Yet another in a long line of packaging gimmicks from Jean Paul Gaultier’s fashion-line (which has taken a back seat to his media mogul ambitions in France for quite some time now), that seems to revel in its past with reckless abandon given all the flankers and rather uninspired summer releases that have followed in the last few years, culminating in this one following in the heels of “Couple” last year. Just to kill the confusion, this is yet again JPG Le Male in its modern, reformulated form with the cardamom and lavender scaled way back (reformulation occurred approx. in 2010) and a purchase of this bottle does not; other than for aesthetic reasons; offer any new adaptation or interpretation of the original.
