This does not smell like a freshly brewed cup of coffee. I thought so at first, but with further testing and the with the induction of my gag reflexes (due to excessive use in the past and massive hangovers laters) it just came to me. This smells like Patron Cafe Liqueur. If you don’t mind the sweetness in your coffee with a tad bit of an alcoholic (beverage) vibe, then you’ll love this.

I have smelled at least 15 coffee based scents. From designer to niche and I must say this is the most realistic. With that being said I this is probably the worst. It smells like a dark roasted pot of coffee and not much else. It needs more sweetness IMO. Joe is long lasting with great sillage. If you are on the hunt for well done coffee scents then Perlier Caribbean Vanilla & Coffee, Legendary Fragrances Barista and Sebastiane Espresso Royale are some that you must sample.

This one’s nice – smells like a pot of coffee with a bit of sugar & vanilla added – no creaminess though, which for me is a good thing. If you’re a gourmand fan I’m sure Ganache Parfums is great, but I ordered this to layer a bit with some of my existing fragrances to add just a solid coffee note. Think it’ll perform nicely in that way. Not the nicest ‘coffee’ fragrance I’ve ever experienced, but certainly the most straightforward, which is what I wanted out of it.

I am thoroughly disappointed in this fragrance. It definitely smells “roasted” and not in a good way at all, I don’t like the way the maple sap sits in there either…
I was hoping for something very different I guess

Joe is very good, it smells like a dark roast iced coffee with milk, but without too much sugar.

I’ve never smelled a coffee note, more prominently, in a perfume before. Joe captures the aroma of a fresh brewed pot of rich, dark Columbian coffee waiting to wake you up in the morning. Maple, vanilla and sandalwood appear throughout- adding some layers and depth- but coffee is the real star of the show. Ganache Parfums replicates scents as accurately as Demeter- but with far better siliage and longevity. Jarekhye’s creations are a delight to the senses and “Joe” is another welcomed addition to my collection.
