Description
The new addition to the official James Bond perfume collection from the motion picture company Eon Productions launched in 2012 (with the debut James Bond 007 fragrance and limited Gold Edition) is named James Bond Ocean Royale. The fragrance pulls inspiration from the sunny blue sea surroundings of the Caribbean and Bond’s adventurous nature.
The fragrance opens with refreshing notes of bergamot, lime, anise, and seaweed accord. The heart is elegant and sensual thanks to iris, cedar and teak wood. The base includes woody accords of sandalwood and guaiac rounded by intense aromas of tonka and coffee from Jamaica.
It is available as 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette with aftershave lotion, shower gel and two types of deodorants.
James Bond 007 Ocean Royale was launched in 2013.

As a lover of the saga I could not but review this little masterpiece. Perfume fresh, aromatic and from some famous opinions, very sensual. Will it be true, then, that James Bond attracts so many women?

This is nice. We scored this at Kohl’s on Clearance for a song. Not an earth-shattering fragrance, but quite nice. Office safe and inoffensive. Nothing heavy going on. A nice year round scent, good for day or night. Not the greatest longevity, a couple hours before this becomes a skin scent. More of an airy, clean, fresh men’s fragrance. Nice. Would also be good for things like first dates, job interviews, meeting the parents, things like that. No fear of this entering the room before you do. More of a soft sillage. Starts off “okay,” but I like it more as it dries down. Can’t pick apart the notes too much blended well. Just a clean fresh airy type of men’s fragrance. But not too overly masculine. I am a chick and I will gladly swipe a spritz or two from my man’s dresser. Shh!!!!!! 😉

A very fresh slightly citrusy aquatic scent that comes across as being very clean. My 20 year old nephew wears this and he always smells nice, although I will admit the longevity is poor. Granted, this is not a groundbreaking or overly unique scent, but it would be a good choice for somebody just starting to wear scent or somebody who wants and office or school scent that is never overpowering. And the price is dirt cheap!

A clean scent that is just a little too sharp for me.
I have to admit that I have got a few compliments for this in the workplace, it’s fine for warm summer days but just a little too synthetically fresh for my tastes.
Ocean Royale suffers from the same problems these Eon Production scents have, it burns out way too quick.
The bottle looks fantastic and like others of this line has the cool little sprayguard.
My recommendation would be to not pay too much for this, probably about around £8 for a 30ml. I got the original black bottle 007 with the shower gel and balm for £12, if you see a deal for something like that then it would probably be worth it.
As a side note, Daniel Craig’s Bond would not wear a designer based fragrance like this, for a summer scent he would have a fragrance from an established London-based barber, probably something like “GFT” by Geo F Trumper, Just Saying.

Horrible!!!! This nauseating fragrance is a poor representation of an iconic spy movie.

I’m sorry but nothing new again. I received a sample from this. Very inviting and nice soft scent. It’s like weak watery version of Armani code. At first fresh citrusy and calms down to sweeter powdery tonka bean smell, but remains fresh at whole time
Prizra4naya76 – :
The opening smells citrus fresh, but is gone after a couple of minutes. After this what is left is a sweeter, more vanilla, civilized version of, believe it or not, One Million.
It carries close to the skin and if you apply this sparingly nobody will smell you.
It’s not banal and boring, it’s smooth, sweet and laid back. Undercover, like 007.

Nice, i like it

Hate to say it, I love it, seriously fresh and aquatic, worked really well with my skin, couldn’t stop smelling my wrist, lasted roughly three hours before all trace had gone. Worked better on clothes. My opinion is wavering towards positive on these 007 fragrances, if only they lasted longer, but price wise they cannot be faulted. Kind of what I want cool water to smell of.

Unique mix of citrus, sea water and anise with a backdrop of floral and woods underneath. Very light and soft scent that smells more on the synthetic side but with such soft projection you aren’t likely to notice much anyways. A dry aquatic, doesn’t have any of the astringent and high pitch citrus or sandalwood in most of the popular favorites nor do the oceanic elements dominate, being more subtle and mixed into the exotic woods. Performance here leaves much to be desired, very soft projection after three sprays and longevity already flickering out after 2-3 hours. For the casual guy looking for an affordable summer offering who is fond of the novels or movies and enjoys nice packaging. The juice itself is not worth the price of admission.

This does not smell like you think it does — much more sweet and fruity than marine/aquatic. Unfortunately, it does smell ‘meh’ like you think it does.
The fruit is cloying rather than smooth. The sweetness has no counter from the alleged coffee and cedar notes. I don’t think it’s a boring scent however, so some people will still enjoy this. For me it’s just a waste of an attractive bottle.

banal and boring citrus aroma.there is no firmness and there is no loop.the price is obviously overstated it, its real cost can’t be more than 5 USD.

Antonpan is definitely right about the connection to Baldessarini Ambre…This barely even reminds me of a fresh scent. Its much more interesting than your typical fresh fragrance: whiskey/liquor note; amberish background against the sweet tonka; florals that harken to Versace Dreamer. This is certainly something worth checking out – don’t underestimate it. Can’t speak to the longevity though.
lohoduwv – :
A pretty generic “fresh” scent. Not much to remember. Not for me.
unilogin – :
Extremely disappointing! Weak, watery, no sillage and poor fixation.
Nothing new. Nothing special.
YuJIb4uK – :
I agree with the comments below that this one is much better than the first JB offering. It has a fresh feel to it and some surprsing undertones. Alas, it’s not very long lasting, although a sense of freshness prevails. Therefore it’s not as cheap as it seems to be, but it’s ok nevertheless.

Surprisingly, this one is not a simply aquatic. Ocean Royale is a less sweet, fresher copy of Baldessarini Ambre / DKNY Red Delicious for men. That beautiful “whiskey” note is presented here, making Ocean Royale a wishful fragrance for its price.
By the way Ocean Royale is more noteworthy than the regular 007 fragrance.

Very Nice but weak and intimate. Very short lasting for me also.

Spelt this in store today, it’s actually quite nice. It’s spicy like Paco rabannes million but has a couple of different notes. It’s manly and reasonably priced !

I hope that TJ maxx and Ross have enough space to place this one too…
