Great projection and silage with average longevity… modern scent. Could be unisex … unique and memorable
Compliment getter and fantastic for daily usage and office

I got good performance with this, but unfortunately couldn’t stand the smell.

Bought this one for a nice fresh daily office wear after many YouTube recommendations.
Good projection and longevity and liked by everyone who smells it! Apply in the morning and can still detect it on my skin after 10+ hours at work in the gym!
I love how the cinnamon comes through and provides some spicy structure to stop the raspberry from becoming to cloyingly sweet!

very clean fresh fragrance I use year round in Arizona 2 sprays in the summer heat and 5 sprays in the winter…

A lighter, fresher version of Joop Homme. It’s nice, but if you don’t like the Joop notes – you probably won’t like this.

An absolute masterpiece fragrance with a bargain basement price-tag. Raspberry chocolate opening evolves into a cinnamon vanilla strudel, then finishes as a vanilla/sandalwood dream that manages to be crisp… and smooth… all at the same time. All the best parts of Creed Original Santal without any of the price. Get your nose on this. Wear it. Let the snobs hate while the compliments accumulate!!

I bought this back in April and wore it a couple of times but I just wasn’t into it at all. I feel like I fell for the massive Youtube hype train about this fragrance.
The label ‘fresh’ given to this scent is quite misleading. It’s very sweet but yes compared to many super-sweet frags it is relatively fresh. I find this scent very unisex, yep the lovely ladies could easily wear this one, it’s not ‘manly’ at all.
I figured I’d give this stuff another go in cooler weather so today I wore it and whilst I didn’t dislike it as much as before, it’s really not much of a ‘like’ either. For something with so many listed notes I find it very one-dimensional (don’t know how anyone can pick out specific notes apart from sugar & raspberry fabric softener!!) and it stays pretty much the same throughout it’s duration so if you like the opening you’re sorted, if not then get the scrubbing brush out.
I was doing the dishes earlier and my raspberry washing liquid smelled quite similar if a tad more natural (it’s an eco brand!). Performance is decent without being a beast, very good value for money if you like the scent and it’s (currently) easy to find online at great prices. However I’ll stick to the fantastic MB Legend line.

it is okay perfume, good scent but moderate longevity and sileage.

My wife said it reminded her of a rich old lady who’s washing machine broke so she had to go to the public laundromat. I agree. This is not masculine at all. Smell’s like a rich elderly woman went to the theater. Really terrible. However, if you like powdery, old money, raspberry cloying scents that last a really long time get this. I for one wish I hadn’t.

Absolutely one of the best affordable fragrances out there, long lasting 9+ and great sillage. beast mode !! Compliment getter as well . One of my favourites on my shelf, blind buy? don ‘t hesitate!!

One of the freshest scents to my nose. I am constantly in search of fresh scents that aren’t too aquatic, sporty, or citrusy. Those particular categories tend to come off generic or overdone, like the CK Ones and Nautica Voyages of the fragrance world. I tend to go for the more luxury soap freshies and clean green scents, like Prada Infusion d’Homme, Prada Amber Pour Homme, Prada L’homme, Creed Original Vetiver/Mugler Cologne, Green Irish Tweed/Cool Water, Dunhill Icon, Uomo? Moschino, and Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme.
Mont Blanc Individuel is a true heavy hitter in the soapy/freshie genre. Smells like a dryer sheet. Basically a fragrance for guys who don’t like wearing colognes or guys who have girlfriends who dislike strong scents.
I like to spray it behind my ears and on the shoulders of my shirt. Lasts quite a while on clothing and goes along with the fresh out of the dryer vibe. Great performance for the price. It will always be a part of my Fall and Spring rotations.

I bought this direct from a U.K. department store when it was released and wore it often. I immediately loved it and felt it was different to my other scents at the time. Never really thought of the Joop comparison until today, I guess there’s some similarities but Joop is a bomb and nowhere near as subtle as this. I’ve had this so long it was marked under my ‘I had it’ section on here, I’d forgotten I still had the original bottle! I found it this week with about 15ml left and decided to give it a run out after all these years. Still like it! So creamy and fresh. Yes it’s synthetic (as are most fragrances) but it doesn’t bother me, it’s got a lovely distinct smell and it’s fun to wear. Sillage is healthy and longevity is not an issue as this stays around all day.

  15. :

    3 out of 5

This was a fragrance, I remember passing up every time I was in the Department stores back in 2003. In 2018, I got to see what all the hype was about. It actually lives up to the hype. This stuff is addictive and a site to smell once its airborne. I rather save my money, and buy this instead of Creed Original Santal. Don’t get me wrong Santal is more natural and slightly smoother as a niche scent, but you can’t ignore Individual. Individual is chic magnet.

I finally got a decant of MBI, and I have to agree with Jeremy Fragrance description as a “Raspberry Fabric Softener”. It is synthetic but a quality “synthetic” but in a very good way. I like the smell of the scent, but sadly I’m getting horrible performance:
    Projection only 30~40min
    Longevity of 2~3 hrs
I wonder if it has been Reformulated? Since I do like the smell, would a newly reformulated JOOP perform better than MontBlanc Individuel? Has anyone try them both?

  17. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t understand people complaining about longevity or performance…this is a beast as far as I’m concerned. Lasts all day.

  18. :

    3 out of 5

C’mon! How can anyone compare this with Joop? That’s crazy talk.
Individuel is a great fragrance, not cheap or in your face. Not a “see you outside in the back of my car” fragrance.
But here also is its weakness. As good as it is with its subtle, sweet raspberry opening and better than most, (Mont Blanc) amber & musk dry down, where does it really distinguish itself? That exceptional raspberry/fruit opening fades far too quickly. Projection overall is weak to moderate depending on your skin type, and longevity is again barely moderate.
A 4-5 hour office or work day scent? Yeah, that is probably it. There are a dozen solid “night out” choices that give better performance and reaction.
I find myself enjoying Individuel as a 2-4 hour fragrance that I will often use for meetings or dinners where I don’t care if anyone else notices it. I still love it.

It’s not discontinued its widely available in the UK. Its a beautiful fragrance. But definitely need to go heavy with the sprays.

  20. :

I have reviewed this before, a while ago, but it appears this has sadly been DISCONTINUED 🙁
It is not a usual scent for me, as my daily drivers are: Angel, Opium, Tobacco Vanille, Angel Muse and now Angel Fruity Fair.
MontBlanc Individuel really does smell like a very expensive and fresh masculine-fruity fabric softener. 100% not offensive. Not great sillage, but longevity is surprisingly very good!
This is the PERFECT work scent, errands, lunch, gym (1-2 sprays Max), first date….
I do not know why MontBlanc killed this scent. It is one of the cleanest, most versatile scents on the market, and one helluva bargain!!!

Blind bought a year ago and have been wearing it ever since.
This is a sweet, pleasant crowd pleaser. Doesn’t get over bearing but lasts for a long time.
Highly recommended for it’s bottom end price and high quality juice.

  22. :

    4 out of 5

    Great office/everyday fragrance!
Montblanc Individuel is a very versatile, clean smelling and inoffensive perfume that is ideal for everyday use in the office, school or work.
The scent kicks off citrusy and then switches to a sweet smell reminiscent of raspberries and pine (juniper?).
Sillage is weak, sticking close to the skin and so ideal for small spaces where you don’t want to overpower or offend.
Duration is long, lasting over 12 hours for skin scent.
This is very high quality juice for the price you’re paying and its versatile and inoffensive nature gives Montblanc Individuel a great value for money.
I could see a woman wearing this as well, as the scent is very soft and not overly masculine.
    Presentation: 9/10

I really like this fragrance. It projects it last it’s versatile it’s probly one of the most non offensive fragrances out there. It smell like a creamy luxury fabric softener with a hint of sweet raspberry. Everytime I use a cologn my son wants to as well. I bought him montblanc individual. I’ll walk in his room and he smells amazing. Like all his cloths are so fresh and clean even tho they might not be being a boy hahahah I will also sometimes spray my comforter and it smells amazing lol this is a wonderful frag especially for the price.

Jeremy Fragrance hyped this one, and for good reason, a raspberry, fabric softener scent that projects very well on my skin, a compliment getter for sure. I love wearing this during the fall and winter. This fragrance will always be in my arsenal.

I don’t even know (after being watching reviews) why people hate Joop and love/like this over Joop. Both are the same! Even joop has better projection and better drydown. I’m thinking about perception and bad reviews avout joop, instead of that I guess Joop could be over this for real.
Blind bought because reviews and bam! After smelling just though: this shit can’t be better that joop I swear.

This is a great spice cologne from Mont Blanc. I saw this cologne at my local discounter store, they had few bottles. I know Mont Blanc makes some very good smelling colognes, so I bought this one. Great to wear during fall, spring, and winter times! Good for wearing your black leather jacket, just couple of sprays and you are good. You can get this for around 20 USD and I recommend you get it, long term investment.

I bought this perfume after reading reviews on fragrantica and looking at video reviews on youtube(Jeremy made serveral people buy it) and reviews came out very convincing. This was a blind buy at a good price. Bottle looks nice and smell is fresh but longevity let me down. I am wearing this fragrance as an office scent and it lasts for 2-3 hours. I can barely smell it on my skin and not even on my clothes(where it should last longer). It is EDT, I bought it as an original from a well known online shop, it is not a watered down version or fake(as some youtube review says that original shall last). Did you experience same problem with longevity? Apart from this if you do not mind applying the EDT every 2 hours, it is a good buy. Recommended as smells fresh and sophisticated. Looking forward your feedback

I got a bottle of this after seeing it on Jeremy Fragrance’s YouTube channel. It smells good and I like the mixture of scents. I’m not really the best at detecting smells and I have difficulty detecting the individual scents.

I don’t understand the similarities to Original Santal. That one has elegance and lovely smooth sandalwood, this is synthetic and sweet and the Sandalwood is not prominent.
It’s not bad though. It isn’t particularly cloying and it actually smells good. It’s well blended and pleasant.

Husband wanted to pick this up as he heard good things about it, wasn’t in the shops around our home so we picked it up a 2.5oz for under $30 on a fragrance website.
So when it arrived and I get my first sniff I liked it, and of course once my Husband wore it I picked up the similarities to Joop! Homme as soon as it got past the top notes. I was interested to smell the chocolate and raspberry notes, but were not picking up on either. I’ll update my review once my Husband throws this into his rotation and I’ve had a chance to smell this as it evolves and at its base.
Not only is this fragrance reminiscent of Joop! Homme but its also got a lot of similarities with Joop! Nightflight. If you look up all the notes, the top has the addition of coriander and mint, the heart has violet and no almond or LOTV, and the base adds in raspberry, chocolate, oakmoss, vetiver and has no tonka. The opening to me is very much similar to Nightflight with some coriander added, the mid is very similar to Joop! Homme and the base should hopefully be his own Man. So I wonder if that was what the perfumer/house had in mind? Its like they were trying to make a cologne that the 40 something and up crowd would like because it was reminiscent of an old favorite, and different enough that the young men wouldn’t know this isn’t as original or as individual as the name implies. No matter! It smells good, its a great price, and I think the bottle makes you feel debonair because its shaped like a shiny flask. So hold onto that bottle, feel a little like Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin for a minute while you spray yourself down, and go forth smelling like an updated version of 1995…

I’ve been wanting to get this frag for quite awhile now. So decided to check amazon,. Somebody there must really this one because at $75, they must want it all to themselves. Just received my bottle of this from an eBay seller for $19 with shipping yesterday. Along with Armaf’s La Parfait for the same price. I immediately took a shower because I was just getting off work after 10 hours. I was definitely anxious to try both out, but more so this one. I sprayed one spray on my wrist to take it in. I was immediately impressed, I mean extremely impressed by the opening, it was beautiful! I’m no frag connoisseur, or a niche head or whatever, so I can’t pick out individual notes. Unless it’s something I can recognize like the raspberry in this. I’m still smelling it as a skin scent after 16 – 17 hours!!!! You read that correctly, 16 – 17 hours and still there. Got to take into consideration also that I stayed indoors after applying. Not sure if it smells synthetic, juicy, or natural. Reminds me of a candy from my youth, the raspberry dry down part. I don’t have the box, so I can’t check the batch code.
And on a side note: the Armaf La Parfait is still there also but just a bit more . Smells like CNIM at this juncture.
I don’t know what Original Santal smells like. Since this is the inspiration for that one, and that’s niche. It has to smell amazazing lol! I do have an Original Santal oil, smells similar Individuel, but it’s very lite. I definitely would recommend this Individuel for anyone interested in it. Full bottle worthy? Most DEFINITELY!!!!
    Smells amazazing!
Longevity off the charts (for me at least)!
    Sillage is very modest!
Fantastic blind buy for me, happy to finally have this one in my collection…

So I found a bottle of Joop! Homme someone bought my dad and decided to give it a sniff. I instantly get reminded of Individuel but just think how much more smoother and better smelling this is. It’s so nice yet has a little bit of character to it. Amazing for the price and worth the noise. This should have been Mont Blanc’s flagship fragrance but instead they chose legend to build around whilst discontinuing this.

I unfortunately have to put this on my growing shelf of fragrances I bought blindly which give me a headache, so I’m not going to wear them again. I do like it otherwise. Could have been nice. It is not about it being “too sweet” or anything like that. Just some unspecified synthetic ingredient I have a reaction to.

@Onlineturk Despite having a large collection and perfume “knowledge”, his tastes are basic, guided by the women he’s been attracted to, or just easily forgettable. He’s still a toddler to me, and I hope he’ll grow to appreciate more complex scents(not saying that I’m very experienced).

Total Blind Buy and so glad I did. Wow, this is so unlike anything I wear. I have over 50 fragrances, but my “go to” fragrances are Angel, Angel Muse, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Opium and Cher Uninhibited. I for sure always gravitate to warm, spicy, Oriental, Gourmands and patchouli scents.
This Mont Blanc is fresh, clean and the Juniper Berries are very, very prominent once the dry down begins. They are softened with a hint of fresh sweetness. This is a gorgeous scent. Total appropriate for office, date night, lounging at home or using a spritz or 2 for the gym. This scent is just so clean, and inviting. Wonderful, and such a bargain too!

This is the first fragrance I bought with my own money and I do not regret it. It is quite affordable when compared to other fragrances which do not even perform as well as this one. It is a very safe fragrance to use on all occasions and I personally use it in the office and casual outings. It makes you smell like fresh clothes with a hint of raspberry, very non-offensive and soft. Lasts a work day but projection does fade after 6 hours. It is still highly recommended.

  54. :

    3 out of 5

I got this as a Creed Santal substitute, hearing that it was a dead ringer.
It’s damned close, and when you factor in price that’s saying something, but they’re definitely distinguishable side by side. Santal is warmer and spicier, and lasts longer. Individuel is very close (or Santal is close to IT), but its a little more powdery and Joopish (though its far better than Joop).
Not bad at all. A great scent but if this is what Creed was aping with Santal, I’d have to say they did Mont Blanc one better.
On its own merits though I definitely like it. And for the price it’s pretty hard to argue with.
    7.5/10

  55. :

This is some more extremely high quality juice for the price you pay. It’s a light and fruity sandalwood cologne, with a backdrop of cinnamon, lavender, and musk creating a wonderful clean and appealing fresh laundry vibe. Interesting to me that it’s being hyped now, as I smelled this literally everywhere back in the 2000s. I would ask about the fragrance but everybody would tell me “oh, it’s just Tag body spray man!” It seems times have changed quite a bit and people are more open to talking about their fragrance choices.
This can be used in any situation I think except for extreme heat, where I think Dior Homme Cologne would do the job nicely as a citrus based laundry musk cologne. The fruityness and spices make this one a little too much for any weather over 80F.

  56. :

    5 out of 5

Not sure how others smelled it, but personally I did not enjoy a single bit of this purely synthetic chemical composition.

  57. :

    3 out of 5

Blind buy for $20 due to all the hype. Looking at the notes, you wouldn’t think they go together but they do blend wonderfully, without any single note stealing the spotlight.
To me, it just smells CLEAN and masculine. It’s inviting, and seems like it could be worn any season and occasion. $20 will get you a 1.7oz at Ross or a 2.5oz on eBay, and it’s well worth it.

  58. :

    4 out of 5

Although I do like the smell of this one… two sprays are enough to make me feel nauseous :-/ So I just spray once. It’s a shame because it does smell good! To me it evokes when you wash all your bed sheets and hang them outside on a warmer yet still fresh spring day.
So, very good scent. Not the most masculine but still alright. And it lasts a long time.

  59. :

    4 out of 5

Not sure I have much to add to the conversation here except to say that this stuff is exceptionally potent. Longevity should be expressed in terms of its half-life. Beautiful fragrance. Less cloying than Joop! and at $20 for 75 ml, it’s an absolute steal compared to Original Santal.

  60. :

    4 out of 5

for the price, near unbeatable. opens up with a very clean, dryer-sheets type of smell. a little bit synthetic and definitely smells cheaper than Original Santal in the opening, but still very nice.
after the first 20-30 minutes, dries down into a softer scent. quite a bit of sweetness to this one, and although it’s very versatile I’d say for anything under 60-70 degrees and you’d be good to go. can get cloying in the summer heat.
longevity is about 8-10 hours and solid projection on this one as well. definitely a worthy blind buy if you’re thinking about it.
finally, does it smell like original santal? yes, it’s similar. slightly sweeter and more synthetic, more of a raspberry vibe in this one but extremely similar and most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

  61. :

This was a blind buy based on the hype, and i’m positively surprised! Smells amazing and fits in perfectly with my other fragrances. Happyyyyyyyyy 🙂

I just bought this one as a blind buy, I know Joop and after reading many reviews here I decided to give this one a go. I love the bottle and the smell itself. However I took it to work today to let my work colleagues (girls mostly) pass their judgement. And to my surprise here are the reactions: “This smells like an air refreshener for toillet” and “This smells just like my father”. So be carefull with this one as it may not be so wonderful to everyone. Either way I like it and will continue to wear it despite this.

  63. :

    4 out of 5

Bought this blind as I live out in the sticks and can’t sample cologne anywhere near me. Also, I’m a bit new to modern cologne having not worn any since I rocked Drakkar back when I was in college. Some of you may find it refreshing to find a review from someone that really doesn’t know how to describe scents outside of the most basic terms. Lol.
So, this smells like a dryer sheet to me. Yes, it’s a “clean” smell…just like you would expect from a dryer sheet! It’s in no way offensive but I don’t generally go hunting for dryer sheets to rub all over me if I want to smell good. So I got it but won’t ever be using it. Some of my friends that dont wear cologne like to spray some of mine on them when they see I’ve got some bottles. I’ll be steering them towards this one so it gets used up!
Now I’ve heard that different colognes smell differently from person to person based on body chemistry. So it could just be me that brings out the dryer sheet in Individuel! Who knows. That’s just what my sniffer tells me.
Update: I now have so many fragrances that are better than this that I see no point in keeping it. It’s rather boring to me and I am simply not attracted to the dryer sheet scent.

This Montblanc fragance was a blind bought. After listening many reviewrs and opinions on youtube I decide to buy. Not expensive, it seemed a good dea.
Clean scent, clear, extremely sweet but not gourmant. A light sweetness, very light. In my skin performance was extremely poor, and sillage and projection was disappointing.
I do jot recognize this as a great Creed Clone and in my opinion it is probably the worst of ny three scents from Montblanc House.
Soory for people who loves it, but this blind buy has not been a good selection.

Nice Fragrance for all weathers. Pal Zileri Uomo, smells very similar to this, slightly sweeter, but very similar. Longevity, I’d say is very similar too.
This is cheap enough, but Pal Zileri, is even cheaper £8 for 50ml.
Why buy creed at £200 plus when u can buy this at 10 times cheaper!!
Showing of is a different matter!
Might as well put a big board on your neck saying am wearing creed

This is the only fragrance in my collection that has started as one that I didn’t much care for and later became one of my favorites. I get a very distinct dryer sheet vibe that is very soothing and relaxing.
    Scent: 10/10
    Longevity: ~6 hours
    Sillage: Moderate
    Value: A+
    Versatility: B
    Bottle Design: C+

Opens up with that notorious joop scent but dries down to a nice clean scent. What could be wrong with smelling clean? For the $35 I spent on it I consider it a great buy. If u don’t like smelling clean, then not for you…if u want to spend more, Creed makes a good clone of this..

Scent is great at the opening but the dry down is amazing.

I bought this fragrance based on Jeremy Fragrance videos. And I was wrong. Bottle of 75 ml costs 35 bucks, it’s not too much but don’t worth, trust me. Good scent, poor projection, middle lasting. If you don’t care about money, go for Creed Original Santal, if you want to give less money, go for JOOP! Homme. Regards!

It’s an ok scent. Nothing too special. Too synthetic in my opinion. Better options available at this price

I never liked Mont Blanc Individuel. I think it’s an OK fragrance, but never a great nor even a good fragrance. HOWEVER, women love this fragrance! I really have no idea why but women really like this fragrance, and I’m fine with that!
I blind bought this fragrance because it’s so cheap, and at first I disliked it. I didn’t hate it, but I was like why does it smell so synthetic and sweet?! In my mind this just smells too sweet, but not good sweet, more like over barring sweet. And I love sweet fragrances. Ultra Male by JPG, Armani Code Profumo, Thierry Mugler Pure Malt, Valentino Uomo Intense, etc. are all sweet fragrances I adore! However, this didn’t do it for me.
HOWEVER, women love this fragrance, and I HAVE NO IDEA WHY! But hey, whatever gets the job done I guess. If you’re planning to purchase this, use this fragrance at places where you don’t care about smelling good too much, such as going to the gym or the grocery store. Spraying this at the office is great as well as it’s not offensive and last a good 6+ hours.
    Scent: 5.5/10

    Sillage: 7/10

Opening is nice and inoffensive. Mostly a blast of berry, cinnamon, and vanilla. Downsides to this fragrance are that after a few minutes it becomes a skin scent and even then only lasts a few hours. It also has a generic scent – nothing that will displease you but nothing that will wow you either. Average ratings from the females. If you are on a budget it may be worth buying but I don’t see all the hype that this gets in the community at all.

Came across this gem at a Burlington Coat Factory and was surprised to see it there! I bought it up for $20 and was also shopping for a new suit as well.
I didn’t like the opening as much as the raspberry blast was a bit too much for my nose. It started to transition and I could then pick up hints of a licorice kind of smell and a little bit of that chocolate note. This one was a sleeping giant, because wow! It transformed into this leathery, creamy, sweet scent! I couldn’t stop smelling it!
The projection was about 2 hours on my skin and the longevity was great! It lasted for about 6 to 7 hours overall on my skin. Truly a gem and believe the hype! I certainly see this one being a head turner in the office and what luck I found a great new suit to go with my great new cologne! 8.5/10 for me! Cheers!

The opening is freakin amazing! The dry down is too soft. -As my wife puts it, “for a sensitive man.”

I have to admit, I am baffled as to why this is a popular scent. I bought it based on the rave reviews it gets from a lot of people. So I thought i’ll take a punt cause i got it for a very low price.
It arrived Monday, it was listed on eBay on the Tuesday.
I found it a very synthetic smell. Almost like there was too much going on. The smell felt very unnatural to me. Possibly a lesson in try before you buy I suppose.

This is soooo clean! The best part is that it last all day. It may be hyped but i love it anyway. I think it´s perfect in office environment. I
