I’m pretty sure I tried this as Barber of Siberia #1, as a tie in for the movie from 1998. It’s a favorite of my sisters and also of a friend of mine who adores the original Angel perfume and patchouli. I’m not a huge patchouli fan myself and this does dry a bit too woody for me, but overall it’s nice. It reminds me a lot of the kind of bitter coffee/chocolate patchouli of Angel, but without the super sweetness and body odor notes.(yes, Angel goes terribly bad on me.) This is dry dark chocolate with patchouli/wood base and is very rich and very expensive smelling. I like it in very small doses; then it’s great. Hot weather or heavy application would be disastrous, so I can see why the previous reviewer had issues with it. It is discontinued, as far as I can tell, which is sad for my people who love it. I like it, but won’t cry if I never see it again.

Not working on my skin at all. Smelling the bottle, it was wonderfully warm and spicy. On my skin, instant nausea. (But then most perfumes smell bad on me)
