I found a bottle with big expectations. How can a flanker ever compare with the original? It doesnt.
Yes, there are quite a few spices within. Thats fine. The carnation, rose and jasmine are replaced by peony. In Buddist legend, the uptala flower or peony is compassion that only blossoms once in a lifetime. Given the Indian inspiration of Jaipur, I can embrace the legend.
The staying power is about 6 hours. Rather strong by todays 2 hour offerings. As a flanker, it is worthy to the original, but will never compare to it. Nothing ever will, honestly.

It’s got the staple drydown of Jaipur pour Homme, only it’s less powdery and non-vanillic. It’s got a spicy fresh feeling to it, hence the product’s name.
There’re traces of white pepper and orange in the drydown, yet i couldn’t figure out coriander note. All in all, it’s a nice departure from the original Jaipur.
