No, it is not unisex, it is feminine perfume. For me white flowers dominate, not the citrus. A very good scent, but not something exclusive for the high price you pay.

My favourite from the jardin collection.
    Sparkling sweet greens.
I wear this when the weather is hot.

To start off, I am a guy. I tried it, and like it as a fresh scent, it struck me pretty well. It smells fresh clean/green and springish season type scent. The goods now, for some reason this stuff is actually is a chic magnet on me. I get lines this for example.
“What is that scent your wearing, it smells fresh and sexy”

This is my first Hermes fragrance-found in a duty free shop at the airport. It’s quite lovely and will be my go-to scent for hot days and when I need something a little lighter/safer/classy. It reminds me of a (much higher quality) Bath & Body Works Gingham. That was one of their first fragrances that I can’t even find in the database. I loved that one years ago, hadn’t even thought of it until I smelled this Hermes, and am thrilled to find something that vaguely resembles a classier grown-up version.

Monsieur Li opens up with realistic kumquat and herbs. The herbs don’t smell distinctively like mint. On Sephora, bamboo is listed in the notes, and I think that’s more descriptive of the herbal note. The coolness of the herbs combines with citrus to give an impression of leather. Jasmine is hidden away. Monsieur Li doesn’t remind me of an imaginary garden, but of a smartly dressed young man (I’m in love). The notes stay true throughout the wear. Moderate projection.

On the opening, I get a fresh but not tart kumquat note, which smells like someone crossed a mandarin orange with a yellow bell pepper. There’s definitely mint (mild, cooling, not sharp), a note that’s like white pepper, a dusty tea sort of note, and a diffusive white floral that doesn’t smell specifically like jasmnine. The bright kumquat topnotes fade quickly. I thought this would be a more watery or juicy scent, but to my surprise there’s a fuzzy nose texture. It’s more abstract and blended than the others in the line. It’s my least favorite from the Jardin Series. Mildly sweet. Ok. Not for me. It fails to spark my imagination.

As a Man I’m surprised with this unisex one. Simple, Fresh Fresh, Fresh, This stuff gets notice, compliments by all. I had a woman text me the next day after a night at a bar asking what scent it was and that it was still on her clothes.

Today is a ridiculous hot day, so I decided to add some Mr. Li to make it bearable. This is a very beautiful soft, fresh fragrance that is not boring. I put on a lot of it this morning and now, late in the evening I still can smell it. Soft, but still there. Lovely. My favourite in the jardin-series.

To me Le Jardin de Monsieur Li smells like Chanel’s Cristalle done right!

You may need to reapply this after couple of hours on hot summer days. This one is soft, pure, pleasing and lovely to me and yes, reminding so well of my grandpa’s old garden. I can recognize jasmine clearly, a breeze of coolness – must have been the mint note and a clean, fresh hint of kumquat juice (pretty sure about it, since I’m too familiar with kumquats in my country). If you look for peace in the middle of nature, this should help you mingle well <3

    Unique, aquatic and beautiful.
This is a sweet, (but not sickeningly so) refreshing dream.
Very comforting yet not generic in any way.
    Completely individual.
You can afford to be generous with spritzing this one as it’s fairly delicate.

Sunshine in a bottle. It is how Le Jardin de Monsieur Li smells to me.
It is so clean and innocent. I usually dislike all kinds of citrus dominated fragrances, because I don’t like smelling sour, but LJDML is a different story. The sourness of this turns into a very clean and sophisticated skin scent. You simply feel and smell so fresh and gorgeous so effortlessly.
Love the body products as well. Haven’t felt that happy after a morning shower since Gucci Envy got discontinued.

One of the most elegant scents I’ve ever smelled, which is amazing given the simplicity of its composition.

  14. :

Just three notes tells you all. Pure simplicity. Defines a japanese garden. Pure clean elegant skin smell. Fresh citruses on a mildly base. It is my summer time scent now resting in my wardrobe waiting for summer

I’ve been flirting with this scent for quite a while now. Being a fan of the Jardin line, I’ve found this one a bit boring when I first tried it (my favorite is Sur le Toit). With time I came to appreciate its particular character. It might the most shy of the Jardins, but it’s also the most delicate, feminine and comforting. It might be a white floral, but it has personality!
I personally can’t get much of the citrus, which is a pity, I love citrusy fragrances. But it does add a lightness, for sure. I get a looot of jasmin and basicly no mint. But no, it’s not pure jasmin, let’s say it’s very well blended, with the flower being prominent.
I would use it as a everyday scent, it doesn’t have much sillage (thank god!), it’s office safe and yeah, it can be wore all year round, thought it’s more the face of spring.

  16. :

    4 out of 5

In my mind “Le Jardin De Monsieur Li” is quintessence of spring! Ethereal, crisp and like a breeze of fresh air!
Although it is linear, and has a weak sillage, for me it is very uplifting and even inspiring, simply beautiful perfume.

This is nice. I like this. It’s a flower garden in the sun with bees and butterflies. It lasts only a few hours. It dries down to a single floral note that stays close to the skin. Try a sample. Great for a winter mood boost.

  18. :

    4 out of 5

All the Jardin scents are worth a sniff, maybe even a decant/sample and this is no exception. This one unfortunately doesn’t last past 2-3 hours on me.
It starts out quite floral and I get some anise! It reminds me of chrysanthemum and chamomile tea. It’s a very unconventional fragrance note, and I think it absolutely works as an interpretation of an Asian-inspired garden.
This one unlike the others, does have a bit of a soapy dry down, so if you’re not a fan of soapy notes this might not be for you. I don’t mind it and I think I prefer the dry down of this one.
It’s not my favorite of the line but really worth a sniff. Its main cons are that it doesn’t last long and it’s not a very inviting scent. I don’t imagine people will be clamoring to know what you’re wearing but it’ll make them do a double take because it’s such a creative fragrance.
It’s very feminine in my opinion unlike the rest of the line which tends to be unisex. It smells perfumey as well, while the others are more natural.
This would be perfect for fall since it’s not fresh and not too spicy.

Ahhhh, how I love the kumquat smell and I’m also getting some white floral.
This smells very good although I get an initial brief headache on first spray for some reason.
There’s not much thought to purchase because it fades very fast on me. I am on my 3rd spray this morning but will leave on all day to see if something happens.

Amazing citrus scent thats 90% Kumquat with sweet and sour perfectly balenced.
I love the whole hermes jardin line, but this and Med are my favourites, but very difforent. I also layer this quite a bit to give other fragrances a summer zing.
Other than fresh fruity kumquat i also pick up green leaves, jasmine and a bit of neirol but no mint.
As it dries the sour settels down and it gets a buttery kumquat curd/custard vibe. Fairly stable scent that does not morph very much over the 4 hour wear time.

This is my all time favorite parfum. It’s blended beautifully and masterfully but sadly it doesn’t last very long on me. The only time I get compliments on this fragrance is when I hug someone.
The blend is jasmine, citrus, floral although I don’t know specifically what is in this blend, what I do know is that I am in love with this. Because this doesn’t last long in me, I layer by using the shower gel and body moisturizer to get the full effect.
I would say this is my current signature scent but Twilly by Hermes might be in the lead.
Personally, I think Le Jardin should be used for spring summer, but when I want to be uplifted and happy, I take a spritz which puts and immediate smile on my face.

  22. :

This is such exquisite beauty; whoever said that thing about simplicity being the epitome of elegance was very right. Sure, the notes here are quite simple and this perfume doesn’t develop on the skin in layers. Nor does it offer the kind of depth that we have come to expect from an Hermes.
However, this perfume is lesson in masterful blending. The complexity here lies in the fact that you can’t quite differentiate the sweet freshness from the citrus tang. As a result, Le Jardin de Monsieur Li is so beautifully uplifting, and just.. happy! I am someone who is very careful in buying perfumes that cost anything more than £40. This one I was drawn to like a moth to a flame as soon as I caught the first whiff.
If optimism had a scent, this would be it. I’m in love <3
(Also, one of the most long lasting citrus fragrances out there; on me it lasts a minimum of 8 hours. Projection is moderate)

  23. :

I like it but I wish to love it. Its a clean, simple, elegant citrus. Pretty light in terms of longevity and sillage. I wish it were more to it because that first spray is awesome… but it gets lost on me way too soon. Refreshing to say the least!

  24. :

I kept smelling this everywhere this Summer. I liked the citrus aroma, especially when the breeze transferred it. Thats why i craved this scent and bought it. I wore it a couple of times and somehow it disappointed me. It felt really flat. A green citrus, just like i was peeling a citrus fruit. It didnt feel like a perfume at all.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

A pretty little, lightweight (in every sense) floral. An easy-going aquatic jasmine; likeable but forgettable. A green and watery jasmine with note of the laundromat. A muted fragrance – not faded but restrained and quiet, not drawing attention to itself. Reminds me a lot of Japanese fragrances, which tend to have this quality. Weirdly headache inducing considering. An excellent pick for the office (though perhaps not much else).
Edit: I just realized what this reminds me so much of… Jennifer Lopez’s Still! Not the opening with it’s tart citrus but once you’re in the dry-down it’s very close. This is what I wrote for Still:
“A sharp, green, laundry-like floral. Very white and ozonic. Has a fairly pronounced synthetic quality but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s more a part of it’s personality. Cool and detached; almost aggressively modern.”
Not bad for a $20 cheapie but one expects better from Hermes and Mr. Ellena.

  26. :

    3 out of 5

It reminds me of Cabotine, with that extra Hermes ingredient that adds luxury to its fragrances. Too sweet, too cloying, unpleasant.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

I like this, but it is neither interesting enough nor long-lasting enough to buy.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

As a scent it starts with citrus and ends in white florals. Unfortunately thats all there is to it. Its way more feminine than masculine. I’m still trying to figure out what to do with my bottle.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

Amazing! I love this one. Very long lasting on me. The opening is a very nice citrus, that transforms itself while warming up. After citrus calms down has a very nice and very real hunny smell, very interesting, although not mentioned in the notes.

  30. :

    5 out of 5

This is a very delicate and elegant citrus smell, not sharp, not sour. It is my favorite from the Jardin collection. Works well on hot weather, but I also wear it in spring. it really makes me think of a garden in the far east. I don’t think it’s unisex, the sweet notes are too strong for that

  31. :

    4 out of 5

This is very fleeting. The top notes are quite bitter and then a very fresh moist jasmine like it’s just picked from a garden, which is lovely, it’s the kind of jasmine I want but this is so light and fades so fast I probably won’t buy it.

  32. :

    5 out of 5

Monsieur Li is the simplest of Jean-Claude Ellena’s Jardin scents for Hermes, and one of the best. In essence, it’s a citrus floral with a green, aromatic twist. It opens with kumquat – sort of like a sour orange – and a nice dose of mint that is herbal and fresh, but not too bracing or clean. Jasmine adds a creamy floral twist and just a touch of indoles, which accentuates the sourness of the kumquat.
The overall effect, like much of JC’s work, is a sort of hazy brightness, as though smelling a good cologne through an Instagram filter. Not nearly as wonderful as Jardin Sur le Nil, it is nevertheless an excellent scent for lifting one’s mood, no matter the time of year. Lovely.

Kumquat and garden of Mr. li…
    Kumquat lover, Hurry up !!
You find kumquat in all of the perfume life. At the beginning, the only note is this fruit, but after a few minute, jasmine comes in and an accord of kumquat and Jasmine is detected. I think that mint isn’t so detectable and perhaps the cold sense of perfume recall mint …

Once in a while there is a new scent, which distances it from all other releases, sometimes in a good and sometimes in a bad way. This one is in all the better way, a mellow green citrus aromatic scent with sophistication all the way. It’s not harsh at all, and longevity is excellent on my skin (I get 10+ hours). I didn’t like the other releases from the “unisex-collection”, but this is a keeper and could well be my signature scent in a couple of years. Try it, if you get the chance, you won’t regret it!

I went to KL for two days for business meeting and on my last day, I as a perfume enthusiast will never let the chance go exploring perfumes.
Result, I just found out that Maison Francis Kurkdjian is available at Pavilion, Bukti Bintang. Which one of the collection is in my perfume wish list purchase for so long.
2nd great finding is this perfume. On first sniff I can definitely confirmed that this is citrus base fragrance but what I loved the most this smells like new clothing the one that you just unwrap from the plastic or the scent when you enter an expensive clothing boutique.
It’s really unique I must say, its smells clean but not in a laundry way like Individuelle Mont blanc. It’s just smells clean and fresh and there’s nothing wrong smelling like a new brand new clothing, right ?
I loved this, and its just added into my perfume purchase wish list for this year.

  36. :

I really wanted to LOVE this, that said I can only say it’s just “okay”. Too masculine for me.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I have a sample sized vial and on the package, the notes listed are vegetal jasmine, kumquat, and sap. That would explain the absence of mint.
A very light beautiful scent. Refreshing, delicate, and precious. It opens with freshly squeezed kumquat-
so juicy you can imagine it dripping down your fingers as you take a bite. A few minutes the later, that juiciness is tempered with the light floral jasmine. The drydown. which comes all too soon, is just a muted combination of the notes. Unfortunately, it just does not last.
I love the effervescent spirit of this scent, but it performs so poorly.

Might have set the world record on the *fastest* use of a 100mL frag. In less than 2 weeks, I emptied a whole bottle of Le Jardin de Monsieur Li. Several things made this possible. 1) Love the scent, and can’t get enough of it. And 2) Sillage & longevity are dialed-down super low.
Mind you, I’d swapped a bottle of another perfume that I got for Free, to get this Jardin. Had I actually paid the $137 retail, it would have been disappointing performance. By transitive property, this was a free bottle of Hermes, and I’m basking in the glory of ‘lightening quick top-to-bottom usage’ .. which imparts an odd sense of Achievement.
Hourly application consisted of 5 sprays up & down each arm, delivering a solid 10 minutes of bliss. Please note that I’ve gone through 3 bottles of Sur le Nil, 2 Mediterranee, and 2 Sur le Toit before. But not as quickly. Out of this set, Mediterranee is the strongest projection. Monsieur Li is is softest. Monsieur Li leans closest to Sur le Nil olfactorily, but thankfully lacks the sourness of the latter.
Overall, a highly enjoyable 2 weeks!

I already left a review, but now that I own it, I feel urge to write another one. For me, it is just divine, can’t get enough of it. If you are not u fun of citrus, do not be afraid of this one. Does not have that vibe at all. It is amazing how they made this beauty just out of 3 notes.Even though it is labeled as a unisex, I do not get anything masculine out of it. Many wrote it is borring, but I would say delicate. Somehow I can not find the right words to describe it. I can not put finger on any particular accord, but kind of all of them in minimalistic way, so nothing stands out. It is like a luxury, clean (not in aquatic way) and soft silk scarf you never want to take it down. I whish I can describe better why I do love it so much. I only whish the sillage is better because I can not get enough of it. I have to re-apply quite often and 100 mi is gone too fast. Even though I love it soooo much, I will not repurchase it again, too expensive for such a bad perfomance. I would not mind pay more just if the sillage and longevity is better.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

First of all let me start by saying that is this my favorite from the Jardin line. I have never smelled kumquat before but being that it was the only citrusy note in this perfume it was easier for me to pick out. The opening is dominated by kumquat which smells like an orange except kumquat is classier, more elegant, less sour and more luscious than oranges. After like 20 minutes there is a backbone of jasmine that comes into the picture mixed with a wet green note that I think is bamboo even though it’s not listed here but that’s what I get. The base is quite interesting to me you would think with such a delicate fragrance there wouldn’t be any more developments but here (the base) is where the mint comes to shine mixed with a faded accord of every other note that I’ve mentioned. Projection is about an hour or two depends on the heat the hotter the better and longevity is very good on me with 6 to 7 hours.
One of the main reasons why I love this perfume so much is that it’s blended to perfection which is very hard to achieve. I consider myself lucky that this perfume preforms the way it does on my skin. If could describe Le Jardin de Monsieur Li in a sentence I would say that it’s “A relaxing citrus”. It’s on my “to buy” list hopefully I’ll get it soon.
Edit: I ended up getting it for my mom and she loves it as well now whenever I smell it I think of her.

A very light, very fresh take on both citrus and jasmine! The opening is a fresh, almost orange/lime like zest citrus, followed by jasmine and mint on the finish. This is very watery and would work best in hot, humid weather. However, this has very little projection- this is more of a refreshing skin scent.
I am trying from a sample, but I do not think I would buy this.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

This is the only fragrance in the line that does not have that signature un jardin unique note which smells like vinegar on me.
It opens with citrus. As with all citrus, the citrus quickly fades. Before fading swiftly away, what is left is a watery white floral. On my skin, the mint listed was more of a watery note and the white floral was not at all jasmine. I have never experienced kumquat IRL, but I am assuming this is the opening citrus
I had to apply/reapply 3 times before the end of the workday to try to get a solid test in, and I still feel like I missed it. Extremely poor silage and longevity. At this price point, I expect something that is longer lasting and less ubiquitous

  43. :

    5 out of 5

This is my favorite in the garden series.
I don’t get much jasmine or mint, and there seems to be more notes that are not listed.
It opens with the unusual kumquat note, it’s slightly bitter like Yuzu, but nicer, fruitier.
Then it has the best hay and grassy note that makes it very calming and transportive to a meadow, or Chinese garden.

An aquatic citrus green scent that opens richly and in a lovely way. The initial phase did not change or die down for a couple hours on my skin. The scent slowly faded until it was gone five hours later. The fragrance is nice but I expect more longevity for the Hermes price. I think Monsieur Li is an average, interesting fragrance, but completely not worth the Hermes price. I will not repurchase this one.

One more example of JC Ellena/Hermes perfection. Great and moderately lasting (this is an EdT) combination of Kumquat, Jasmine and Mint. I also smell a discrete note of Iris, and with this I’m not alone on this forum. One of the better SAs of Sephora says the same … so this triangle seems to go beyond it’s 3 corners, like opening it’s angles to a perceived wider flower field.

Smells like the energy of life . Takes me to a peaceful serene place where time is felt and experienced and not something to just get through . literally a smell that is really awakening to the senses. It feels like a spiritual scent that stops time. Obviously high quality and very understated. This could be worn anywhere and by anyone. This may be a good perfume for people who usually don’t like perfume because it really is fresh. I’m wearing it today while I clean my house and keep enjoying its dreamy wafts. Its not a powerhouse or one that you would smell anywhere and recognize. Its the one that sings a soft lullaby to your soul.

Very recognizable and realistic kumquat plus a faint jasmine. It smells mostly like the zesty honeyish peel of the fruit with a bit of the sour insides. I have issues with sour citrus scents and while this one is sour it’s not too sour. It’s basically just one note so it’s good for layering but too boring on its own for everyday use, I like it occasionally though.

perfect for the summer time, i cools down all the heat around you and gives you a nice refresh from the dizziness you might be facing when it is very sunny and when the sun loves you so much.

No mint in this. And, there is vanilla! It reminds me of a modernized, unquirky Shalimar in the opening. It goes on a floral vanilla. The citrus quickly rises. Then, it dries down to a white floral that is a skin scent. No projection, and I sprayed up. If you love jasmine forward, this is white floral but the jasmine is not prominent. It isn’t a dirty sweet scent at all.

  57. :

    5 out of 5

Beautifully fresh, green and aquatic. Citrus without being screechy, and the jasmine here is very clean, no indoles at all. Very light and perfect for the high summer heat. Good crowd pleaser, and smells very high quality.

  58. :

    4 out of 5

Only in the first few moments can I actually distinctly smell the mint and citrus as distinct notes. Then they meld with the white floral, and other greens, and water, and this seriously does smell like a pond.
Usually I’m not swayed by descriptions at all. I could care less if the marketing team of a company has dubbed the fragrance as “condensed unicorn tears dripping from angel’s wings in a bed of blue roses” etc. etc. But this REALLY, REALLY smells like a clean, garden pond.
Deep watery greens. I smell white floral, but I wouldn’t necessarily say jasmine. I think the kumquat gives it an orange blossom feel at times. Then the deep watery edge gives it a very lotus blossom feel at times. There are absolutely no indoles. It really has that authentic deep, watery pond smell that pond water has.
There is a bit of a sweetness, almost a sweet soapiness to it.
So the opening is beautiful, but the dry down takes on a shower fresh, shampoo quality, which turns it a bit plain. If only those top and middle notes stayed true.
Sillage is very low, but longevity is actually decent.

I went to store today to try some new fragrances and saw this. Jardin series of Hermes was unavailable in my country for a long time and I was shocked when I saw it. I didn’t know about it then, but I can say this fragrance smells great. It’s fresh and kumquat makes it great for the summer.
Li is a river in China but the smell reminded me of Mediterranean days. When you woke up to the great scent of nature and the sun is up, sounds of crickets and birds will complete this great art. I also think the longevity is good for this fragrance. It has been 5 hours on mu skin and I can still tell you the smell is there.
I only have two problems with this. The fragrance is linear. There is no great change after hours. The powerful scent at first only fades away by time. This can be a little boring in long term use. Also, the sillage is weak. It is close to the skin and people will notice it only if you apply too much or in close encounters. If you wear fragrances just for yourself and won’t wear this everyday, it will be a perfect scent for you.

    Oh?!
Le Jardin de M. Li is a scent that I know, but I don’t think it was supposed to be. Such a funny thing, smell is. It masquerades as what it’s not, with memories in tow.
So on one hand, yes, I smell juicy citrus, sharp jasmine, and cooling mint. The overall impression is aquatic and green. On the other, I’m suddenly transported to my childhood, poolside, having come out of the water and toweling off. Something about the sun and the chlorine and the synthetic swimsuit and the towel and the almost-gone sunscreen… Maybe my mom’s lotion in there, too. Something personal and endearing about the memory.
Regardless, I admire Ellena’s mastery of composition. With only three notes, the fragrance is billowing, enveloping, a story unto itself. Unisex, serene, calming. It’s tellingly hard not to develop a fondness for Monsieur Li.

Try this if you’re frustrated by the chemical drydown of Infusion d’Iris (Prada) and the Acqua Di Gio’s. Also not too green like Calyx and a few others. Light and fresh, it’s perfect for extremely hot/humid weather. This would also wear well at the gym. I detect a hint of french milled soap (which I love). Wear for casual and everyday fragrance. It’s for day and you’ll remain clean and fresh without smelling like a typical Bath & Body W. frag. I will also sleep in this one. Le Jardin gives off such a peaceful aroma.

Light, refreshing, pretty, perfect for summer. Has something from 1902 Pamplemouse Bedoues, but it is more refined and sweeter. I adore kumquats as fruits in real life, but they are seasonal, expensive and very hard to find and eat in Cananda. Indeed remids ne of them too. also, Cartier Zeste de Soleil comes to mind. In Conclusion, not unique as other Jardins from Hermes, but nevertheless beautiful. I mixed with with some Neroli Intense from Pays d’ Oranger and Magic happened !

My first thought: Monsieur Li has lots of citrus trees in his garden, and some bamboo.
The fresh citrusy opening is better than the drydown, which has some bitter element and masculine note.
Very fresh and uplifting, but a bit too linear and unisex for me.

Sampled this at Sephora in the winter of 2015 and immediately purchased a full bottle for the summer. Such a relaxing scent to me…very watery and light – although bamboo isn’t listed as a note I would swear it’s in there. My three year old daughter is starting to get interested in daddy’s fragrances and this is the one I always let her spray on. Light and sunny, it fits her personality perfectly.

Mild citrus, clean, fresh and classy, but citrus here is not so obvious like in Sur de Nil. For me divine, but I can understand that it might be a bit ordinary for some people. If I have to name it by one word, it will be not citrus, nor fresh, but clean without tiny track of any note that will bothered me.I want to spray it all over my bed sheets and inhale while sleeping and feeling heavenly.
Compering with others form Jardin line, I find that this one has a bit weaker performance.Actually, even though I love it so much, I am hesitating to buy, due to the bad performance vs price. On the other hand, i want it sooo much.

I was surprised that this is classified as citrus aromatic, to me it has a very aquatic feel to it.
And yes, the sweet and delicate kumquat is the predominant note here. I find some similarities with Acqua di Gio Essenza (and yes, a similar egg smell that some find so irritating). Overall, not a bad summer scent, borderline feminine, but not bad. Can’t imagine wearing this in anything but hot weather when it will project well, but otherwise seems very limited in terms of projection.

i live in tropic area in which kumquat is consumed as dried food. kumquat here certainly plays a leading role from start to finish with suggestion of slightly bitter green on the background. No jasmine for me.
I found this performs best in summer heat. 5 sprays and there is moderate spillage for over 6 hours. I am thinking of 1 spray less next time.
I would prefer the mint to be cool (like a peppermint tea) instead of herbal. At the last hour, it becomes powdery. Make up products kind of powdery.

Un Jardin de Monsieur Li is a watery fragrance to my nose. It is cool, like water trickling over stones; it is uplifting, with citrus peel and misty, delicate greenery present. This fragrance is a beautiful creation, quiet and artistic, and it seems Jean-Claude Ellena wanted to exit into retirement on a humble, wistful note.
Un Jardin de Monsieur Li closely hovers over the skin; it lasts one hour on me and does not project. Had I not known this was Ellena’s last creation I would have
