throughout the day. (mine is EDT) Indeed I can’t believe an EDT can be so strong.
Although I don’t like fragrances that just many people wear and common, and although this is not totally foreign to me (I m sure I perceived the smell many times) I can say it is unique.
If you consider a light yet lingering perfume this can be the one.

One of the most gorgeous, luminous and cosy perfumes I have ever had the pleasure of smelling. There are so many lovely facets to this perfume, and they meld together to create perfection. The woman I want to become is the kind depicted through L instant. She is loving, intelligent, humble, strong, joyful, maternal, ladylike, a bohemian spirit with love for all natural things, extremely loveable, a true Royal. I adore this and in time I know it will become my new signature. It has no weather or season, it will fit right in to whatever situation you throw it into. Sparkling for the bitter winter, and Refreshing for the heat, just right in Autumn and Spring.
Creamy honey dipped florals mixed with a tinge of powder and fruity green and minty notes to create a bright yet sweet and warm scent. A refreshing sweet drink sitting in the garden on a Spring day.
Very unique, I have never smelled anything like it. I will compare it to my current signature Artemisia, as they have a similar “feel”. Another aura scent as it is not heavy but creates a welcoming atmosphere around you. The Givenchy Organza for my generation. A gorgeous, well balanced and mannered woman. I adore you L instant!
Update: I love the edp as well now! Edt is perfect for warm months, late spring, summer and early fall. Edp is much heavier and warmer, perfect for the cold months.

Beautiful and classically feminine….a very wearable white floral for me. Most of the time white florals pierce me right between the eyes but L’Instant doesn’t. It has a smooth honey like warmth and fruity sweetness that keeps it soft and inviting and keeps the white flowers from being too shrill. L’Instant is a very well balanced composition. Linear and maybe even a bit “perfumey” but it really is such a pretty fragrance. The dry down is just beautiful.
A somewhat “proper” and ladylike scent without being too stuffy. If it is possible for a fragrance to be “kind”, I would describe L’Instant as being kind. It smells like the perfume of a well mannered and kind lady to me for some reason. Gentle and serious but soft, warm and welcoming. Another winner from Maurice Roucel.

I find this to be a very soft, gentle, elegant and feminine perfume well suited for day to day wear.
