OMG I’m glad Fragrantica has add Volupsa.
More detail review to follow.
Awestruck by it performance, for it’s price, presentation, this is a formidable oriental.
Yes, yes, more to come!
…..I’m back. I was so glad to see this , the whole entire brand in the Frangratica library. Its ironic that I wore this yesterday. I was introduce to this brand thanks to Bloomingdale’s. I had brought myself a Nest candle for Christmas but was more impress with the presentation of this brand. I just assume it would be more expensive due to the detail.
This particular scent pull me in with its vanilla like notes. I was surprise with the name because it doesn’t resonate green to me. After buying a generous two-wick candle for 16.00 dollars I started familiarizing myself on the internet with the brand and I saw that there was a room spray that double as a perfume….and it was 19.00 dollars!! I thought maybe the longevity would be dismal or this would be a skin scent. No, not at all —this resonate on my body and not really in the air. So, its definitely more of a body scent , than a room freshener. I have recently been drawn to scents that double as more than body perfumes( i.e Diptyque’s Plurielle , Vinaigre) and here we are.
I order it online and was floored again by the beautiful packaging. It was package like a 200.00 fragrance –in the beautiful decorated cylinder holder , painted in a watercolor light blue, resonating the scent inside the paper canister. I use it a vase now. I can not speak enough about the packaging,
The scent — has a tuberose and sandalwood , vanilla vibe( discover there’s Tobacco in it.) Sweet and powdery. It very much resemble Diptyque Do Son in smell or their tuberuese candle.
This is just worth it –for the price. What an excellent brand. Invest , Invest and if this Linden and Dark Moss does not work for you there something in Volupsa repertoire that will ( Very curious about the Cannelle and Orange –Cinnamon and Orange )

Very disappointed with this. I definitely would not call it a green aromatic, its in the very spicy aromatic category to my nose. I can’t find even a trace of linden, or anything leafy – all I get is a very sharp spicy note like clove, the faintest hint of moss and that’s it. I absolutely hate the scent of clove, so I’ll never use this!
