Kaiak Urbe is a good fragrance for daily use, any weather, any time.
Projection 7/10. Sillage 7/10. Longevity 7/10. Aroma 8/10.
Kaiak is a line of fragrances from Natura, a famous brazilian brand of cosmetics.

This “urban” version, as its name suggests, was released in 2012, increasing the Kaiak line, one of the best sellers when it comes to male fragrances of the Natura perfumery, since 1996, when the traditional version was released.
This version opens with notes of lemon, mandarin, mint (Limonene), bergamot and apple, followed by notes of lavender, geranium, nutmeg and basil, in the heart, ending with notes of musk, coumarin (tonka bean), cedar, amber and sandalwood, in the base. It’s a delight, from the moment that is applied on the skin. At the same time that is refreshing and mildly citrus, evolves into a fragrance of floral nuances and ends with a very discreet scent of something sweeter.
The biggest problem of this cologne is the low projection. Within 2 hours after its application, you can’t feel it on your skin anymore, in a mix of olfactory fatigue and lack of projection. And I go further: the first time I wore it, I used along with deodorant and not saved in the amount of sprays. I confess that I was frustrated when I stopped feeling the aroma. But the surprise came when, after many hours, I was asked: “this scent is still that kaiak Urbe you applied earlier?”. Done! That’s all I needed to believe that not all was lost. So, in the second time I wore it, I decided to decrease the number of sprays and watch its behavior. And it was much better!
Who knows a little about perfumes and has (or have had) numerous bottles throughout his/her life, knows that some fragrances cause this “deception” when applied in excess. I had already read reports about it, but I have never felt on my skin (literally), until then. Therefore, the hint: apply just enough and don’t worry about the low projection. The others will feel it!
Finally, the bottle kept the visual identity of the line, but the gradient tone and the rubberized details confer beauty to the product.
