This has the dill pickle accord on my skin. I was testing the matchbox trio and I put on the bleu, my coworker really liked it so I let her put the rose on. On her it was a fizzy bright rose; mostly realistic with a touch of a clean, soapy effect. So, a few days later I tried it on myself. And I immediately smelled tangy dill pickles. I thought it might have been a fluke; perhaps a strange mixing with oils still on my skin from an earlier application of something, so I tried it again (a few days later on clean skin) and had other people smell me (including the coworker that it worked for). Still totally smell vinegary dill pickles all through the scent and so did they. I actually don’t hate it, but it is odd enough to not want to wear it. And I have other rose scents I love very much. I gave the rest of my sample to my coworker. Strong projection for at least the first hour. And lasts a good four or so overall.

A very classy, fresh rose. This is by far the best rose fragrance, I’ve encountered. It’s one of those scents, you never knew you wanted, until you smell it yourself. It was love at first smell. Pure rose to the tea (see what I did there). This one of those hidden gems that you come across by chance.
A rose, is a rose, is a rose, is a rose.

I had really high hopes for this one, but it turned out too sharp and grassy for me. By the time it dries down, the sharpness and green aspects go away, leaving just the lovely rose, but by then it’s not worth it, because it’s so much of a skin scent, that not even I can tell I’m wearing it, unless I am burying my nose directly in my wrist.
I don’t get the comparison to Stella – the rose in Stella is darker and more velvety, and a bit fake, in that overblown way. Here, the rose is lighter and fresher, and would be lovely, if only it lasted and wasn’t overpowered by that screechy sharpness and greenness in the beginning.

I think this is my favorite rose scent to date. I fell for this one upon first sniff…I adore how delicate it is. This is tiny blush pink roses surviving frosty morning air, delicate velvety petals gleaming with crystals in the foggy sunrise.
When I wear this one I think of tiny fine bone china teacups with delicate pink roses painted on them with a steaming delicately steeped rose oolong, reading a sweet historical romance by the fire…
I love how you can smell the whole rose, green stems and all

I tried two rose-based fragrances today, and both were so wildly divergent, it really amazed me. The first one was naughty and seductive, this one is buttoned up and proper.
It puts me in mind of a sweet green tea rose after a rain. The sandalwood gives it a dusty edge and the green notes with the rose remind me of leather leaf ferns in a florist’s shop. I could wear this to church, to a grade school, to grandma’s house for tea.

I didn’t like it when first drying down, and it disappeared completely after an hour of so. I detected mostly sandalwood and some rose, but it had a strange wang on my skin.

A soft and true tea rose, I thought it was lovely. Took about a half hour to fully develop on my skin.

I got the pack sample too, the pink one is a bit sharp to my nose,, not great.I detect musk, plus more rose..nothing outstanding…it would give me a headache quite easily…for the price, it isn’t anything special, there are rose scents nicer than this…
Overrated, overpriced.

I ordered as a gift with purchase – a Tory Burch sample set of her 3 new fragrances from the Fleur Jolie line, all in spray samples, housed in a cute pocket sized floral print box from Sephora. I have sampled all of them, and while I love them, I have to report that they all wear more like eau de toilettes.
Well this one is a wet, dewy pink rose with a little pink pepper and citrus thrown in. The cashmeran adds sweetness- and gives it a turkish delight quality. If this were edible, I picture rose champagne with vanilla wafers layered with a peppery rose icing. This was a lot of fun to wear the first hour as the layers unfolded. I got a compliment immediately. I guess it’s comparable to Stella McCartney Stella EDT, but this is sweeter and deeper. Also if you like Signorina original you may like this.
