A couple dabs of this is heavenly! I didn’t know it was for men and thought it would make a classy statement perfume for a woman. Like Ginestet’s more popular Botrytis, Le Boise just stays too close to the skin and lasts too briefly to really feel like a fulfilling fragrance. It’s so good, I want more of it!
Definitely a warm oak, not the nose-biting wood that I usually get from woody fragrances. I went outside of my comfort zone to try this one and was not disappointed. There’s the slightest hint of the butteriness of red wine that mellows it out. Unisex all the way. I’ll have to test more to see if it’s worth a bottle with such poor performance.

The package impresses, he takes it out and it’s long and beautiful, you get it on and it’s exciting, but then it’s over in a minute.

Funny how this perfume has an exceptional presentation, and all though I have not had the pleasure of smelling it yet… i would have liked to see some grapes in those notes… all though I do get the feeling that enologist where envolved. That is one hell of a bottle I hope the wood notes are enough to make it evoke the long lost strain of Carmenere¡

Such a good exciting scent with so poor longevity. I deserve better strength for my money. Wonderful woody base, a bit similar to the discontinued Gucci Pour Homme but with spices and wine instead of incense. Very warm and deep, suits the dark red colour of the wine you imagine with it. Completely unisex (like all / most good scents).
Based on the quality and nature of the materials I can’t see any reason for this to be this shamefully weak. Got it at a discount, the scent is amazing but lasting power is so poor I can’t really recommend it at full price.
The miniature wine bottle looks excellent and comes in a stylish wooden box.

It has terrible longevity on me, at first it’s extremely woody and spicy and then it just stops completely. Pity, because I like it’s smell a lot.
