Pineapple is the ruler of this one. Meshed with a sweet cinnamon/vanilla accord this one has true class. Would be beautiful for any season but especially late summer/early autumn. Wonderful scent. And a little goes a long way.

So sad this is so hard to find now. Luckily I still have a bit left from my last bottle. Gorgeous fragrance. On me, it’s mostly a slightly spicy cinnamon-vanilla-ish scent, with maybe a tiny hint of a jasminey type floral. Long lasting too, which is great for all-day wear. Not too heavy for daytime in the warm weather we have here.
One of the few perfumes where I like a later version (the Rococo) more than the original (Joop! Femme).
Zubr_S – :
Had to fight a stubborn stopper on a new bottle of Rococo EDP for a friend.
Possibly old stock but brand new.
The inevitable splash on my hand as I finally wrestled the stopper out persisted all night for 12 hours.
The owner immersed in a bath 12 hours after application & asked me to verify that scent still persisted on her wrist where it had been touched.

I had this perfume a few years ago, I absolutely loved it… and it took ages for me to find it again. I’ve just got my new bottle and I felt rather dismayed – I don’t remember it being this dark (I thought it was ‘off’ when I first saw it) and I don’t really like the smell although my partner says it smells nice after being on for a while. I’m sure it does not smell as it did before…does anyone else think this, have they changed the perfume smell and colour since the original or is my memory more ‘off’ than the perfume?

On me, there were NO pineapple notes…It was strong, old fashioned, and as I wore it on my wrist, it turned sort of like Tabu.

Notes on Joop! Rococo:
Sweet old floriental opening on my skin-reminiscent of Must de Cartier…pineapple! Not as much depth as Must, and not like Python for me-certainly sweeter and not as spiced.
Joop! Rococo goes from pleasant enough but almost too perfumey to quite faint-the lasting power is not great-or rather-it fades a lot to a subtle but enticing warm drydown, and as much as I like the drydown, I don’t like to down the pineapple cup. Not bad, but I have no desire for a bottle. If I apply an hour before going out I will smell very nice though….
I agree that Rococo is reminiscent of Dolce Vita, and a bit inspired by Must, but I would rather choose one of those tried and true fragrances for a perfume wearing that is more enjoyable through and through.

This frag is great!!!In some way it reminds me of Samsara+Dolce Vita….Sexy, oriental spicy-floral.Boost confidence. The lasting power-5 points from 10.
It is very rare and discountinued,so it is a treasure 😉
P.S.By the way the first 7-8 minutes it is identical to Python by Trussardi
I like the old frags till 2000year from Joop. They smell expensive, luxorous. They are not like the new ones which are nothing interesting
Tipspoind – :
It’s expensive smelling, luxurious, a bit loud at the beginning (thanks God pineapple isn’t so prominent on me – before I got it i was afraid it might be unwearable because of this note), but it quickly settles as a wonderful woody vanilla; I must agree with amandahuang – I also wouldn’t put it in a “floral” olfactive group because it’s definitely not a pure, linear kind of florals (like Ce Soir ou Jamais or Rose Essentielle)
mityu72 – :
My first impression is that it is good, but would love to have a sample of it, as I am curious about thsi scent. I remember it as a little spicy, but still very round and lovely.
Rostik189 – :
This stuff has very poor lasting power(when I mean poor I mean I sprayed it and I couldn’t smell almost anything, it took me long efforts trying to figure out what this smells like), what I could smell was a faint peach, cinnamon and vanilla, a far far away pour cousin of Dolce Vita, what bothers me is that it costed me a great deal of money, my mistake buying it unsniffed.
Hate it.

Rococo is truly adorable which conveys a sense of femininity, elegance and luxury. The funky name itself says it all. This fragrance is a glamourous diary of a free-thinking and dazzling woman. I would say it is a excellent collaboration of fun and sophistication.
But I wouldn’t say the ofactive group of Rococ is purely floral, instead it is pretty woody and exotic as well. It dries down into a rich scent of vanilla and caramel.
I think wearing this fragrance is a great way of present yourself in style, with a little of foaming life desire : )
(P.S. This such expressive fragrance would make a perfect match with the male version of Rococo~)
