Hi all there,
At first I want to clarify that my review is for the newest version of Al Haramain Khalta, because my bottle is cylinder type of tower, not like the picture with some edges around…
If you do some picture search on internet, you will find some pictures of that new bottle.
Now to the scent Khalta –Wow! Wow! Wow!
It’s wonderful attar from Al Haramain – mature, complex and a bold one. The notes are: amber, wood, flower, leather, tobacco leaves and musk. And I can sense all of them. It’s a really beautiful and smooth smell.
It has a lot of depth – the leather is prominent at the beginning – on my skin is more like suede and woody notes are there too, but Khalta is not oud type of scent. Woody notes are not aggressive and they are not in oudysh style. If you are looking for a typical and strong masculine oud – please, try something else.
There are some florals/I think rose/, but they are not too powerful – just perfect put. And tobacco notes – yes, they are great too – I can sense them without making Khalta ashy or dirty. In the dry down the amber makes it warm and some kind of creamy… Musk is light and keeps the unisex character of the scent.
Overall the scent is more feminine due to florals, but I like it.
Final words – I’m very impressed with it and my advice to Al Haramain is – please, produce an EDP vaporisateur spray version in a stylish minimalistic bottle and I’m sure Khalta will find a lot of love around the world.
Really sexy smell without been aggressive or vulgar.

I vageuly remember this as i tried this one along with many other oils. A combination of roses and musk – sort of reminded me of a lighter Al Rehab Shaikha.
Khaltha Al Haramain is unforgettable for me as very light and didnt have the wow factor. I prefer Al Haramain Haneen oil for a more feminine vibe.
