Jimmy Choo presents its new fragrance Jimmy Choo Fever that follows the Signature collection started with the premier fragrance Jimmy Choo in 2011. Fever promises a different archeosphere and ambience compared to the original, in the form of a powerful composition that posseses sexappeal and glamor.

Jimmy Choo Fever is developed by perfumes Nathalie Lorson and Honorine Blanc and, according to Lorson, it is very strong and full of elements – a hot floral fragrance, a bit sweet and with a dark background.

Top notes: black plum, litchee, grapefruit; Heart: heliotrope;Base: benzoin, sandalwood, tonka bean.

The face of the advertising camapign is model Hannah Ferguson. The fragrance comes out in August 2018 as a 40, 60 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Got a sample of this from Sephora. It is a spicy scent so I am surprised there is no spice listed in the notes. I love sweet and vanilla type scents and the Jimmy Choo Stars is my favorite in this line. Fever is pulling in a close second, being very different from Stars.
Fever is indeed sexy and sophisticated and great for a night time or cool weather scent. The spicy scent does smell ‘hot’ if that makes sense and I really enjoy this.
Edit: The scent faded from my skin after about 5 hours….so I would say that is medium wear for me. In comparison, I’ve had other scents last all day (over 8 hours) at work. When I showered I noticed it washed off cleanly, without leaving any lingering muskiness like some other spicy fragrances tend to do. I give this scent a thumbs up for longevity AND for washing off cleanly.

Tested it multiple times to be able to write a good review. To my nose, it is a sweet and a bit boozy perfume. Very well blended, it is difficult to pick apart the individual notes. I am sure i smelled benzoin and heliotrope, i am not sure about the rest.
It is a pleasant fragrance, but i have the feeling i have smelled it before.
If you want a dark,a bit decadent winter scent, try Fever.

I’ll start with the basics about Fever: very long lasting and with medium sillage. It has little connection to Jimmy Choo Original, and more with Flowerbomb and LVEB; is not as gagging though, and that’s due to the balsamic aspects. It IS sticky syrupy. For those who love uber-sweet gourmand perfumes, this is ideal for winter time, or Christmas. I don’t see any other period of the year Fever would suit.
What I get is mainly a deep cherry vanilla. Tonka sometimes gives off cherry vibes. It’s like a huge sweet sugared cherry liquor, thick and cloying sitting on the skin. Do I smell some liquorice? After an hour from initial application benzoin is more evident and some fruit we can call plum.
Personally I’ll stick to the original.

I went to test this in Ulta yesterday morning. Sprayed it on and wore it for a few hours. I kept thinking this smells familiar. After I while I got it. To my nose this smells just like Prada Candy. I already own that one so won’t be buying this one unless I find a small bottle at a good price. I love the bottle and my Prada is half gone. Lol.

I will say this is better than Carolina H GOOD GIRL ..if u want a fall sweet sultry date scent. Good Girl goes very synthetic on the drydown and Fever does not , if u had to choose! very balmy..nice.

I do like this but only in tiny amounts during cold weather would be ideal …its very similar to kenzo E’lixr perfume and ysl black opium …a cross between the 2 . I own both of those so maybe a discounted bottle or tiny bottle of Fever I wouldnt mind having…but not gonna run out and buy this full priced. Its a like. The scent is a oriental balmy vanilla spiced drydown..and is sweet.

Another boring generic fruity floral with extra strength so everybody in the room knows you’ve just showed up. This is very sweet, and you’ve smelled it a million times before.
How I long for an interesting new release!

This is yet another uber-sweet fruity fragrance for young girls. Smells like gazillions of other sugary-fruity scents launched in recent years. Pass.

I was drawn to this in Ulta because of the amazing bottle. It’s probably the prettiest bottle I’ve ever seen. On my skin, however, this smells like old lady and pencil shavings. I couldn’t detect any fruits or coconut at all, just musky pencil shavings. Several perfumes do this on my skin, so I’ll chalk it up to my body chemistry.

Rich coconut. Exactly this. I dislike cause it gives my nose=coconut smelling. Edp. Lasts long.

Smells like fruitcholi #1,239 that was created in recent years. Okay, I may be exaggerating a little bit on the #, and I know patchouli isn’t listed in the notes, but that is what I pick up here. So many companies fragrances anymore are starting to smell similar. This is not bad, will be especially nice in the winter months/cold climates. But it just is not original for me. C’mon, Jimmy Choo (or shall I say Michael Kors, who bought out Jimmy Choo in November 2017), come up with some original, unique scents..this clone after clone is getting tiring..

I smell a great wear for the autumn. I don’t feel or smell black opium here. I smell distinct similarity to Boucheron Place Vendôme with a sweeter trail.
    Bottle is fun and sexy.
    My first Jimmy choo.

I was at a Nordstrom perfume counter trying to catch a sniff of Good Girl’s new flankers and I had to laugh when the SA spray tested Good Girl on the card and acted like it just came out yesterday. lol When I asked about the two new ones, the SAs, all three of them, looked at me in disbelief. “Where are you getting all this information” they asked. Fragrantica, I said.
Still trying to impress me with something new, the SA sprayed Fever on a test strip and my first reaction was it’s been done before. I get a little of the Black Opium comparison but what it really smelled like was The Body Shop Black Musk, honestly. I have Black Musk so I’ll just stick to this one. lol

A modern version of Laura Biagiotti Venezia. Nothing new.

This is so super delicious, I like it a lot. It reminds me of Jimmy Choo EDP and EDT a bit and I have always wanted them both.
Probably going to get them soon.
About this one, it’s balsamic, sweet and a little bit fruity.
    Very-very nice.

This is sexy, sexier than the others. But as I already have two Jimmy Choos, I don’t feel I need another. It’s similar enough.

I bought the 40 ml because while I am a huge fan of tonka and heliotrope, I wasn’t sure how the plum, litchi, and grapefruit would mix with these other notes on my skin. I’ve been wearing it all day today and last night. Here’s what I think…
It is a strong gourmand that does resemble Black Opium. It made me nervous to see others compare this to that because I find BO screechy and headache inducing. It’s just too strong and “perfumey” not in the best way. Fever, as another reviewer mentioned, is perfumey as well but it doesn’t bother me so much. It’s more rounded and smooth and eventually it dries down to a very nice, soft gourmand. The grapefruit note comes out in the base which allows the fragrance to keep some lift rather than turning into a flat sweet generic smell.
I really do like this a lot! I’m glad I have the small size though because it isn’t totally unique. I also get the Poison Girl comparison big time. And because I already own and adore Poison Girl, I don’t need a big bottle of this.
Conclusion: Fever is strong! Go light on the trigger if you don’t want to bomb your house with it. Seriously. It eventually turns softer, but it takes 2-3 hours to get there. I think that’s when I like this most. Once it’s had time to burn a while and blend in with my skin. If you like scents like Bon Bon, Black Opium, Poison Girl etc then this will be a no-brainer. The plum note is nice I should add. It’s what makes Fever feel dark and sultry, not overly fruity. I don’t get much litchi. Sillage is heavy, longevity is excellent.

It’s like an Intense version or Extrait version of Black Opium. It’s strong and very sweet.

This Fever got me all hot! To me, I think it still has the certain Jimmy Choo-ness about it. Like I can tell it’s a Jimmy Choo perfume. Maybe my skin amplifies a certain note they all have. When I first sniffed this, I compared it to the original and Illicit. Yep, still has a distinct aroma they all have. Maybe it’s the sweetness that Choo perfumes are known to have.
Anyways, the scent is dark and sweet. Someone mentioned syrupy plums and yes, they’re correct. They’re not too sweet though; the other notes seem to balance everything out. I don’t get any grapefruit on my skin. The plums and tonka are the main players on my skin, with the heliotrope and benzoin balancing it out. I agree that it should have it’s own new bottle, but I will say, the purple bottle is so pretty. I’m a sucker for purple anyway since it’s my fave color. This kinda does remind of Dior’s Poison a bit, though not the in-yo-face bomb that Poison is. I think this one is more wearable and it’s sweeter. Perhaps a semi-gourmand version of Poison.
I think that if the original was too sweet for you, this is a good balance. Perfect for fall and winter season, perhaps cooler spring days too. I can’t comment on longevity/sillage yet because I haven’t given a proper wearing. So far, I’m really diggin this new release!

Only sprayed as the bottle was too pretty not to! not what I was expecting
Bon Bon with a hint of all the best parts of black opium a little poison girl around the drydown.
Very very Bon Bon infact, only difference this one really lasts.
I am indeed now going to purchase a bottle.
It may not be innovative and it is definetly another sweet bomb but this one I actually think is the nicest one of its kind so far.

This is yummy! I can smell grapefruit but very subdued. The others are right,no distinct
Jimmy Choo smell here! It’s a perfumey one and I like that about it! I would wear it year round! I can’t describe the scent exactly,,,sweet but not overly so,I guess I would say plums and tonka are most prevalent. The first perfume that came to mind was Avon’s Rare Amethyst! Not a dupe or clone but just a reminds me of feeling. Benzoin isnt heavy, but a lovely touch! Nice one!❤️

Tonka beans mixed with syrupy sweet plums. That combination almost make me feel like I smell something chocolatey in it.
It’s very sweet, a bit dark, yet still playful and somehow interesting. I kinda like it.
    Why not…
    To me 6/10.

This new Fever has a very minimal resemblance of the original, almost to none. It is not as sweet as the original either. And for once, I’m glad for that fact. It is quite nice in its unique way, with a very yummy smooth tonka bean, sweeten by heliotrope and litchi. The plum did not shine so much, but it did deepen, adding a little dark fruity scent to the combo. Benzoin and sandal wood together somehow gave a slightly cosmetic vibe over the middle dry down. Grapefruit stood out fresh and strong in the very end, adding a twist to the fragrance, just a touch of a soft masculine tone, but very well under controlled in order to still be feminine and absolutely not boring. I detected NO patchouli here whatsoever. If you are into sweet tonka bean, sweet fruits, benzoin and such, this is IT! It has an interesting character.
Even though I did not love Fever right away, like I did with the original, but I’m SO close, as I already like it very much. I have no doubt, it will grow on me stronger to a love when the hot season passes. Highly recommend to give Fever a try. A big successful blind buy for me.

Well this is exactly how I imagined it would be, very rich and sweet. It lacks the freshness that I love about the original, so they definitely could have amped up the grapefruit

I saw this yesterday, gave it a try and bought it on the spot.
It’s very warm and enveloping, soft and sweet. It’s definitely more of a cool weather scent. I don’t get any grapefruit but that’s probably a good thing in this particular scent as if it was a prominent note I don’t think it would work.
Fever gets to the dry down phase quite quickly and it’s the best part of the scent for me. It’s sweet in a really cosy way. It’s very smooth and well blended, there are no rough edges at all.
It’s a shame that they didn’t design a completely new bottle. It looks like a flanker of the original when it’s a new scent in it’s own right. It smells nothing like Jimmy Choo or any of it’s flankers. The distinctive Jimmy Choo smell is absent from this – probably because they is no patchouli in it.
Longevity is excellent – I could still smell it next morning after spraying it in the evening. I can’t tell you about the sillage yet as I haven’t worn the scent outside the house yet because we’re in the middle of a heatwave. I suspect it’s pretty good though as I could smell it on myself.
All in a pretty good offering from Jimmy Choo.

Ugh, why with the benzoin? My skin amps up benzoin until it overtakes all other notes (the reason I can’t wear Prada Candy) and I can’t stand it. Will have to try this to see how much it takes over because sometimes a scent can surprise you.
