I can smell the rose in this oil but also something skanky…it must be the ambergris.
Nalallerwendy – :
This is a very delicate and pleasant perfume-oil.It takes a while to develop but at first the rose was the Queen, light and persistent but never imposing.I’m glad I ordered this scent it’s not very oudi but maybe I will have better luck with my next choice.
wolfenzug – :
This is the scent i used to smell at my
Grandmother when i was a child.
This is a very butiful rose
With ambergris though on me there is no
Smokiness ..superb quality as all
Oils i own from this house.
Now im a 37 yo man my grandma came from iraq she is very old now bless her soul.
And the question is if a man can pull this off…at the projection i get a faint rose scent but a majestic rose very pure and butiful that doesnt scream in any way.
This is a gentle parfum but present .
So…..yep it is indeed unisex and i add sexy becouse i feel it hints me it makes me imagin …thanks.
Enjoy.

the best least expensive oud out there; smoke and barnyard but without the sour piss smell on the top then dries down with rose; deep, rich and lovely
тамерлан2 – :
Ambergris and oud, tinged with smoke. I detect a faint rose, drenched in salt water and dried by the campfire. The oud is not the cheesy kind, more like a resiny incense unlit; and the ambergris is what rounds the fragrance and makes it more refined. The bottle is nice and the stopper has a wand that makes application easy. Great product for the price.

Blimey!!!!! Lol this stuff is very oudy. But I love it. It’s a very acquired attar. The oil starts extremely heady, and softens into an absolutely sumptuous perfume.
I really feel this is a grown up smell. Imo.
Lovely middle eastern attar, which lingers, and lingers on both clothes and skin. I get lots of Oud for many hours ( around 3/4) and I’m left with the lingering trail of Rose ( yes I know its in the top notes, but not on my skin) and Sandalwood.
If you can wait that long for the dry down, its very elegant and sumptuous. Lovely, lovely oil. I blind bought this based on the reviews, and I’m very happy I did. Projection is pretty good. Longevity is excellent. Around 10 plus hours.

My type of woody smoke and what a funky bottle!
The juice reminds me strongly of those cosy, lazy winter eves near open fireplace, when the wood already half burned to ashes and chalks and another half still gives away sudden red shooting sparkles. To me it is smell of a winter comfort, smell of home, reassuring smell.
So overall, Kawthar is a smoky smell of wood-burning fireplace chimney, not sharp, not too strong, just the right one and whispering dry rose, Gothic mysterious smell with good rose in spices development, I definitely will buy another one.

Lovers of smoky Oud, rejoice!!! This one is fiercely oudy, with a very faint touch of Rose and plenty of Ambergris. This CPO smokes till it drops, Rose adds a very faint input while ambergris lends a rather animalic and sultry dimension. It goes pretty linear, smoky, woody, sultry and continues like that throughout. This is for hard core Oud lovers with added ambergris saltines. Very masculine, manly and seductive. If a man wore this….oh boy….Resistance would be futile…..woody, sultry, musky, smokey, need I say more….?

This is one smokey Oud. I think I will combine it with other
fragrances. This fragrance reminds me sitting around a campfire. The smoke envelopes you.
nikson5610 – :
smoke, yes, you betcha.
this is a fragrance oil, so I like that about it, this is my first time trying it, or for that matter anything from Swiss Arabian.
a fascination with oud brought me here.
every time I smell oud in something I think “oh, so that’s oud.” and then I smell oud in something else and am a bit surprised at how different it is.
the bottle is very regal looking. nice on the dressing table.
Update: I love this a lot. it took a while to warm up to it, but now, I just crave it. a good incense smell, and the rose and oud are wonderful.

When I open this bottle out pours smoke from smoldering embers, the scent of rich foods flavored with saffron and roses, leather saddles drying by the fire, and amber incense wafting over the sand. This what I can imagine the interior of a smoky Bedouin tent in the middle of the desert smelling like.
The sillage starts out strong but quickly settles to a close, skin scent. The fragrance itself is long lasting, it just isn’t far projecting and I get random “puffs” of it hitting my nose as I move about during the day.
LOVE this!
