Poor performance. What a price tag. I don’t applaud the artists here. Total ripoff

Nice unisex scent for summer daytime. Quite generic but pleasant. It is similar to Calvin Klein CK One Summer 2015 which I own. The lemon and the gin are more vivid in CK. This Frapin is a little smoother.
Dominant notes are lemon, gin and juniper. Simple, pleasant and generic. Performance is moderate overall which is better than CK One 2015.

This is my first niche fragrance and I’m very impressed with this scent. The similarities to Allure Homme Blanche are sure noticeable. L’Humaniste smells more cleaner and crisper. It also has a sparkly and slightly boozy quality to it. For the first 45min after spraying you get a lemon margarita smell. After the first 45 minutes the spices and tonka bean come in to balance out the citrus’s. This scent ends up smelling like a sweet creamy lemon margarita. If that makes any sense. Overall L’Humaniste remains a linear fragrance. Projection is average but the sillage is fantastic. The only bad thing about this fragrance is the longevity. I get around 4-5 hours on my skin. I give this fragrance a 9/10. Also If you do some hunting online. You can get this fragrance for under retail. I got a 100ml for 130.

It’s nothing like hair spray smell.
It is one of the most uplifting and refreshing fragrances ever made.
In fact, is my most complimented fragrance in the summer. More than MI or NIO, for example.
    Women dig fo this.

Dont understand the love for this. Try before you buy in my opinion. Most fragrances that have alot of love I will relate to but this jusst not one of those. I dont know if possibly the bottle went bad but I get mostly an old hair spray smell. That was my first impressions. Slowly I have come to like it but only a little bit. I find that does happen with some niche fragrances. It just doesn’t seem to be coming around for me and I cant recommend this. Really tried to like this.

A jaw dropping marvel of modern masculine perfumery, this radiant spicy citrus woody fougere is one reason to forget your much used bottle of Aventus. The perfume begins off with a citrusy peppery burst of lemon, bergamot, cardamom, pink pepper and black pepper. As it begins to settle, one gets notes of juniper berries, nutmeg, thyme and peony. Finally as it settles, a boozy mossy powdery base of gin, oak moss and tonka is revealed. Unique, haunting, uplifting and revealing every note included in beautiful layer after layer this is a safe and very appealing juice. The amazingly high average score on Fragrantica (almost as close to Aventus) is an indication of how well loved and appealing this is. Enjoy!

Compliments like crazy. However only for around the first hour.
Such a beautiful scent, so sharp and refreshing. Like a dose of cocaine, no one will find this repulsive.
If only longevity could be better, oh well still a great one!

Definitely has Allure Homme dna in it. Don’t understand the hype. It’s fine, but nothing to write home about

What a classy scent, masculine aromatic and spicy and at all time stays close to the skin. it has a vibrant start of Amalfi lemon, bergamot and cardamom that brilliantly support one another. About 10-15 minutes later, the scent becomes more subtle with the peony, juniper berries, oakmoss and tonka becoming prominent. Not a suit and tie fragrance in my opinion, but very nice to wear in a business casual setting or when simply in jeans.

  10. :

The wonderfully named L’Humaniste is a well-finished woody-spicy scent with intense boozy citrus facets. The opening is all about the lemon, bergamot and pink pepper. In the heart, crisp gin and tart juniper berries become prominent, lasting into the dry down. The base is mainly woody-faceted nutmeg with a dash of oak moss. It leans masculine, and although it’s very approachable, it doesn’t come across as too generic. Sillage is soft and and longevity average.
Overall, L’Humaniste a lightly effervescent, transparent, gin-soaked wood scent. It’s classy and refined, but very much on the expensive side for what it offers.

  11. :

    5 out of 5

L’Humaniste has gorgeous opening, with blast of juniper berry/gin with light citrus background all-around sweet and aromatic. When mid comes around I get vetiver and pink pepper added to the mix while the citrus is gone. With drydown I get faintly oakmoss and juniper berry.
Yup, this makes me happy pretty much every time I wear this and look like a dummy constantly burying my nose to my arm to get better wafts of it and having this grin in my face afterwards.
I would love if L’Humaniste had better longevity, it is moderate and with decent sillage. From opening I would have thought it would stay longer and project way more but it does tame rather quickly, at times on very hot days I wonder if this could get bit unbearable if it’s put on rather heavily. As more of a bright scent it does great in summer and has enough meat to it to work in spring also. It has nice balance of bright and herbal feel and some sweetness so it doesn’t get that dry feeling that doesn’t seem to work well with me.
L’Humaniste has grown on me, from ok to great and now I’m starting to think if I’d eventually like to have bottle of this around as I haven’t yet found anything that has same kind of feeling as this.

Totally masculine cologne. It’s all about the juniper, lime, pepper and oakmoss. Dry, citrus and herbal. Low on projection and longevity as most Frapins are.

  13. :

Smells absolutely delicious. Might not be the longest lasting around or a projection beast but this one is too good to pass up.

  14. :

L’Humaniste sparkles and fizzes with opening notes of lemon and bergamot that refresh and uplift. Pink and black peppers give an edge to the bright citruses.
With aromatic heart notes of juniper berries, nutmeg and thyme, L’Humaniste is refined, cooling and androgynous.
Gin, oakmoss and tonka bean settle in the base notes to create the illusion of a refreshing gin and tonic.

At a company meeting last summer where tension was high, opinions were divided and tempers flared, one of my colleagues came to me after the ordeal and said “you know, that meeting did not go well at all, but at least you smelled good!” I rarely received compliments on the fragrances I wore to work, and certainly did not expect one at such an awkward situation. Needless to say, it made my day. And there I was a few days after the disaster; instead of mapping out solutions to corporate problems I was deciphering the magic tricks of Frapin L’Humaniste.
To me, it wasn’t just a simple compliment. It conveyed a message to me that meant L’Humaniste had the potential powers to save a catastrophe of epic proportions. And it was this very notion that biased my profound affection towards this potion, wishing that it could save me from chaos once again.
It’s easy to dismiss L’Humaniste because it sounds like your typical fresh and citrus kind of fragrance which can often be interpreted as boring. But I urge you not to judge the book by its cover in this case as you may discover pleasant surprises. The opening of lemon and bergamot are intertwined with spicy notes of cardamom, pink pepper and black pepper. The combination is subtly vibrant and alarming like bird whistles outside your window on a beautiful Sunday morning, waking you up unexpectedly. Thankfully, the peppery nuances do not go away entirely, and start to mingle with a dominant presence of juniper. Juniper has a pine-like quality that is green and sharp, which could become a little harsh if not used sparingly, especially combining it with peppers. But, no such atrocity here as the juniper is masterfully balanced with something floral that is lurking underneath the vibrancy; the soft and delicate peony. It adds an undeniably tender and mellow character to a masculine concoction that could easily be appreciated by a woman. However, the biggest surprise of L’Humaniste (drum roll please……..) is gin. This explains why I’m getting hints of booziness in the air making the entire experience feel as if I’m enjoying a Mojito. In fact, I think this fragrance captures the very essence of a Mojito flawlessly. Maybe this shouldn’t be as much of a surprise because Frapin makes fine cognac after all, and a bottle of L’Humaniste has their fine craftsmanship and quality written all over it.
No matter where you are in your fragrance quest, let L’Humaniste stop you in your tracks and indulge yourself in this exquisite blend of a cocktail without losing your driver’s license along the way.

like other Mrs.sidonie perfumes smell amazing but this one really fade away very soon. on my skin last only 3 hours and after that hard to detect. best fresh lemonade scent but doesn’t really worth on this price.6/10

I got a small sample of this stuff and was very impressed. Probably one of my favorite fresh scents that I have tried thus far. This and Aventus are probably in my top 3. I hear the performance is really bad but for some reason with this sample the performance is pretty decent for a fresh scent. I wonder why this sample seems stronger than what people are giving it credit for? Is it possible perhaps I have a certain older batch or a special formulation? Judging from this sample I would have to say
    Scent 5/5
    Longevity 4/5
    Projection 3.5/5

Of the Frapin house, I’ve only tried Speakeasy previously so the very fresh, aromatic L’Humaniste is really a breath of fresh air. It’s a mix of citrus and spice, mainly–a cocktail of bergamot, lemon, pepper, and cardamom. I don’t get much evolution into a drydown. Sure, the gin/juniper aspect is there, but very slightly. Overall, L’Humaniste is very much dominated by the opening notes.
Even at its FragranceNet-discounted price of $115 for 100ml, L’Humaniste is unusually weak for an EDP-concentrated niche-priced fragrance. If the fragrance were, say, half that price, I’d probably buy it without question since it’s a very pleasant warm-weather composition that seems to have a variety of uses in the warm weather, wherein performance should not be as much of an issue.
I like it a lot but the price is difficult to justify.

This to me is pretty much Chanel Allure pour Homme, I had both on my wrists (one on each) and they are so similar. A nice fresh citrus aromatic scent; Chanel lasts longer though and perhaps a touch sweeter.

Strangely I think this smells similar to Dunhill Desire. To me, this is flat sprite, so Desire would be a flat apple soda

it smells good – but not worth the hype. I think it smells a lot like chanel allure sport.

A bright bergamot and juniper opening with a hint of a seasoned lemon. Five minutes or so in and the juniper ferments itself to gin. A glorious gin I WISH existed!
For a fleeting moment I was put in mind of Clive Christian’s “L”. Not so much because they smell like replicas of each other, but there is a similar feel to the way the citrus transitions into the next phase. Where L’Humaniste moves towards spice, L’s movement is in the direction of wood.
After L’Humaniste has been at home on my skin for a while it begins to reveal its sexiness. It’s not necessarily a carnal type of sexy, but rather a more editorial version. A beautifully shot photograph of an ideal masculine form. Immaculately clean and well-chiselled.

Sidonie Lancesseur has created one of the best fresh fragrances of all time.
Although it is not very original, likeness of Allure Edition Blanche is obvious, the parfumeur managed to bring an improvement to the Chanel perfume exactly in the manner in which Dior Homme Intense brought the classic Dior Homme – even overall it is not a higher quality product than this one, it has some high class overtones – due juniper berries and cardamom that, as ingredients, are more elegant compared to vanilla and vetiver and creates a finer “cream” feeling.
I can not but notice the fact that in L’Humaniste I find the noble scent of peony flower – the source of inspiration of Sidonie Lancesseur was, probably, not only Edition Blanche, but also the classic Pour Monsieur EDT because the combination of citrus-cardamom- peony- oak moss is best highlighted in this masterpiece.
L’Humaniste weaknesses are due by it’s longevity and the drydown notes – that are the price paid by perfumer to keep the scent very fresh and to highlight the brand heritage – I am sure that if the perfumer would not have certain constraints related to the brand aesthetics (Frapin sells alcoholic beverages), a base incorporating more woody notes would have helped a lot both the longevity and the way of how it smells in the drydown.
    Fragrance 9/10

Man this stuff smells so good. Quite possibly one of the best scents I have ever smelled for a spring/summer type fragrance.
There’s only one problem…for the price, it only lasts two hours which is strictly unacceptable to me.
    10/10 smell
    4/10 performance
    Overall 7/10
To me, on skin, there’s a very close alternative that’s less expensive, still niche, and lasts much much longer and that’s Olfactive Studios – Still Life

    Just imagine:
Summer, sunny morning, a deck chair on a green grass that smells fresh and freshly cut, next to a terse and proud peonies do get their smell, faces a sparkling pool and next to a gin and tonic with ice, lots of lemon and the rim of the glass sealing cocktail with sugar and a slice of lemon holding that edge. Come, rest dreamed Warrior !!
    For just smells L’humaniste.
To give you an idea I smell something very similar to Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, but with a more quality.
The aroma is good qualities above designer but not excellent, very versatile and very commercial. However I find it too linear, so it might be a bit boring and tiresome with continued use.
On the other hand, projects well for a couple of hours after low and is attached flush skin as soft powdery musk, duration is moderate to low (point against) so you have to overcoat every two or three hours.

Great fresh citrus opening. The Juniper mixed with the lemon smells musky on my skin and makes is interesting and not flat. This smells classy and comfortable.
If only there were an (actual) EDP version of this, it would be a great go to pick for summer. Projection and longevity are fairly weak, however.

  30. :

The creamy cardamon in this really reminds me of Carner Barcelona D600, and then the pink pepper/citrus tonka smell is similar to Allure Homme Edition Blanche, really great scent.
Opens up wih a very bright lemon vibe with that gin/juniper berry smell which kind of blends in with the lemon to the stage where it just adds more realistic sourness to the lemon rather than smelling like alcohol as such. It then dries down and the cardamon comes out a lot, with the creamy smell coming from tonka bean. Really great smelling fragrance, seems very potent by how shiny it looks on skin for a long time but the performance isn’t so great, however it’s a very fresh scent so it’d work well in summer heat.

Gin & tonic anyone?!?! Awesome summer scent!

  32. :

    3 out of 5

L’humaniste is a great fragrance; a few notations: you get citrus and sweetness in the beginning drydown….reminds me of Dreamer in the very beginning; Also, the opening is that of Pal Zaleri after the Dreamer similarity fades. This is a great fragrance for both male and female. Overall, a nice and very straightforward fragrance.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

    great!
Reminds me of a nice cold mojito on a hot summer day

  34. :

    3 out of 5

A decent, practical, daytime scent that is unlikely to offend anyone. I thought it was alright, perhaps a little too ‘barbershop’ for my liking, but my girlfriend absolutely loved it on me – however it seems the performance on this one, as well as The Orchid Man (which smelt fantastic to my nose) is simply not up to par. For over $200 AUD a bottle, a few hours of longevity really isn’t good enough.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

    Gin & Tonic…
A beautiful fragrance. Authentic and real in it’s portrayal of citrus and booze. I really like this one. For me I get good projection in the first few hours. After about five or six hours it is completely gone though. I can’t deny it has a lovely smell.L’Humaniste opens with a dominant citrus and juniper berry note… this makes way through to gin with a slice of lemon, on a bed of other herbs and soft woods. There is some pepper (which I like) and eventually a tonka bean and background soft vetiver feel (although I don’t fully pick it up).
Also, this fragrance does remind me of Chanel – Allure Homme Edition Blanche. I find the Chanel has more depth and development though… especially with the creamy vanillic/tonak bean base. L’Humaniste I feel is like a “summertime” version of that other fragrance, whereas that one can be worn year round. So I would advise people to try out this Frapin fragrance in the spring and summer, to get the most out of it.
Overall, I would recommend this one. If you like fresh citruses with interesting depth. If you like boozy fragrances, then try this out for sure. It’s my first from the house of Frapin, and I like it!

The lemon smell on the open is fantastic. Like many have pointed out below though, before you can really start to immerse yourself in this fragrance it is gone. Poof! And for the cost of L’Humaniste, your paycheck will go poof. There are so many other great fragrances that smell great, will cost you less and will last longer. Spend wisely my friends.

The flat lemon soda note can be off-putting when it pops up but it is otherwise an excellent fragrance.

  38. :

Seriously though, how this scent gets such poor reputation for performance is beyond me. Longevity, sillage and all that stuff are more than adequate IMO.
A great scent, my top 10 all-time fave.

  39. :

    3 out of 5

As we all know, this smell is amazing! The performance is a joke tho, there is no way around it. I would only buy L’Humaniste for fun. Maybe you could do a couple of sprays on your shirt. But still i feel like this is made for us perfume nerds. Iguess the price is high, but it could be alot worse like Invasion Barbare.

This Fragrance is killer. I wore this today because, in Hollywood, CA. The weather is still warm, mid 80s i would say. I got a sample of this at Lucky Scent. For some reason I love the idea of Alcohol drinks in fragrances. Im a Gin drinker and would absolutely say this is going to be my favorite scent to wear for the warmer days. This performed great, Sillage was okay not too much. I sprayed it on at 9:00am and i still smell it on my skin. I will definitely wear this fragrance for laid back events and just wear around the office.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

All I can say is that from a first impressions of this fragrance it smells amazing. The opening smells like a suped up niche quality version of versace pour homme with more depth. Its fresh but it has an awesome mesh of notes that smells fantastic. Its just an amazing smell. I am sad to hear people complain about longevity and projection problems.. that is a real shame. I can’t comment on that since this is just a first impressions, but someone needs to remake this scent exactly the same and UP the performance if the rumors are true.

  42. :

    *spritz spritz*
    “Wow! This smells great…”
    *sniff sniff*
    “…aaaannnnd it’s gone.”
Seriously, if the longevity and projection were improved, I would wear this all the time. Unfortunately, I can’t justify the price for this performance. What a great opening though.

It’s like 3/4 Bleu de Chanel and 1/4 La Nuit – but is a lot smoother and juicier than they are. Smells like a designer fragrance, but a really sophisticated mature well done one. Very versatile and wearable. Would buy.

Also it smells really really good 🙂 Like 7 up and lemons.

Just to update my initial review id like to say ive come back to sampling this scent now in the cooler 50-60 degree weather. And now I do get the 7up/sprite vibe. Although if I had to be specific its a already drinken cold metal CAN of 7up. One that only the faint mist of the cola is left in it. The colder weather really helped my nose relate it to this smell, as it gave the notes a metallic tinge that I “got” now. Where as in the summer all I got was boring lemon bomb for the most part.
That being said I would also like to say this was not just at the top, but this lasted the entire 8-10 hours of the fragrance on me as well. Granted its a skin scent but at least for longevity ive never had a problem with anything from frapin…
Whatever the case, I still dont feel its worth the hype, however I do appreciate it more. As the extra novelty factor of it makes it more interesting to me. And it certainly smells better to me at least in cold weather. Go figure.

L’Humaniste has to be one of the most aptly named fragrances in the history of perfumery.
Opening with the freshness of citrus lightly dusted with pink pepper, the fragrance offers an aura of sophistication and class. Unlike many contemporary offerings, it is not at all overpowering, and even might be described as light and transparent. What a few others describe as poor projection comes across instead as gentlemanly and agreeable. When the wearer and those in his company catch a whiff of L’Humaniste, its subtle complexity stimulates the intellect.
    L’Humaniste: A gentleman AND a scholar.
    Very well done.

    Nice spicy edible fresh scent.
It sets itself apart from other scents in the same genre thanks to its edible “boozy” characteristics.
Cardamom, citrus and juniper berries stand out the most on my skin.
It almost has the Declaration DNA but it’s more modern, edgy and fruity.
Longevity and projection certainly can be better, but i like the way it envelopps the skin regardless.
Good, nice, lovely but not full bottle worthy for me.

  48. :

I had received my 2ML sample today. This fragrance has been compared to Edition Blanche by Chanel but I only see a 15% comparison. Both start off with a very lemony, citrusy vibe. Edition Blanche is very in your face potent lemon pepper but L’Humaniste is a really nice gentle amalfi lemon blended with cardamom & bergamot. L’humaniste mids still consist of a amalfi lemon vibe mixed with the mids like the juniper berries & thyme. The mids also bring out the Gin. The Gin comes through like a ton of bricks. The drydown will give you Gin & Soft amalfi lemon. It is an extremely pleasing drydown and will definitely please people around you… That’s if they can pick up the SOFT projection and poor longevity.
    9/10
edit: Drydown is near exactly the same as Abercrombie & Fitches Fierce

  49. :

    5 out of 5

This is one of those fragrances where I instantly fell in love with it from the moment I smelled it on a paper strip.
To me it smells like a summer cocktail, even though I find it suitable to wear in winter/colder months as well because of its powderiness. I’d say it’s a mojito but instead of lime and mint, it has lemon and juniper.
In the opening it starts out with lemon, juniper and booziness (so gin, apparently). The peppers (pink, black and cardamom) aren’t harsh in the composition, but they do give it the extra kick. The scent quickly becomes slightly powdery (in a good way) due to the peony coming into play. When it dries down, the lemon takes a step back so you’re left with a slightly powdery juniper cocktail.
Despite what others state, on me the longevity is pretty nice. About 8 hours I’d say. The fragrance becomes a skin scent rather fast however, so the projection is not all that great. But that doesn’t really bother me all that much 🙂
Last but not least, Fragrantica is the only website where I see L’Humaniste categorised as a men’s fragrance instead of unisex. No idea why, this can most certainly be worn by a lady as well!

  50. :

    4 out of 5

Maybe my sample some of the top notes are gone, but sadly I got no fizzy, champagne, 7up opening. Which I really was looking forward to. Lots of lemon, some gin and tonic, and I do agree with a couple of the reviews that it does have a slight resemblance to fierce at the bottom. But its covered by just a ton of lemon.
I didnt have as extreme longevity issues as others have mentioned. Especially considering that people wear creed stuff, this is half the price, and I can get about 7-8 hours out of this. Although admittedly it does sit very close to the skin.
Just nice, and not worth the hype imho

  51. :

    4 out of 5

Possibly one of the most fleeting fragrances I have ever encountered. If you think about the longevity of this at its price point its probably a $500 price tag. I have had body sprays last longer than this thing.
The opening is gorgeous one of the best I have ever encountered in a fresh fragrance. It smells so natural and alluring and then you sniff, and sniff, and sniff and it is gone. I split a few bottles of this a few years ago and was glad when someone swapped out a rather large decant for a Rose 31 decant.
Overall I would say if I could get 3 hours out of this I would pay maybe $85…maybe.
All the creed haters dismiss M.I and SMW because of their supposed lack of longevity….look at the other reviews here this is by far worse!

  52. :

Magical, although you’ ll get a familiar sense. Women love it. Definately, a perfume that you have to smell before you die (if you like lemons, of course…)!

  53. :

    4 out of 5

The opening of this fragrance is wonderful with it’s cocktail of gin, lemon and juniper which smells very nice indeed. It quickly becomes more peppery and then starts to smell like Cartier’s Declaration to my nose.
After a hour it’s a skin scent and more and less gone by the second hour.
The problem with this scent for me is that it’s wonderful for twenty minutes or so then it starts to smell like another fragrance. And the longevity is awful.
I would recommend Cartier’s Declaration over this as you get several hours or more.

  54. :

    4 out of 5

The smell itself is very well done, a great citrus with some light alcoholic notes (or maybe I’m biased reading the notes here). It gets a little powdery after some time, but that doesn’t ruin it at all. It reminds me of Allure Blanche, but this is more transparent, without the gourmandish notes.
Now what does ruin it for me is the longevity and projection. It gets very faint after the 2nd or 3rd hour and at this time I can barely smell it, even if I bury my nose to the skin.
It’s a very refreshing and pleasant scent, but it’s too expensive for what it gives me, I think.Overall: 3/5

A great scent to wear during the spring and summer, L’Humaniste opens up with a bright, effervescent fizziness reminiscent of a gin ‘n tonic with a good twist of lemon in the mix. But this one remains a perfume first and foremost, and avoids the typical pitfall of many ‘booze-based’ fragrances, that is, that you end up smelling like an alcoholic or someone who had a drink spilled on himself. The gin adds a unique element to L’Humaniste, but never becomes overbearing. After a while, a creamy quality (similar to Allure Homme Edition Blanche) comes into play with the lemons and the heart of L’Humaniste remains like this for several hours; an aromatic and creamy blend of citrus notes and gin. All in all, L’Humaniste is a quality fragrance with a unique character that still manages to have a potentially popular, mass-market appeal. In other words, it smells good, and not just weird or like something you’d wear maybe once or twice a year when you’re feeling sassy. It’s gotten some complaints for smelling “generic,” but those complaints mainly seem to come from people who don’t like appealing, fresh citrus fragrances to begin with…so who cares?
One issue of contention that pops up again and again with L’Humaniste is its longevity. Reports vary greatly. I typically get 8 to 10 solid hours with it, though others report less than 2. While I’m not sure why this is the case, my recommendation would be to test it out in the store if possible to see how it performs on you. I don’t know if the longevity issues are based on batch variations, skin chemistry, or bad samples being passed around, but whatever the case, there seems to be inconsistency regarding its longevity.
2 thumbs way up for this winner from Frapin.

The opening smells a bit similar to air-freshner. The lemon is quite strong. It doesn’t smell like a refreshing zingy lemon you would like to eat, but instead is rather sharp and chemical. There is an almost quinine-like tartness to it before I start to detect the faint nutmeg and tonka bean.
It’s not awful, but if you really want a quality gin fragrance, I would advise “Gin Fizz” by Lubin. Much better composition, more emphasis on the floral but still has an invigorating fizziness and a strong juniper note.
One thing “L’Humanist” and “Gin Fizz” have in common though is that they’re both very fleeting. Gone after 30 minutes.

I had this fragrance for a year now.
First of all, it smells great – it’s a citrusy, semi- sweet, gin scent with some warmness to it.
It’s great all year round but obviously best for spring. It’s slightly too thick for very hot and humid days.
Perfect for spring days and summer nights. Longevity also improves if you don’t wear it in high heat.

    Beautiful. Subtle.
Not my thing though. I have less class and prefer some violence and humor in my perfumes.
If only I could afford to have my car wear this perfume … now that would be nice

Sorry but Armani code sport ATHLETE, is much cheaper and synthetic than this. More generic too.
This is too subtle and natural smell.
The note og Gin is light but smell so good.
Longevity is moderate-low and sillage too low.
    scent: 6/10
    longevity: 5/10
    sillage: 3/10

Smells amazing in the first 15 minutes.
Smells okay in the next 45 minutes… and then its inevitably gone.
Usually I don’t find projection or longevity important, but I’m going to make an exception here because it’s particularly abysmal. Combine it with the summer heat it was designed for and you’d be lucky to get an hour of performance out of this one.

I finally got to sample this and I have to say it doesn’t deserve all the hype these YouTube reviewers give it. Yeah its good, but its like a designer scent with a niche price and I guess niche quality. Barley. It resembles Original penguin. I’d actually prefer Penguin, it la
