I’ll agree with a lot of the comments here. Sporty it ain’t, Extrême it ain’t but hey it’s nice and safe. Nice because of the Kenzo dna and safe as it will offend nearly no one. If you want projection there’s better. Longevity, on me, is great as all Kenzo’s are. I’ve got it and will wear it a lot it’s just like me nice and safe.

the dry down is verry similar to versace eros

Wow I am really surprised that the first two reviews call it a “typical sport parfume”…IMO this is hands down the least energetic parfume that ever had the word “sport” on it, however, its the beauty of this site I guess, that different opinions can be heard:)
So in any case, I must say that I grew up in an era where the original Kenzo Homme was the only way to go in high school (well, apart from Versus and Farenheit of course), so I thought it was a good idea to blind buy the sport version, for two reasons: 1. to have some good old Kenzo flashbacks and 2. experience the Kenzo effect remodeled to be more gym friendly and less “go and out and womanize”-y 😀 so i trully expected to throw this in the gym bag
Ok, so thats precisely the two things that did NOT happen at all. It doesnt remind me in any shape or form of the original Kenzo, got zero flashbacks of it (despite wearing it for years), instead I was left with a blend of unispired “been there, done that” fragfrance (although I must say that its a sort of easy to like, not offensive scent, so I would not call it bad at all). The other mark it fails MISERABLY is the sportiness. You want a sport fragrance to be fresh (I promise you it isnt, there are absolutely no light notes that will get you moving and keep you going) and to vaporate well with sweat. Tthis is really specifically a parfum that blends really horrible with sweat, the moment the first sweat appears at your armpit, this will start to do transpere some very weird clogged up odor, something like how an otherwise good smelling food item smells after a day in a closed plastic bag. The other parfume I had similar experience with was Burberry Men, which is at least a really lovely parfum during office hours (and doesnt have the word sport on it).
The only “great” news you guys, is that it has ZERO longetivity, so whatever this miscreated, mispresented, mismarkated thing is, will not leave a long confusion behind. It goes away very quick. First test, freshly unpacked , right after morning shower, which always is the longest a parfum you havnt had on your skin yet will ever last, ended with around 1 hour of mediocre performance and I cant really even talk about dry-down, it did not exist. On the second day of using it, I ended up spraying like every 20mins (partly because it really doesnt last, partly to really get rid of it). I must say that when its sprayed, it really isnt a bad scent at all, its just a bit blah, nothing to write home about, painfuly bad longetivity and completely mismarketed for the sports crowd.

A typical sport fragrance.
Kenzo Sport Extreme opens up fresh and green, and dries down into a typical base of vetiver and marine notes. Does not smell bad at all and the performance is solid. Cool bottle design.
Scent – 7/10
Performance – 9/10
Presentation – 10/10
Can be a great gym or casual outdoor activity scent.
Mortos – :
A very busy opening typical of many sport style scents. Citrus, a bit spicy and and ambiguous woods. Not that aquatic though. Once it starts to dry down, it then gets very smooth and begins to smell very similar to Versace Eros. Perfectly wearable, but pretty uninteresting for something from Kenzo.

Whoever mentioned Diesel Fuel for Life for Men hit the nail on the head. From the first spray that is the fragrance that immediately came to mind. This is like a “sport” version of Fuel for Life. Therein lies the problem: Kenzo Sport Extreme shares Fuel for Life’s milky sweetness and anise/fruit note. There’s no way I would recommend that anyone wear either of these fragrances in hot weather. Too sweet and cloying for that. I would dare to say that this fragrance is better suited for moderate or even cold weather. Either way, I don’t care for this at all.

Smells good, make me feel happy and confident. Longevity and projection is a bit above average. Recommended.
formulaav – :
Better longevity than Kenzo Homme Sport(long lasting in my skin)but the sillage is very close to skin. You can feel the mint in the opening but it fade away, later it became a watery lemon smell with a touch of woody and pepper but more woody.
I would not buy it, there are better options.

I tested it today and I was surprised that I actually liked it. After seeing so many dislikes here on Fragrantica I did not expect something good, but I was wrong. Of course the name is very unoriginal and boring, and the smell is a bit generic too, but it doesn’t mean it is bad. It is fresh, aquatic, typical “Sport” fragrance, with more sillage and longevity than the Homme Sport version, so the addition “Extreme” seems appropriate. Although not very original I find this scent pleasant and people around will notice it.

ITsssss amaiziinngg!!! I reallly like It

I didn’t get much lemon in Kenzo Homme Sport Extreme. The opening is more like peppery mint to me. The mint is present throughout the whole development, providing freshness and a subtle sweetness.
Afterwards KHSE swings between a generic lavander man aftershave, and a pleasant elemi scent embellished by a handful of saltiness on a woody base. Fortunately it approaches more and more to the later. However, it certainly would be much better if it could have sticked to the later.
The sillage is moderate and the longevity is pretty good on me. It’s easily detectable after 10 hours. I don’t find it particularly sporty as its name suggests. It’s more of an aromatic woody everyday scent.
vnv062speagoessenda – :
longevity for this one is long compare to old one and other summer fragrance as scent relaxing fresh nothing new
lusik04 – :
Nice fragrance, not really “sporty”, good longvity. In the same range (read very close to) as CK One Shock and Azzaro Decibel. Nothing new, nothing special. But that should not stop you from trying it.
sfgVTYGVghcv – :
i just recently bought Kenzo Homme Sport Extreme, and i happily passed over Davidoff The Game (which i have told the salesperson that it smells like 1Million which i have already).
The first time i wore this, i thought that this scent has similar to CH VIP 212, it was only until i sprayed this and Kenzo each on my wrists that i have discerned their difference.
Kenzo Homme Sport Extreme has this Green accord -like fresh grass or leaves- which I apparently enjoy, since i miss the smell of rain and forests because i am in the middle east.
I would recommend this to guys who likes to feel relaxed.
цукар – :
Moderate longevity but low sillage on my skin from a good “not so fresh” fragrance (Don’t see the sporty edge and let alone the extreme). It’s at least worth a try but too heavy for summer because of the woody/powdery character of the fragrance.
belsergey – :
Excellent fragrance for summer.
agn7203 – :
Kenzo Homme Sport Extreme has nothing common with the regular Homme Sport, being a combination of Allure Homme Sport and Diesel Fuel for Life. It starts off with a citrusy synthetic molecules of Allure Homme Sport but soon anise begins to play and the scent becomes a full copy of Diesel Fuel for Life with a worse longevity and sillage.
coflongo – :
It’s already available here for several weeks now. To be honest, nothing sporty in it, and nothing extreme either.
It smells a bit more like a cake than a sport fragrance… Comforting and a bit sweet.
