The most dominant note I (quite surprisingly) get from this one is very sweet and fresh pear. Along come the other fruits, jasmine and a hint of patchouli. The drydown is very sweet pear syrup with a touch of vanilla.
I do think this is a very sweet scent and I can easily understand why some might see this as overly sweet. I don’t usually like fruit syrupy scents either.
But since I somehow manage to find a very clear fresh pear note in this one, which for me in it’s uniqueness justifies all the sweetness and at the same time makes the sweetness so fresh and fruity, I have to say I really like this. Pure joy in a bottle.
I like this better than the original Le Parfum, since this one does not take itself so seriuosly and is so much more playful and flirty.
My “sweet and fresh pear note” just might be white florals mixed with the red fruits (mentioned in the description, pear not being exactly a red fruit..) and vanilla, who knows, but since it almost screams pear to me, I will maintain my view. I just wonder if anyone else gets any pear notes from this one?

BEAUTIFUL! What a way to do a flanker. Now on the list of my favorite scents of all time. Another on my list is Kelly Caleche by Hermes. If you like the original, try it, you won’t regret it.

Let’s begin with the basic information about Elie Saab in White: it has decent projection and it lasts very well on skin. Of course it fits the Elie Saab line perfectly as a flanker. I’m not sure though that it could replace the initial wedding perfume , but on the other hand, I bet a good amount of brides worldwide would love to wear a sweet fruity floral on their wedding day.
The opening is too fruity, too sweet, too much raspberry- berry- idc what red fruit is that…, I wasn’t expecting so much of a red fruit blast in the opening, or in the perfume at all. It is a lot close to Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. Too damn sweet and not in the best way possible.
Giving it some time to develop you’ll start smelling a good woodsy medicinal backing of patchouli. By now it’s a woodsy-fruity scent along the lines of Tresor Midnight Rose. It’s not bad at all, it’s just not what I was expecting looking at the bottle.
After an hour or so there is a sweet powdery orange blossom just like the one I get from Classique, accompanied by some jasmine. The white floral headiness is emerging. Beautiful sweet fruity white floral rendition for brides who seek a sweeter, more contemporary white floral bridal perfume. Better and more easily worn in the colder weather and all – time appropriate. More fruity floral than chypre fruity.

I have no idea why this Elie Saab collection doesn’t work for me at all. On paper, the notes look good; however, on my skin this explodes into an artificial sweet-fruity scent of chewing gums, or gummy bears, or tic-tac, and such. It’s like one of those Malizia BonBons scents for kids. As the scent develops I begin to get whiffs of orange blossom and patchouli; alas, I can’t get past that horrible opening.

Patchouli and linden tea. That is all I smell in this one. And a kind of sickly sweet. Not one for me. Got it as a sample when I bought another perfume in one of the big department stores.

Very, very nice white flowers parfum. In the beginning it is so womanity,so delisious. It remind me the end of the summer, when the whether is not so hot,but very pleasant. It is a little yammy parfum, but not like Scandal/JPG/,it is like milky ice-cream with red berries jam on it.

One of the most creamy and milky orange blossom fragrance that I have ever tested, as if there is also coconut milk added to the juice from the opening. The dry down maintains the DNA of Elie Saab Le Parfum, with the softest jasmine on a fresh base of minty patchouli and sweet berry amber, if that makes sense. Its opening is definitely different than the rest of the line for sure, with such a great entrance. I love it so much and actually prefer it over the original Le Parfum EDP (the first place is still for my beloved Le Parfum EDP Intense).
When we renew our wedding vow, I wanna wear this flanker Elia Saab In White 🙂

Tested this one in my local perfume counter. Same orange blossom and honey where the Le Parfum’s DNA lies yet oh so feminine, sweet and light. Closest one for me is the Le Parfum EDT. Well crafted and balanced. I get mostly the orange blossom and jasmine enveloped with sweet sweet honey, red berries and amber completing the scent. I am convinced that I need this one in my life. Now I understand why this one is associated with a woman’s wedding day. It’s that scent that you want to get reminded of a perfect day, whether it be something grand of marrying the love of your life, of having a perfect spring afternoon lying lazily on the grass, to having fun in state fairs eating funnel cakes.

Love at first sniff!!! Genny17 gifted me a sample and it was FB worthy. Been wearing it for a few days and it’s ABSOLUTELY beautiful.

This smells exactly like Piz Buin and I love that!
Piz Buin is a sunscreen brand, I always bought it for the smell of it because it’s so amazing.
Me and a friend both smelled it at the same time and said the same thing… more confirmation for me 🙂
I don’t find it at all similar to the others from the range. Which I feel are extremely floral, so they feel more mature.
This one is younger, sweeter and sexier.

It reminds me something, but I’m not sure what. It’s some familiar scent from creams, shampoos… perhaps some drinks and creamy sweets? Gourmand, but not really.
This perfume is modern enough, but perhaps it was inspired by beautiful 80’s lady in light silk dressing gown and her photo is mysteriously blurred as they used to do.
It’s feminine, balsamic, creamy, silky, white, floral and slightly refreshing and sweetish. Bit spicy note balances out this floral. Mostly I feel jasmine and amber note, little bit orange blossom. Musk is in background. It’s slightly bitter and at least for me it have hint of some soft alcoholic cocktail. It’s clean perfume, but not exactly in a soapy way. Usually I dislike patchouli, but here it’s not that noticeable.

Beautiful perfume, I feel beautiful, I feel surrounded by a bed of flowers.
It’s not only projecting but it is beautiful and it all blends well.
I hope sometime in the distant future I can find a partner that I’ll be able to wear to my own wedding 🙁
    Beautiful pretty fragrance! 10/10!!

Surprise! What a great scent! Very addictive, floral-soft spicy and warm. Great sillage and longevity.

Sexy sweet and addictive! The orange blossoms and jasmine lie on a bed of almost syrupy vanilla and amber and the whole composition smells wonderful. It is a rich fragrance great for early spring but too sweet for summer.Sillage and longevity both outstanding. It is sweet but in a very refined way, White is suitable for any occasion where you want to be noticed and complimented on how great you smell.

  16. :

Very prominent red berries in the opening. After the scent settles I get mainly jasmine with amber and orange blossom but still being able to detect berries far in the background.
It’s sweet, but not in a sickly way. At some point I recognize original ES Le Parfum DNA. Le Parfum is one of those queens you can’t forget, but In White is sort of a pointless release if you ask me. It doesn’t stand out of the crowd of today’s fruity/floral releases such as Armani Si Passione etc. It doesn’t really smell bad but when I smell it it’s sort of a “Ok, but why?…” reaction. An absolute lack of originality.
    To me 5/10.

Elie Saab, you’ve done it again. I wish they would release a men’s range. I own the unisex range, but there’s nothing outstanding from that range other than the Rose.
The women’s range however is just constant beautiful scents being released, this one is possibly my favourite based on a quick sniff at the airport, I’ll have to give it another proper test when I return from my travels, but first impressions I was very impressed

Since I didn’t like any of the Saab fragrances, I wasn’t expecting much of it.
    But this fragrance is wonderful.
It does smell like JPG Classic Intense, but they are more like siblings than dupe.
JPG is the older sister, more mature, sexy and sweet.
In White is younger but not in a teenage way. It’s creamy and berry sweet, remind me of dryer sheets but in a good way.
I’ll surely buy this, since I couldn’t get enough of it after trying my sample.
I’ll keep the JPG for my early 30’s.

A strong floral perfume, the most dominant notes are jasmine and orange blossom. There is also sweet berry notes, that I like.
The whole thing is longlasting too.
Quite fine, but I like the original Le parfum better.

An instant like and after 5 minutes like turned into love. This fragrance to me is stunning and perfectly balanced. Just the right amount of sweetness to stop the jasmine from screaching and overpowering. The dry down is amazing. I’m obsessed with the smell. I agree with other reviewers this isn’t like your typical clean “white” fragrance. This beauty is so versatile and it will work well in all seasons day or night. I also see it suiting different age groups too.

This is based on my first and only test in a perfume shop:
I love Elie Saab perfumes.I was introduced to this brand but great jobs like le parfum, intense(which is one of my top ten favorites since I first tried it),couture, edt and resort2017.I love all mentioned ones.there was also the rose one,not at amazing as her sisters, still pretty.then there was Nuit Noor(which made me sick) and girl of now(which I could get along with.but didn’t like it enough to rush to buy a bottle).actually I was a bit nervous about the next elie saab offering.tonight when I saw the tester bottle of le parfum in white,I couldn’t wait to try it on my skin
When I first sprayed it,immediately three things came to my mind:1.it’s very veryyyy familiar 2.it’s my type but can easily be overwhelming for me if not lightly sprayed(and I’m usually into sillage monsters) 3.this isn’t a white scent for me
I couldn’t remember it’s notes in perfume shop.I guessed there’s jasmine and orange flower in it but more jasmine, something warm, sweet, deep and slightly powdery which I thought may be vanilla or amber, and a faint hint of something juicy and fruity which faded away fast and there was just a touch of something woodsy in background.Iright there I remembered why it’s so familiar.it smelled like 70% similar to Jean Paul Gaultier Classique intense(another perfume which I like a lot but can make me sick of a bit overdone).to my nose le parfum in white is a love child of JPG classique intense and elie saab le parfum.though I really like both of them,it didn’t seem like a good news for me as I have them so I didn’t see a point for buying in white, specially now that I’m broke and perfumes are more expensive than ever.I left the store without in white
But I couldn’t stop sniffing myself.those gorgeous white flowers with a hint of berry sparkle wrapped by deep honey like amber.mmmm.just so feminine,so elie saab, sexy and classy the same time and like most other elie saabs there’s amazing projection
Now it’s 5 am,my nose is glued to my hand and I’m still trying to sniff last residues of that quick spray of 8 hours ago.I think I have to go back and bring it home as soon as my wallet decides to cooperate
By the way, though I really like it,I wouldn’t choose this one to wear in my wedding.I prefer something really white, softer, silky,a bit innocent.among all elie saabs I think I’d prefer “le parfum edt” as a bride scent.but I would happily wear in white in my honeymoon and after-wedding parties
    Edit:
Elie Saab in white is one of the most headache inducing perfumes I have ever tested. It’s a rare situation for me.I’ve tested it three times until now and each time it made me and my husband sick in half an hour.I don’t know what’s my problem with perfume but I envy all people who don’t have this problem with it.considering all positive reviews I feel that I’m the only one in this league
I have to remove it from my wantlist and it’s a pity as I love collecting elie saab fragrances

A tamed down Elie Saab le parfum mixed with Burberry London.
    Not bad, not outstanding.

Sweet white floral, amber scent. There is something bridal about it, but it’s also quite modern due to red berries.

Le Parfum In White by Elie Saab is a beautiful, luscious fruity floral on my skin. It smells like the original orange-blossom dominant Elie Saab Le Parfum blended with Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle.
I still prefer the original Elie Saab Le Parfum, the only reason being, it wears better on my skin. Le Parfum In White is much juicier with a sparkling effect on the skin. It’s less focused on being a white floral and as a result smells more care-free.
The top notes are quite sweet and jammy with dewy orange blossom and red berries. The dry-down has an almost chypre quality with heavy patchouli and amber accords adding extra depth to an all-around sparkling fruity floral.
Just a few sprays are all that is required with this fragrance. It does have very bold sillage and also lasts extremely well on the skin and clothes.
Supposedly this flanker is inspired by the wedding dresses that Elie Saab is well known for and is supposed to represent the purity of white flowers. Le Parfum In White is definitely a scent for the modern bride. Personally, I’m a little bit more ‘rustic’, so the original Le Parfum is more my cup of tea for a bridal fragrance.

This is a blind buy I truly enjoy !! I really like this perfume, it is to me the best of the Elie Saab, because I love amber, and white musks, it gives the scent a lot of amplitude, a natural juiciness, t is also quite floral, not in a screechy way, in a rounded way..I detect the Jasmine , but it is muted almost, , I don’t detect any patchouli, which is good news..I do detect a kind of honey vibe, that pops through in the top notes and a bit in the heart.
What a delightful scent !! I sprayed it in my car, and the aroma that lingers is so feminine, and elegant..you have to like white florals to like In White, I find it real pretty, with that element of elegance.. the aura is so clean and fresh, and it warms up in the base..my husband says it smells pretty, good thing !!
Longevity is very good, and on the skin, it smells fantastic
I can see myself moving it to my top shelf, and it might become my signature scent for a while !!

I’ve liked a few elie saab perfumes, some I haven’t though – that ‘Girl of Now’ for me was a ‘Girl of Never’ and Nuit Noor was an uber spice disaster. Others I’ve liked, but not enough to buy.
But I bought this one. It’s lovely, seriously lovely! There’s no pear or cedar notes, that on me are volatile and unpredictable. That’s where this wins my vote, it’s so well balanced, even the Jasmine is easy to get along with. It’s so feminine and one of the nicest orange blossoms I’ve got. For me the patchouli is actually non invasive, I’m not sure if I even notice it that much, sometimes it can really ruin a fragrance. The musks dance in the background and the white amber and berries sustain and lift it. It’s so good! Try it if you see it.
The sillage is very good and the longevity is around 8 hours for me. Lovely dry down too, it holds the florals for a long time.

This smells good. It is sweet, but not sickening. It reminds me of the original Elie Saab le parfum, but this one is sweeter. It is nice and elegant, but i prefer the original. With a name like “in white”, i was expecting a white floral bomb, or at least a heavier white floral than the original one was, but i can’t smell the flowers here. On me, the strongest note is a honeyed amber. Sillage and longevity are weaker than in the original.
Again, pleasant fragrance, but i am a bit disappointed.
p.s: my husband liked it, so this may be a hit with the gentlemen.

This perfume is just out in stores here in Netherlands. I fell in love with it from the first sniff after i blind-bought it online. Definite creation of Kurkdjian for sure. The scent is veeeeery feminine, energizing and long-lasting. For me it even trumps the eclat d’or creation from ES which is my all time favorite perfume. It opens with strong splash of berries and afterwards settles down to a beautiful well blended mix of flowers. This fragrance smells divine from the opening moment till the last seconds of the drydown. Definite musthave if you enjoy floral chypre scents. Longevity and sillage are both excellent!

I like the name too. A quick scan of Le Parfum flankers will show this is the first flanker named after a color. Unless you count d’Or, which I believe means golden.
So, no, this is not a flanker series based on colors, –yet.
I guess they’re trying to hit the ‘Wedding Day’ market, thus -in white, after all Le Parfum edp is always mentioned as wedding day fragrance recommendation.
