Yummy. Minimal longevity, but a great price point

I love irish cream, I would bathe in it if that were possible, so when this arrived today I was hopping up and down. but once I smelled it, I found myself sort of disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great scent. Very real, but I think it smells quite similar to DFM’s white russian. I have that too, so I’ll have to compare the two to be more accurate, but those were my first thoughts. It’s creamy, sweet, gorgeous, probably great in winter, but not what I was expecting. I will give it a few more wears before I say any more.

This review is for the Demeter Irish Cream Roll on Oil.
I consider myself a Bailey’s Irish Cream Connoisseur…hmm hmm, meaning there is always a bottle around somewhere….
Demeter Irish Cream is not Baileys. I would say it was its cheaper copycat cousin, the cheapo bottle you buy at the Bottle Shop and then wish you had splurged on the real thing.
Lots of Vanilla, Cream, Sugar and Caramel. There is a hint of Chocolate but no Whisky note for me. I think the lack of a Whisky note is because this is oil not alcohol based.
It is a very nice fragrance and I absolutely love wearing it. Makes me feel delicious and warm. I also notice the warmer you are the further the sillage.
I highly recommend purchasing Demeter fragrances in oil form as they seem to last longer and project further.
Great with Prada Candy sprayed over the top, gives Prada some depth and longevity.

☆ This is a FABULOUS scent! ☆
First spray I smell whiskey, a subtle cocoa, sweet, vanilla.
Within the first 10-15 minutes a milky creamy accord steps forward, and shortly after I begin to detect subtle caramel aspect that makes the whole perfume DELICIOUS!
It is very realistic — Irish Cream. I get hints of the cacao, caramel intermingling w/ a sweet creamy vanilla milk that is almost nutty. The whiskey note is there but it blends very nicely.
A yummy milky sweet gourmand that has some depth, variations, and GREAT longevity!
The first time I wore this scent, it lasted most of the day and I could smell it on myself in the morning. So I would say it should last at least 10 hours. Because it is a Demeter, I did spray about 8 sprays.
It doesn’t waft, so sillage is close, which I love.
Now, I am off to find that bottle of Bailey’s… ❉
