This smells like Nuit de Cellophane. Sorry, that’s probably not helpful. The notes list vs what I actually smell in this perfume is so disconcerting. I was expecting something gourmand? I mean.. almond, cinnamon, vanilla? Well, I do not smell vanilla or cinnamon. I think I maybe smell almond but it’s definitely not of the marzipan variety.
Having never encountered coffee blossom, I had to look up what it’s supposed to smell like. Indications are it smells like jasmine. Having read this, it lends credence to my perception of a similarity to Nuit de Cellophane.. though it’s a very, very clean jasmine-like smell.
Overall this fragrance is floral and refreshing. Not necessarily soapy, but reminiscent of shampoo.
I think I may end up swapping this. If only because it’s so far from what I expected when I (blindly) bought it. Also because I kinda like my white florals to be dirty.
