This was a gift from my husband for my birthday and I really like it. I’m really not a citrus person but I love this surprisingly. It really makes me feel super super fresh and I cannot explain how much I love the dry down. This would definitely be on my list of holiday, summer and everyday wear. A really sophisticated cool fresh feeling that lasts for around 3-4 hours on my skin.

I liked this when I first bought it but I then realised that the smell is very harsh. I wouldn’t mind the citrusy scent of the perfume if was softer, or balanced with a more floral note but in my opinion this is quite screechy and it’s just not appealing. It is fresh which I like in perfumes in general, but overall, not my type of scent as it’s just too sharp.

Lemon, Apple, Bamboo: these are the notes that remain in my nose for hours. This fragrance could be safely unisex. It gives the charge and above all it’s a breath of freshness when it’s hot outside. A good D & G, even one of the best. Obviously behind it could not be a big nose!

Not sure why people go so crazy for this scent.
It’s beautiful, fresh, and crisp on a fragrance card and I wish I could smell it all day long but I guess the chemistry does not work with my skin because the fragrance is gone in less than 10min.
All I can smell is green apples, even after the dry down.
It doesn’t have any dimension and you could well accomplish the same thing by rubbing apples all over your skin.

I buy this perfume EVERY SUMMER for the last 8 or 9 summers. This perfume brings me all the amazing summers I have experienced and sets my mood for the approaching ones. It is clean and fresh and suits well a young woman. It opens with lemons which quickly fade away opening the way for clean musk.
I have heard many times that this perfume is too popular and everyone wears it. I am very familiar with the scent and in all the years I have yet to meet a person who wears it.

I bought the body lotion, shower gel and Edt.I am a bit disappointed because it does not last long at all.
All I could smell was lemon and a bit musk that’s it . I am not buying it again.

Air freshener, but don’t worry. It doesn’t last long.

Lush Lemon and woody aromas make this my sophisticate scent for business and family events as everyone seems to enjoy it. Reminds me of a “sunny day”.

I heard raves about this scent and the notes appealed to me before I got to try it on. After trying it on, I can tell you it’s a powerhouse but not for the kind of scent that I like. I think it is a fabulous scent, just not for me. People around me seem to like this! So don’t get discouraged from my review.
It’s ads of ocean-esque visuals match up to the scent, and it is dominated by citrusy notes and gives you an image of a clear sky. Good scent in itself, just not something I would wear. I am still glad I tried it! I don’t reccomend for a blind buy; See if it suits you first. It is like a vacation scent you would wear on the beach in my sole opinion.
Another thing I’d like to note; this scent has a distant cousin I thought was similar; Olympea by Paco Robanne is the same genre as this perfume. Ocean-Citrus-Open Sky.

Still rocking this in September. My crush asked me what perfume I was wearing and told me it smelled really good when I wore this. Definitely getting this again after I use up my 25ml bottle, this is FB worthy for me. Such a lovely scent, it works on all occasions. I can even see myself wearing this on a night out. It’s so chic and fresh.

I am a huge fan of citrusy perfumes – I can hardly like a scent on myself if it hasn’t got citruses in it. I got Light Blue as a gift, and while I probably wouldn’t purchase it again as there are perfumes I like better and I’d give priority to them, I did enjoy wearing it. It smells fresh, marine, with strong and crisp citruses, and as someone already said, it can almost be considered an unisex. It has a good longevity and a little spray goes a long way (I’ve had the 50 ml bottle for 2 years and I used to wear it daily at one point). It smells similar to Mare by Byblos, which is much cheaper, so if you enjoyed Light Blue and you’re seeking for a cheaper version, give Mare a try. It smells slightly fruitier than Light Blue, and to me it feels more girly. Overall I’d say a 4.2/5 .
    Edit:
I started wearing Light Blue again and well, I appreciated it only now. There’s something warm and spicy I didn’t seem to sense before. It smells super refreshing, and now I get even a sexy hint. I’m actually ashamed I used to label it as unisex. It’s not. It’s feminine. I hadn’t smelled it for a while, probably I’d forgotten how deep, beautiful and intoxicating the citrus was.
I will probably buy it again. I don’t think you can make a straight up citrus perfume any sexier.

It’s fresh summer scent..Light blue give me the soul of summer season. It’s my favourite perfume when iam in high school..

I received a bottle of D&G Light Blue from a friend.
It has fresh and oceany scent like you just came from a warm refreshing bath. I can smell the citrus in the middle and as it fades the woody lingers. Can be used for men though.
This is one of the perfumes that gives me migraines at first few wears.

I’m on my second bottle. While I love the smell, sillage and longevity is poor for me. My friend who I first smelled this on, had better projection than I did.

    Longevity okay too

This is a OLD LOVE of mine in somehow every 3 years I return to this relationship. It is FRESH fruity FEMINE and light floral. It has ONE NEGATIVE .Even if its so long on market the price is still high.

A modern classic, for good reason. This is the fresh, vibrant scent of summer. On me, it opens with lemon and dries down to cedar, not becoming sweet or sour. It’s not actually my favorite citrus, but it’s a great starting point. It’s a smell of clean, perfect for a hot day.
Moschino Funny! is a cheap dupe. Moschino I Love Love is a sugary orange, not a lemon and cedar, so despite the “smells like” votes on this page, I wouldn’t recommend that one as a dupe.

I sprayed this on yesterday at Sephora and I’m convinced it was reformulated. It’s still nice and fresh, but the original Light Blue for women was WAY sexier and flowery. It smelled like heaven. Someone wore it to a final exam when I was in college in a lecture hall and it calmed my nerves for the duration of the exam. I’ve always liked the women’s perfume much better than the men’s, anyway. I wish I would’ve had the nerve to wear it. I smelled it twice at Sephora since writing this review and it’s a big disappointment compared to what it was!

I will preface this by saying I know this is uber-popular. Some people complain about that. Call it basic.
    I. DONT. CARE.
This stuff is heavenly in the way that a warm breeze rushes across your sun-kissed lips and makes you feel as if the world is spinning around you, and you are the center…and everything is quiet and the sun is not too hot and the dew on the grass is the color of gold as evening sets in.
So, yeah. I love it. Mechanically speaking, this never turns sour on me, which so many fragrances do, and I am forever grateful of that.

I’m a guy and I sometimes wear this because my wife has it in her collection. Sometimes when I get tired of my 60+ summer mens perfume with their strong citurs vibe, I go for my wife’s perfume wardrobe and reach for this without hesitation. I like wearing this when I just want a light citrus and little sweetness for very hot days. There are times when I just want to wear a plain white shirt, shorts and white snickers then spray my wife’s D&G Light Blue and not my own light blue or other summer colognes. I think, I’ll have to buy one for me and one for my wife when her light blue runs out and it’s going to be soon.

I bought this very beautiful perfume straight ahead when it came to Norway, ca 2002, and I have worn out several bottles, and still I got a copy of it in my wardrobe =))
It smells of fresh green apples and citrus on my skin, and we are so very happy ever after ;))

I have never, and will never, get the hype about this scent. It smells like rank body odor. (B.O.) My older sister who always smells fabulous, had this on one day, and I definitely caught a hint of the b.o. smell. Even sprayed in the air, on a tester, on your wrist, it mimics b.o. perfectly. What more can I say?

Am I the only one who perceives this fragrance as very sweet? It’s supposed to be fresh and lemony, and yes, the citric notes are there in the beginning, but very soon this turns into an apple juice on me! (Plus some sweet musk and very faint cedar.) I like Light Blue on others, but my skin always amplifies those sweet fruity notes and ruins many perfectly likable scents for me.

For me, the citrus fades rather quickly and the entire thing turns to musk. The only note I can detect is musk for the fleeting period of time through which the fragrance lasts.

Whenever I wear my Light Blue, I’m always surprised more reviews don’t mention the strong cedar note. On me, the cedar note is really, really prominent. I don’t dislike it, but I don’t love it either. I think I’m always lured by how many people like it. I don’t seem to receive compliments on this one.
I stumbled on a DUPE by accident. BeautiControl (their perfumes aren’t in the database here), has an EDT named Sugar Sqeeze, and I just bought a bottle off ebay. I’d smelled in in the past, thought I liked it, so ordered it. I was shocked when I got it and immediately knew it smelled exactly like something I have. Within a minute, I knew: Light Blue. Even the notes are the same. If you want a cheaper cost Light Blue, this is it.

Tried for the first time today as a blind buy, and I think I’ll have to try it again to see if I really like it. I sprayed once on each wrist, and driving to work I was pleasantly reminded of limoncello, or lemongrass. Halfway through the morning I could no longer smell anything unless I put my nose to my skin, but a colleague said she could smell something floral on me. I could make out a vaguely rose-carnation scent, nothing like the initial fragrance but pleasant enough. I think the thing I’ve liked most is that it is work appropriate with low silage per spray. By evening it has no scent at all. I may try it on the weekend with some more enthusiastic application and see how it goes.

So apparently I enjoy smelling like a lemon now. Never thought I’d see the day. I’m a oriental-, gourmand-girl through and through, I love vanilla but I can’t run around wearing Hypnotic Poison in July can I? It’s already so hot here in Sweden to my surprise and I’ve been wearing this all week. It was a blind buy but I remember my mothers sister wearing this when I was younger. I always gazed longingly at the beautiful perfume bottle on the shelf in her bathroom. I’ve been drawn to this scent ever since and finally got around to try it. Speaking of the bottle; I just adore it. So clean and classy. The beautiful matte glass flacon, the stylish, delicate details, the soft, velvety box the bottle comes in. I have the 25 ml bottle and it’s just adorable.
The opening is very heavy on the citrus. Initial blast smells like I’ve just sprayed lemon juice on me. As the scent developes it becomes more nuanced. The woodsy notes of the cedarwood comes through strong on me and the musk as well. The amber is just the icing on the cake. It’s nice to have a fresh, light summer scent that isn’t aquatic. I love my L’eau D’issey but it’s nice to change it up. This will get a lot of use this summer. Only downside is longevity and sillage. Sillage is fine however since it gets boosted in this heat and I don’t like a very big sillage anyway. I’m usually an undersprayer, tops 3 sprays, usually just 1. I have to go to TOWN on this one, I do 6 sprays. This one I think needs to be reapplied but that is usually the case with citrus-heavy scents, right?
I think this works for any woman on most occasions. It isn’t very feminine in itself but I think it can be in a casual way. It doesn’t wear you, and that in itself I think is sexy. Will use a lot this summer. A classic that will continue to be loved.

The first time I smelled this, I did not like it. After a few more times, I began to like it. This fragrance is very fresh and light smelling. It’s citrusy, and even a bit musky. I love wearing this after a morning shower.

This perfume is a classic. I loved it years ago and i still love it. A fresh scent, not feminine at all, but yet a scent i think is very suitable for all women. I imagine this is how a cool and independent woman will smell like. Someone wearing a plain white t-shirt and some jeans, loose messy hair and the clean and fresh scent of Dolce Gabbana light blue.

Light blue is a fantastic perfume for summer. I’m a guy but I love this scent. the lemons here are nice and fresh, as opposed to the synthetic spicy lemons we have in our men fragrances. I love it!

I thought it would be a perfect Summer scent so I blind bought it a couple of years ago… on my skin it smelled like bugs’ spray…. I gave it to my mom and on her it smell ok… but you have to love lemons because it’s almost the only note I can smell

I tested this perfume times and times during these past years. I never figured what makes it one of the best sellers. It didn’t smell anything to me. except bergamot.I have tested it on my skin, when I try to smell it, it’s nothing there except bergamot for half an hour, then absoloutly nothing!!! I always wondered the other reviews, what is so sexy about nothing on your skin? then I decided to check the intense version. Still not there on my skin. But I kept the paper to ask others if they smell anything. They did! Now Wonderful!
Then I suddenly figured why!! Beneath a tone of bergamot and lemon, The dry dawn smells exactly, I mean exactly like female skin. at least mine. That’s why I can not sense it. The moment I realized what was wrong with me, the perfume started to glow! Vow. masterpiece. How something could smell so much natrualy sexy? without any of these gourmand, almost nauseating too sweet notes you can get everywhere these days.
Now I can not resist getting one, as soon as my bank account allows me! after buying 3 almost expensive perfumes this month 🙂

  41. :

    3 out of 5

First of all, I like stronger perfumes. I have quite dry skin. Therefore I was interested in Intense version, but never considered to buy it. Then I got a gift, whole set of Light blue EDT. Sadly, even if I use body lotion and make 5-6 sprays, it lasts up to one hour and fades without letting anybody know I have perfume on. This is so airy! It literally smells like air by seashore. I would love it as room spray. But on my skin even after spray it’s like lemon peel and smashed grass, it reminds all these home made soaps, nice but nothing special. I don’t think it’s a safe gift purchase, I know many people have a miss with this perfume. It just doesn’t work on everyone.

The sun is shining and it’s time to crack out my Light Blue for the first time this year. Such a zesty, energising and uplifting fragrance. The freshest lemon, drying down to a creamier interpretation of lemon and a clean, gentle musk. Classic summertime winner!

  43. :

At its’ best it’s a soft fresh apple fragrance with delicate wood notes. At it’s worst it’s rotten apple with some blah woods 🙁 Unfortunately it smells awful on me.

  44. :

Like if a lemon had the fuzzy outside texture of a peach. Fuzzy and fresh. My mom wears this, so I do not. I don’t see the resemblance to the I Love Love, as that is more orangey instead of lemoney. But I prefer the Moschino as it feels younger and flirtier, and for the price it lasts on my skin waaaaaaay longer.

Very happy it’s the time of year to break this juice out. Still one of the best Spring/Summer fragrances out there for both women and men. It never fails to put me in a good mood.

    Someone asked me why I never used Light Blue (knowing my love for fresh scents);
the answer is simply because on me it’s not that awesome fragrance of green apple and fresh bamboo I perceive on others.
I kindly envy those who can wear it.

  47. :

D&G light blue is my signature scent. it has lovely citrus opening notes and cedar that stays all day. a friend of mine claims that he can smell my perfume meters away.

  48. :

    4 out of 5

In summary, this is a fresh, simple and summery fragrance. It’s a familiar staple and great for everyday wear in the warmer half of the year.
The main notes are by far lemon and apple. The cedar, bluebell and bamboo are definitely there, but a little more subdued. Remaining notes are weak enough to disappear on me.
This is best when lightly sprayed. It is both strong and long lasting, and therefor run the risk of becoming overpowering when dosed to heavily. At the same time it has the great advantage of staying rather close to the skin, which makes it nice and discrete in hot weather.
I don’t know if this was unique or innovative when it came out. Nowadays I’d say it’s a staple familiar to most people, and plenty of similar alternatives exist. For that reason, this might register as boring or too common. It is not going to make a statement, and you’re most likely not going to be the only one wearing this. On the other hand, this has stood the test of 17 years on them market. By now it’s a safe and timeless choice. Whether that is good or bad is a simple matter of what type of perfume one is looking for.

I used this parfume many years ago when i was very young but never really enjoyed this.its not bad but it was just fresh ,too sharp citrusy scent, for me it was boring, maybe i should give it a try again. I think this could be unisex scent.

This perfume was my first real perfume in early 20’s. Everyone loved the freshness of lemons and apples. It’s very sporty, light scent, perfect after shower in the morning. The fragrance of lemons instantly wakes me up. Back in the day guys loved it, maybe because of unisex appeal. Another compliment magnet was popular at the time Addict 2 by Dior, similar scent, I think already discontinued.

Today was a nice 80’F spring day, I was standing under a tree with tiny fruit buds, trying to figure out where that nice sweetish floral scent was coming from – the tree or the lady standing next to me. At first I thought it was Lanvin Arpege D’Eclat that I love, but no the scent was sweeter. So, I pulled a brunch of the tree down, smelled it, rubbed between my fingers, no, just green, no sweetness. The scent around me smelled like one of those bushes with white brushes of tiny white flowers, fresh, light and sweet. So, I just asked the lady whether it was her or the tree, she admitted she was “the tree”. I was surprised to hear it was Light Blue, as I remember it being much stronger on other people. She has had it on for a couple hours, so it was lighter and muskier. I prefer Eclat though, it is brighter, and doesn’t have the musk that I don’t seem to like. And Eclat is a lot cheaper in price but not in quality.

    Acqua Fiorentina by Creed
    Eclat D’Arpege by Lanvin
    Widdringtonia by The Body Shop.
These smell kind of similar but they have focus more on floral or woody notes, therefore not identical to Light Blue.

I really do like this one!
The opening is a juicy, realistic citrus note. I’d say it’s not exactly a lemon note. It kind of reminds me of dalandan which is a south-east asian native citrus fruit that is more common i the Philippines I guess. You really can feel or smell the texture of the fruit when you cut it open and you get the juice that extracts from the pulp and the peel. But that’s only evident on the first little and fleeting moments, then the other notes immediately emerges, a lightly sweetened apple note blends in with a soft lychee-like note. But the overall result never turns too sweet and fruity. Since the notes are seamlessly well-blended, the overall feel feels soft, fresh, clean and smooth without being soapy or shampooey clean. Kind of like something you would smell on someone’s clean shirt, but not laundry-like at all. It’s really identical to Moschino Cheap & Chic I Love Love. They both share that lychee-apple fresh cleanliness.
Also the thing I’d like to add is my complain about the longevity. It only lasts for a few hours on my skin. But maybe if I give this regular wear, maybe the longevity will increase. It’s something that would definitely suit me since this definitely matches my style, but I wouldn’t wear it since it’s a pretty popular, common scent. I kind of want people to be intrigued by me when they catch a whiff of my scent. Any suggestions for something kind of like Light Blue but more unusual? I’m thinking about Cedre Atlas though

Because of its ubiquity, I’ve never really given Light Blue a fair shake. But when it showed up recently at TJMaxx, I thought, perhaps this should be part of my collection.. Although it was discounted, it still wasn’t cheap. I needed to give this fragrance a fair test to see if I could enjoy it on my person. What I have written below is focused on my read of the base notes, the part that stands out to me the most.
Let me back up and say that I smelled the aroma chemical Ambroxan on an acquaintance at an event some years back and asked what she was wearing. She was wearing Light Blue and I like Ambroxan. In the present moment, I have Light Blue on my skin and I don’t smell Ambroxan, but I get a strong scent of Norlimbanol!
At the Perfumer’s Apprentice website under Norlimbanol you will find this additional info:
As described by Chandler Burr, “Norlimbanol is one of the most amazing scents around, a genius molecule that should be worth its weight in gold; Norlimbanol gives you, quite simply, the smell of extreme dryness, absolute desiccation, and if when you smell it, you’ll understand that instantly—the molecule is, by itself, a multi-sensory Disney ride.” Of course the only reason I even know what this smells like is because I purchased Norlimbanol, mainly based on this convincing quote.
This particular aroma chemical/molecule was so strong, it really overwhelmed me, and its lasting power is no joke. When I searched the Internet for Light Blue and Norlimbanol to see what I could find, I found an article outlining this concern and much more by Mat Yudov right here on Fragrantica! I’m not sure I can include the link, but look up Mat.
I won’t be purchasing Light Blue because of my sensitivity to that particular substance, but it was certainly an interesting ride. The projection is subtle but intriguing, I’ll be enjoying this on other people.

I would be tempted to marry a girl who imbues the qualities of this perfume; (Easy-going, youthful, pleasant.) Until I broach any subject teetering on intellectualism and a stammering of “ers” and “ums” comes out of her mouth. Sure, basicness IS inoffensive and charming in a subdued sort of a way, it’s also a HUGE trade-off. The lack of depth and vapidness become tiresome after extended exposure. Ultimately I want someone who can discuss aesthetics above fashion, theology above spirituality, virtues above value, and this “essence” embodies too many of the latter. Nice just isn’t enough, and while this hypothetical girl may never throw a plate at my head out of anger, she’s also never read anything that wasn’t a Cosmopolitan article.

I love the dry down of this fragrance, but the opening smells like toilet cleaner to me. I recently found a fragrance – Ellen Tracy’s Confident EDP – that is a dupe for the dry down without the horrible lemon notes on top. Confident is also muuuuuch cheaper than Light Blue.

What in the world. I tried this perfume on and it was really nice for 5 minutes and COMPLETELY vanished after that, not before leaving orange stains on my skin (??).
I could actually consider making this one my best pal if my body didn’t react so weirdly to it. what a shame.

This was my introduction to fresh and clean scents. My best friend’s mom had this on her cabinet where she kept a lot of her perfumes and I was curious about it, so I sprayed it on my skin and I was amazed. I had never smelled anything like it! I was used to my bath and body works body sprays and perfumes, and this was nothing like it.
But to be honest in retrospect, I now see how it’s not the most refined scent. I do not think it’s horrible by any means but it’s certainly not my favorite.
It’s kind of funny how a simple citrus scent can be so polarizing though, so many of you love this while so many of you can’t stand it. I’m going to remain neutral and not mind smelling it on other people.

I am obsessed with this perfume! It is everything. I’ve somehow overlooked this previously but have recently been wearing it and I am in love. I get so many compliments, it’s citrusy lemon zest is so feminine and easy wearing. I really don’t think you can go wrong with this at all, I can’t imagine it not suiting someone either. Stunning smell.

This is a perfume that I fell in love with when I first smelt it. It reminded me of lemon cheesecake, so sort of a creamy lemony smell. The only down side was that I couldn’t smell it for long, although other people commented on the lovely smell.

This, on my skin, smells exactly like Lanvin’s Eclat d’Arpege. It’s more fresh and lemony while Eclat is more green, but the difference is minimal. It’s a perfect fragrance for the summer heat.

This works really well with my chemistry and smells amazing on my skin. Also has great longevity and sillage.

This smells musty. Like an old musty place that has been shut up with no clean air. I dont get anything clean or crisp from this. I keep catching wiffs of it & thinking what is that musty old smell. I had to wash it off. I cant deal with smelling funky all day.

This was a blind buy for me. I fell in love with the campaign: sun-drenched afternoons lounging in the bright blue Sicilian waters. It reminded me of my childhood summers and my travels. I was so inspired and enamored by the ad that I had to buy the biggest bottle available online. What a mistake! The scent itself is beautiful, and is exactly what you would expect the commercials to smell like. Clean, vibrant citrus on a woody bed. Not masculine smelling, but very fresh. So fresh that if you smell dirty, you can spray this and smell like you just got out of the shower again. I get a powdery green apple too that is slightly sweet. Can’t imagine wearing this any time but the hottest summer day. However, my skin chemistry rejected this so badly that it became a scrubber within the first minute. Terrible toilet cleaning product smell. On my skin it still smelled smelled fresh, but slightly rotten in the background like someone put air freshener in a bathroom. The cedar and the lemon was just awful on my skin. The cedar took over and it smelled just like an all-purpose cleaner or detergent with ammonia in it. Just horrendous. Didn’t smell like a perfume, smelled like I was cleaning my bathtub all day. My coworker however was wearing a gorgeous scent the other day. It was so fresh and juicy. I asked her what she was wearing, and was shocked to know it was Light Blue. My mother also tried this fragrance, and it smells absolutely lovely on her. It smells just like in the bottle. Pure summer, blue waters and fresh air. So sad it didn’t work on my skin, it would have been such a magic smell. My bottle is still pretty much full, and all I could do with the scent is spray it in my room or pillow (which defeats the purpose, it just becomes an air freshener). If anyone is in love with this perfume, I would be happy to sell my bottle or swap it! Sadly it doesn’t work with my chemistry.

Wow these failure blind buys just drives me nuts. Watching so many reviews from the internet and listening like yeah great. Then I buy it and it smells like crap.
Maybe this is old because I bought it used. My mistake but this has got nothing good in it so I don`t think I would like it fresh anyway.

Everyone has smelled this, it’s the new king of modern bestselling lemon fragrances. If you’ve never smelled Light Blue then you must live under a rock. There is just as much cedar in this as there is lemon, giving it real texture. It’s a “light” summer scent with big sillage that lasts and lasts and lasts. It has the nice effect of kicking up the volume when you start to sweat. It’s sparkling, always reminds me of a can of 7Up. This was to the early 2000s what cKone was to the 90s… everywhere and everyone wore it. Very refreshing and people will ask what you’re wearing mostly because they recognize it.

This is the kind of scent I would have died for around 2000, but my taste has developed. The opening is sweeter than the drydown, probably that is why I skipped it. Nice, likeable, for summer everyday use.

The apple note is what sells this one, very sharp and fresh. With a ton of citrus notes, Light Blue was last summer’s scent for me. Although it smells really clean, it doesn’t set you apart from the crowd. It’s almost forgettable. Though if you want a lighthearted scent that makes you feel fresh, this one is for you. It’s also very inoffensive..I used to pour myself in it because the sillage and longevity weren’t that strong on my skin. Reminds me of Beautiful Day from B&BW.

I use my 2nd one, but it will be the last. I really hate that smell it has in the opening, it is like rotten fruits. After the drydown it is lighter and not that bad, but it is not as good as I thought.
When my friend uses it, it smells quite good, but in that case, I don’t smell the opening.
I think it’s not only for women, it is a unisex fragrance for me.

The opening spray gave off that sour, tangy lemon scent that made me go “what was I thinking?” I had tested it previously and I thought then the scent was light and sweet so when I had the opportunity to buy it at a cheaper price somewhere else I seized the moment and bought it. This shop didn’t have a tester but I thought it wouldn’t have mattered. When I sniffed it from the spray it smelt like it was off but I then sprayed it into the air to let the perfume out. I sprayed onto my arm so I could test it and the lemon and apple notes came out really strong but with the dry down the cedar notes softened the tartness of those fruit notes. There is a hint of floral but the lemon scent dominates the fragrance. I probably would have liked this but the opening spray of that sour citric lemon tartness did turn me off.
