This very Limited Edition scent is as well very limited in quantity: only 350 pieces. All the pieces are numbered on the edge of the box and contain as well a personalized numbered card inside the box. Its name has been chosen in reference to 1971, the year of independence and sovereignty for the United Arab Emirates.

Limited 71 by WIDIAN is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Limited 71 was launched in 2016. Top notes are bergamot, nutmeg and coriander; middle notes are patchouli, ambergris, agarwood (oud) and smoke; base notes are white musk, amber and incense.

I’ve smelled that fragrance at Jovoy Paris. It is a beautiful bright ambery coriander and floral scent which last longer than the others fragrances from that brand. It’s like a lighter but definitely long lasting, brighter and more wearable version of Interlude man by Amouage.

Incredibly gorgeous fragrance. Opens fresh but hang on…here comes the oud, beautiful but slightly animatic musks, incense and smoke. There is an undeniable sex appeal going on here. You know that scent that lingers in the air after passionate love making? Well, beneath all of the aforementioned notes, there is a faint super attractive sweet “odor” that I can only best describe as a pheromone. I will try to describe this fragrance: Alluring-sexy musks, citrusy fresh, deep, rich, slightly smokey, and quite powerful. The oud never quite ventures into barnyard territory but I would rather describe it as a raw woody scent. A fragrance which is mysteriously attractive and unlike any others I have or can describe. The only fragrance that comes to mind would be Roja Dove Danger Parfum Pour Homme which contains one of the best ambergris notes I’ve ever experienced. That fragrance is fresh but very opulent and complex which is an accurate comparison when someone asks “what does it remind you of? Widian 71 performs and evolves over several hours. 10/10 in all categories and $345 well spent. (Limited Edition, Bottle #104 of 350)
