Description
Two new limited edition summer fragrances for 2013 from Issey Miyake, L’Eau d’Issey and L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme, are bringing exotic fruity scents. The creator of these new flankers is Alberto Morillas.
L’Eau d’Issey Pour L’Ete 2013 captures attention with fruity-sour notes of pink grapefruit and litchi in the top, and guava and passion fruit in the heart. There are also aquatic flowers, complemented by the base of vanilla and exotic woods.
The perfume bottles retain the original shapes of the line. The feminine one is decorated with a stylized motif of guava, and the masculine one features kiwi. Available as 100 ml Eau de Toilette (for women) and 125 ml Eau de Toilette (for men).

Hands down my all time favorite perfume! Thank god for the internet and online purchases, the thought of it being limited edition to 2013 and never being able to purchase again would suck!! Perfect for summer!

On my skin it smells like fruit salad in a lunchbox, way to sweet for summerdays yet not the kind of parfume you want to wear in winter. I gave it away because I wouldnt know what to do with it…yup more than a bad fragrance it is a useless fragrance.

Finally tested this one and on my skin it smells like rotten fruit, like overripe guava or kiwi or something. It doesnt smell fresh at all. Being a huge fan of L’eau D’Issey I was surprised at how weird this smells. Ill pass on this one.

This smells like a sundress, a picnic and a balmy breeze…I love it! Very fresh, fruity coming out of the bottle, dries down with a tropical verdant fragrace.
Recha – :
Very nice and long lasting.

I tried it yesterday and I like it, it is very refreshing, but not limonade sweet, there is a pretty guava note, the scent is bordering on fruity with some sweetness, I would definitely wear something like that!!

Fruit Salad!!
I didn’t realised that when I sprayed it, to me VERY citrusy and refreshing, summery and cool. Great for hot weather.
But on a lunch with a friend she served herself a big bowl of fruit salad and it smelled like this perfume. Very fruity and refreshing.
To be honest, just what you expect looking at the bottle.
I would deffinitelly purchase it if I was going to spen a long period of time in a warm climate, but its not the case 🙁

I’ve sampled this in store. Can’t say I agree with the notes listed, the florals and exotic woods come through most for me. Its very summery though and I really want it. Suits my odd skin chemistry too!

In store, people are going crazy over both the summer Issey for women and for men. It’s a very nice fruity aquatic. Somewhat more prominent of a fruity tone than citrus, in comparison to 2011, but just as good. Beautiful blue bottles to go with the scent; gives it the resemblance of the juice mirroring a splash of fruit in an ocean. Can’t get enough of the summer. I wish they came out with an aquatic like this or of 2011 that was a pillar scent (preferably more like 2011, because many people still look for it, including myself. Yet to see the reaction on an even wider scale as time goes by and more people smell it).

UPDATE.I just received this fragrance today it had been on back order.I was so excited to get this fragrance because I love passion fruit, lychee and guava and this sounded so juicy and perfect for summer. However,I was extremely disappointed. It is not a horrible fragrance but the perfume smells nothing like the notes listed.I smell no fruit at all not even a little. It dries down to a soft woody aquatic smell within 5 mins of spraying. It smells like the original l’eau d’issey eau de toilette put in a summery bottle.I get a strong smell of chlorinated water from a swimming pool. Its possible that its just my skin type not reacting well to this fragrance and that it would smell better in hot weather. Its still cold where I live and my skin is dry but there is something about this perfume that smells like chemicals and makes me feel sick.I will be sending this back andsaving the 80.00 dollars I spent on this.In my opinion buy the original instead. This really is a waste of money. There are many better summer scents out there for a lot cheaper.I would rather wear miami glow than this swimming pool water in a bottle. As for the vanilla in this perfume I smell none.Oh well, your not going to love them all.Maybe this could work on the right person but for me this was hairspray and chlorinated pool water in a pretty summer bottle.I guess I’m just a sucker for pretty packaging. To others who dare to try this GOOD LUCK!
