This is a bit too screechy on my skin. It feels rather cheap, and overall, I haven’t been impressed with Tocca’s quality. I think this may not be the brand for me.

To me, this is a pure, photorealistic rose scent. My mom had a rosewater back in the 90s that was like a watered-down version of this. I don’t really smell any other notes. This is a skin scent on me. I wish it had more sillage / projection. It’s a beautiful, elegant scent.

I’ve been loving this rose for these sweltering hot summer days. I get mostly rose and pear from this. It’s crisp and refreshing for summertime.

on me, isabel is a pleasant somewhat sweet fruity floral with notes of pear and rose, that reminds me of old fashioned toilet water.. it is a girlie scent, innocent and feminine and light and airy. i cant detect the leather note and that is a good thing to me. its longetivity and sillage are both moderate but i always forget i have it on and therefore, it is nothing special or unique.. pretty and nice and a safe present or office perfume.
heavy glass bottle is rather exquisite but the cap leaves a lot to be desired.

This smells of Christmas. Clementines and roses. Just the right amount of sweet. Love

The sangria is very strong and much more noticeable than the rose. In the first half hour, it smelled a little like bubblegum, but as the scent wore on, it got sweeter and sweeter. The sweetness of the sangria was quite overwhelming that I started to feel a bit nauseated after awhile. However, I do get a hint of rose; it’s just not prominent. I smell rose in the initial spray and then in the twilight hour of the scent. Isabel makes me think of a large glass of sangria with a couple rose petals floating on the surface.
As a lover of rose, I couldn’t wait to try Isabel, but it’s much too sweet for me. Although this fragrance didn’t work for me, I’d say it’s playful, flirty, and carefree. And if you love this scent, you’d be happy to know that the sillage is noticeable and the scent lasts many hours. 3/5

I definitely smell the sangria in this perfume. The rose is a not artificial smelling and well-balanced with the other notes. It is a tart type of rose. Overall, the perfume is a tiny bit sweet but overall tart and fresh.

I kept waiting for the roses, but they didn’t show. This made me sad, as I am very fond of both roses and the Tocca range in general.
On my skin (and on my clothing) essentially this was a flurry of raging synthetic florals, loudly but artfully arranged.
It isn’t really an oriental, but it is strong, sweet, enduring, and very contemporary.

If you enjoy smelling like pure roses then this might be your perfume. On me, it’s hard to detect anything other than rose and a very very faint whiff of vanilla depending on the environment. I enjoy wearing this outdoors because it helps filter out the outdoorsy scent that lingers on my skin overtime. I’ve noticed that when wearing Isabel outside, the sweetness is amplified and it almost smells like a nice lotion (which could be good or bad depending on the person). I got this in the travel size since I mostly wear it out but I don’t think I’ll buy the full version. Although I do LOVE rose scented products, this one just lacks the complexity that I’m looking for, especially with it being an “oriental” perfume.

I’ve been searching for a rose based fragrance that really does smell like fresh roses, not like a rose scented perfume. Ha, not sure if that makes sense when read, but anyhow I’ve finally found what I’ve been craving in this perfume! Fresh roses are my favorite smell in the whole world, and this perfume does it right!

Odd…I never noticed the rose in this. Very floral. Not my typical. But I utterly love it!

This a a beautiful rose scent. The pear note is very noticeable. Very powerful and long lasting. Has a nice caramel drydown. Love it!

I’m in love. I don’t know what it is and maybe its the rose + Amber combo that I love so much but this perfume has me smelling myself all day! It last that long on me so that I can keep smelling the lingering essence. Reading the notes here I find a few surprise notes but overall such a lovely scent!

Very pleasant! Soft, delicate, nicely done, I can see myself wearing it in spring!! I cannot see how it would turn into something “vile” unless maybe this is reserved for women only!!
I will never get why guys wear perfumes designed for women!! So weird !!!
Anyhow, it is more than a rose scent to my nose, there is a brightness, and a note that got some punch, maybe the sangria…all in all, nice creation!!

Such a fan of this fragrance. I really, really hope it does not get discontinued. It’s one of those that works well on my skin for some mysterious reason, but I can see how others would not be into it or find it bland. The notes work in perfect harmony together and I feel like a walking bouquet, but not in a loud, powerhouse way. The very faint leather and amber notes deepen this fragrance, and the bergamot and fruitier notes in the opening just add an amazing lushness to it. I love this and wish it were available in a set with lotion and shower gel–would definitely buy and layer it up!

This smelled so good in Sephora. And on a tester strip it smelled pleasant as well. But on my skin it turned into some sort of vile freak of nature. Like rancid salt mixed with a flower that had fungus growing on it. I don’t know why my skin hated this so much but I do not like it.

    This fragrance is amazing.
Primarily a rose scent, with a very soft note of leather underneath. The orange is also noticeable. It kind of smells like I am wearing a brand new leather jacket while sitting in a rose garden, peeling a fresh orange. Mixed together, everything is sooooo nice. I tend to notice the pear and vanilla much later on.
I actually wasn’t going to buy this at first (I had purchased Tocca’s Stella instead), but realized that I kept smelling my hand where I’d sprayed a tester three hours after I left the store. I was so impressed by the interplay of the notes, the longevity of the perfume, and the softness of the rose that I drove back and exchanged my bottle of Stella for Isabel.
I get compliments on this perfume every single time I wear it. I love it.

    “Winner winner chicken dinner!”
Soft, fresh, LASTING rose. Made more complex by the subtle guaiac, sangria, and leather notes. At last, a Tocca I can wear!

Received a sample in a recent Birchbox. It’s true to the Tocca style, light, pretty, inoffensive, floral. Love the bottles, the names are sweet, it’s all a bit twee (not bad, just not me).
I voted dislike, since i don’t quite enjoy wearing it. It’s not awful, it’s fine, just meh.

A beautiful rose fragrance, very light, feminine and soft.
