I’ve tried 2 (this one and Blood Orange) of the Pacific scents and they both have a salty Play Doh quality that shows up after about 5 minutes and never goes away.
I can’t get past it and it ruins the scents for me.
Will not be purchasing any more of this line.

I do find that the Coconut is not as coconuty as you would think. I actually thought this smelled more like vanilla than the vanilla one did. This and the Gardenia one are my faves. Light scent that you can layer with, scent lasts pretty well, not too overpowering or drying on skin/hair.

Medical cherry plastic morphing into almond play dough ending in a sweet vanilla gourmand. No coconut. Light to no projection, decent longevity
Edited to add that I finally smelled the coconut. It is an almost bubblegum sweet coconut right at first spray and is easy to miss due to how fleeting it is

I received a roll on of this in a swap. I LOVE it! I can’t believe when I read Play-Doh!? But I have it on right now and can totally understand it! It doesn’t smell like Play-Doh but it sure resembles it!
I think this is a great scent! I’ll carry it around this summer. Good for touch ups and quite strong for awhile but yet, shouldn’t bother anyone near like a spray can do. I love the glass tube but I do NOT like the metal roller ball when they don’t work properly…VERY annoying! I have one that works and one that gets me grumbling.
The vanilla in this works for me. It’s more of a coconut cookie than perfume. This is gourmand to my nose. It’s a fat free treat that will end up making eat too many cookies!
Serious? noooo….but FUN and summery? Oh you bet!

It contains notes of vanilla, coconut, vetiver, and ambrosia flower.
I smell coconut and bamboo. Fresh, not creamy sweet. A bit unappealing to me.
And this has longevity issues out the wazoo.
    I’ll pass, thanks!

I like many of Pacifica’s scents, but this one disappointed me. It smells very synthetic to my nose. A suntan lotion-esque coconut is present in the beginning but soon fades, leaving a sickeningly sweet fake vanilla that lingers for several more hours. It’s not gourmand, just kind of plastic smelling. Headache-inducing. This one is going into the donation box. Try it on skin before you buy.

To me this smells exactly like coconut play dough

The heart of Indian Coconut Nectar is a beautiful sugared, fruity coconut-vanilla, warm and just a touch woody. It’s very delicious and cozy on this icy autumn night.
I loved this fragrance in the bottle and about an hour after spraying it on, though for the first 45 minutes or so on my skin, it smelled like the strongest, sweetest Play Doh I have ever encountered. (Especially for an inexpensive, eco-friendly perfume – wow, it’s got great strength.)
While a bit disappointed, I’m not surprised – I’m no stranger to Play Doh accords showing up on my skin in tropical-vanilla perfumes. It happens notably with Dior Addict, Kenzo Amour, and Lancôme Hypnôse. It also happens that I love tropical vanillas, and the heart of this one is still appealing enough that this is going on my “like” list. While I wouldn’t encourage blind-buy, I think that for coconut and vanilla lovers, it’s certainly worth trying.

Picked this up as an impulse buy, and I ended up really enjoying it. I got a set that included a rollerball of the fragrance with the matching body butter. The scent of the body butter is much creamier and richer than the perfume alone. I recommend layering products with this particular scent. I don’t get play-doh vibes from this like others do, thankfully.

    Oily synthetic coconut candy.
It starts off quite candied coconut, loud and very synthetic, then turns withing seconds to oily coconut with more doses of candies.
Very synthetic and not that good quality.
After around 20 minutes, this blend goes quite oily coconut with not bad quality at that price! it goes quite impressive coconut oil with slight milkiness in it.
Edit (28th Aug 2017) Quite impressive! with this price i can get that kind of milky coconut with sugar powder! it is gourmand, but it is quite impressively delicious!

I have the rollerball of this perfume and from the bottle it smells nice and coconut-y, but as soon as I put it on my skin I detect a strong plastic/Play-doh note that ends up overpowering the coconut. This is the first time I’ve detected the dreaded “Play-doh” note in a perfume and it honestly ruins this one for me. This is my first Pacifica perfume and to be honest, I was expecting more based on all the great reviews for this perfume and brand. I’ll use up the rollerball, but will not repurchase.

Coconut is, in my experience, a tough note to get absolutely right. A cheap synthetic coconut note can turn too plasticky, too Play-doh-like, too buttery in an unpleasant way. I’ve had all of the above on my search for the perfect coconut.
This one falls firmly into the plastic-play-doh camp. I think this would do better sprayed on fabric than on skin – because when first sprayed this is fresh, pretty, and light. It’s only in the dry down on skin after about 10-15 minutes that it exposes its cloying synthetic side. So if you want coconutty-smelling sheets or curtains, this might do the trick but otherwise, for me, it’s a no-go.

Cherry Chapstick! Absolutely Cherry Chapstick. It’s really good though. My boyfriend loves it. It’s coconut that doesn’t smell woody or synthetic. It dries down to powdery sweet coconut cotton candy. It becomes almost almondy. The roller ball smells better than the spray version. If you’re looking for a coconut perfume and none of them seem to suit you, try the Indian Coconut Nectar roller ball. I prefer this to Coco Vanille by Comptoir Sud Pacifique, VS Coconut Passion, Yves Rocher Noix de Coco, and BBW Exotic Coconut.

I’ve tried several Pacifica fragrances, and this is the only one I don’t like so far. It smells like a synthetic, cakey vanilla to me, with a fake buttery note that makes me feel slightly nauseous. I’m not sure where the India part comes in.

This perfume smells like coconut yogurt 🙂

    Yep…Coconut Play Doh!
LOL, and it smells sooo yummy it does not bother me one bit! 😉
Very creamy, milky coconut which is comforting to me in some way?
Ohhh sooo soft Vanilla which IMO is more like a soft, pure Vanilla Bean.
And then there is the light but heavenly swirling aura of Vetiver.
    Simple ingredients and simply good!
I really like this one and it’s on the verge of love?
I only purchase it in a roller ball because this is a travel type of fragrance for me, as in traveling to the beach, the Bahamas, Hawaii and anywhere that has a tropical vibe.
With that being said, it’s not like a suntan lotion or oil type of scent. It’s always kept in my train case, ready to go on its next travel adventure.
Longevity is about 4 hours and sillage is good.

I love anything that smells like vanilla or coconut. So I thought I would love this but, I didn’t like it. It smells like straight up Play-Doh. It smells like somebody opened up a can of Play-Doh as soon as you spray it! I don’t like the smell of Play-Doh so I didn’t like it. Now I’m still on the hunt for a great coconut scented perfume.

  18. :

Creamy coconut and vanilla, reminds me of a colada. Yum. Instant sunny sweetness. A simple fragrance that garners many compliments. The spray is best. The roll on is good, but I found the pot of sachet had a bit of a chemical scent. Get the spray. I sometimes layer it with a bit of Chance eau Tendre. Affordable, delectable, uplifting.

This little gem is one of my favorites from the Pacifica line. It’s such a foodie/bakery scent. I actually love dabbing these on my stuff animals to give them a remiscent of my old childhood scent, somewhere along the lines of play doh and sweetness. I happen to like mixing a bit with the island vanilla to tone down the creaminess and it makes a fantastic scent to wear.

  20. :

Nothing very Indian or tropical about it. Just a very pleasant coconut cream cake frosting.

I smell more vanilla than coconut. Nice sweet perfume.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

This is more of a sugary coconut than a suntan oil scent. It’s nice and lasts a long time, but is cloying. Too bad, I’m still looking around for a milky, lightly sweet coconut scent.
I get no vetiver from this at all.

  23. :

    3 out of 5

For some reason the roller balls work better than the spray bottle, scent-wise. I like the vanilla one from Pacifica, too. Blood Orange scent reminds me of “the orange” when applied lightly on pulse points. Smells delicious and takes me to a tropical island… (I wish I was there). I want to believe their ingredients are less harmful compared to other manufacturers… Let’s hope that’s the case! 🙂

  24. :

    4 out of 5

This is a confusing perfume; first I hate it and then I love it. As other reviewers have said, it starts out as a very strong chemically, cloying marzipan, which I find really off-putting.
Then, once it has completely dried down, it becomes a soft, sweet vanilla-coconut that smells a lot like marshmallows, which I actually really like. I want to buy it for the dry down scent, but I don’t know if it’s worth dealing with the weird first half hour with every application.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

I love the smell of rich, milky coconut in real life, and when I started exploring the world of perfumes I thought I would enjoy it there as well. So I’ve been trying out a lot of different samples, hoping to find the perfect sweet delicious coconut dessert interpretation. I haven’t had much luck – it seems to be much easier to get that other kind of coconut just right, the light and sparkling summery kind that’s often complemented by citrus notes. The sweet kind that I wanted for the colder seasons is another matter: to me these scents are almost always just okay, too beachy or too cloyingly sweet or too synthetic, and often all of those at once.
I’d nearly given up when I tried this one, and I wasn’t expecting much at all. And to be sure, it’s just as (over)sweet as most of the others, and it’s far from natural-smelling. Still, and to my great surprise, it was love at first spray. It has all of the finesse of a bull in a china shop, there’s no subtlety about it at all – but boy, does it ever deliver on the sweet coconut dessert concept! I don’t know what makes me like this one so much more than all the others, I guess it just clicks – to me, it smells more or less exactly like those coconut cookies, sugary and sweet with lots of vanilla, and so, so delicious.
I have to be in the mood for it to appreciate it, otherwise I still think it’s “too much” just like the others, but when I am it’s glorious. I’m also not sure I’d recommend this to others, because I don’t really get why I like it so much myself, and I’ll take care to spray lightly when I wear it out in public, but I’m definitely buying a bottle some time soon (it’s cheap as well, yay!), and it’ll bring me so much joy.

I’ve tried this at least 3 times, really loving the idea and being a fan of Pacifica generally. Sadly, it smells of coconut, but more like coconut milk that was left out for a couple of days and has spoiled. I really like coconut smells usually.
It is the only Pacifica perfume I dislike. I have to wonder whether I am somehow coming across stale testers or am misinterpreting the vetiver and/or ambrosia flower scent/s. I am baffled why anyone would pair vetiver and coconut, rather than sandalwood.

  27. :

maybe it’s just me, but after the initial burst of coconut, about 2 minutes later, I got a very strong almond scent. Like marzipan, which I loathe. Then a few minutes after that it settled into a very warm, sweet, yummy vanilla-coconut. I wasn’t feeling it during the marzipan phase, but I think I need to go and get it now. It reminds me of a tropical beach.
Like with all perfumes on me it doesn’t last long at all, so I can see myself carrying the roller as well to keep reapplying the scent throughout the day.
It’s nothing complicated, but like others have said, it’s an utterly pleasant smell that brings a smile to my face.

I bought the roller ball version of this scent. This fragrance kind of smells like a tonka bean vanilla. It’s nothing amazing. But, for some reason, I love it. It’s an easy everyday perfume; and you can layer it with a lot of other scents. Sunscreen, cup cakes, the beach…all rolled into one. I think I am more inclined to like this one because of the natural ingredients. I always set the bar realistically when it comes to naturally scented body products at the drugstore. I’ve learned to appreciate them for what they are, and for how they benefit my body.

  29. :

Wow! What a great fragrance. This perfume smells like yummy coconut-vanilla goodness. I just can’t get enough. It’s creamy and warm and just makes you want to cuddle. It is also light and not overpowering. Even if you spray quite a bit, it’s not headache inducing. The only negative thing about it is the lasting power. You will definitely need to reapply several times (depending on your preference). On me, this does not last more than 2 hours.
If you want a perfume that is sweet (but not overly sweet), creamy, and warm then you should give this one a try.

And then Cabbage Patch doll head with a little spice.

Cupcakes, cheap ones, with the fake frosting. I can only assume it’s vanillin with all the baking I’ve done. I like it, despite smelling like a little kid birthday party.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

Almost more vanilla than coconut, and has an edge that I have to call perfume-y. It’s okay, but it’s not the fresh cool coconut milk scent I was hoping for

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve tried the roll-on and found it to be lovely: coconutty and vanilla-y, like a sweeter version of the sunscreen that my grandma would put on me when I was a small child and she’d take me to the lake. Better days. But I made the mistake of buying the solid perfume which, as other reviewers have noted, smells like something else from my childhood: Play-Doh! I’ll be buying the roll-on later, but steer clear of the solid perfume unless you want to smell like a kindergarten class.

  35. :

I have got to agree with Cake10, it smells like Play-Doh!! I’m happy to hear it’s not just me. The lotion also smells like Play-Doh. I loved the idea of this, as I am a lover of sweet scented coconut, but this is odd. Oddly plastic and strange on how manmade and not fresh or “organic” of smelling like fruits. I’m sorry it’s not for me, I feel like I was trapped in a Toys R Us, the first I wore this and the ever present “Play-Doh” note made itself quite obvious. Nope. Pure scrubber. Yuck

  36. :

    4 out of 5

At first I was so disappointed with this scent as I found it overwhelmingly sugary and sweet. And that’s coming from someone who loves sweet scents! It’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever come across so far, but oh boy has this grown on me! I reach for it quite often and it’s brilliant for layering. I use it with noa noa and I just found it works very well with Pacifica’s french lilac (which I’m not a big fan of on it’s own). It’s a lovely and uncomplicated scent. On me it’s just as much vanilla as coconut, maybe even more
I’ve grown to love this perfume. It’s very warm and comforting
Update: Loving this even more now. I keep reaching for it and it is brilliant for layering, just brilliant. There doesn’t seem to be a day that this perfumes feel wrong or off-putting, which is quite an achievement of it’s own.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

Right out of the bottle, this is the predictable coconut/vanilla scent you’d find in shampoo or body wash.
On my skin, it dries down to coconut and Play Doh. I have to keep reapplying to maintain something similar to the coconut and vanilla it smells like at first.
It’s a simple scent that I wore a lot when I worked in a restaurant with a smoker. The smell of this plus the smoke on my skin combined to something really interesting. Since then, I don’t really wear it anymore, so maybe this would be good for layering with another, smokey scent to give it a bit more depth.

Not at all impressed with this one. Plasticky coconut and artificial vanilla. And vetiver, you say? It’s not like any vetiver that I’m familiar with. Not even sure how to describe it, really. At a certain point in the drydown, you get a sense of what Pacifica was aiming for with this one. For a moment, it’s almost… nice. But the moment is fleeting. This perfume has the poorest longevity of any I’ve tried. It lasts maybe an hour, if that. This is overall a sweet, chemical smell. Not entirely unpleasant, but not really very good either.

  39. :

Very musty unpleasant coconut that dries down to a weird chemical scent.

sweet creamy coconut, not just for summer. i’m wearing this today in the freezing cold winter and it’s very warm and inviting. not suntan lotion like at all. lasting time on my skin is about 4 hrs. i also like that it’s a natural perfume. i love the pacifica line, it never seems to disappoint me. thumbs up!

I really like this one,it has a nice, creamy coconut scent, without smelling like a tanning oil.A little bit of the green coconut, like coconut water, with vanilla for added sweetness.I does smell almost exactly like Exotic coconut from B&BW which I also have,so layering it with the lotion is a good option for me.
There are a few reviews complaining about longevity.Frankly,I found it lasted fairly well, for a roll on,and all natural.I got a good 6 hours which i can’t say for some of my more expensive ones.
Overall,a great true coconut scent, without being cloyingly sweet, with decent sillage and moderate longevity.I would recommend this and will most like ly repurchase.

Doesn’t last long at all. I bought it in the roller form to carry with me. Pretty dissaponted. There’s no point if it won’t last more than 5 minutes!

Disappointed, two fold. First off, I bought the solid perfume…which has less fragrance than dollar store scented lip gloss. Useless as a “perfume.” But it did give me the opportunity to find out if this was the delicious natural-smelling coconut perfume I’m looking for. It isn’t.
It’s more of a sweet vanilla frosting with a plastic bite.
    I will continue my search.

Indian Coconut Nectar may be the coconut I’ve been searching for.I received this in an awesome sample swap.It reminds me of Limber de Coco(a creamy Puerto Rican Popsicle) that my grandmother makes in ice cube trays in the summer.Creamy, sweet and I thought I smelled a touch of Cinnamon. Maybe that is just me wanting some Limber? I will be purchasing a full bottle of this and I believe it will layer nicely with BBW Exotic Coconut Body Cream.Great job Pacifica.

I already have the soap and I felt totally in love with it so I decided to order the perfume..
When I got it I was a little desappointed.. It didn’t smell exactly like the soap.. At first it’s really strong it smells almost like a coughing syrup.. But after it’s alright..
    I was expecting more 🙁

There are very few coconut fragrances that I like, but I love Indian Coconut Nectar. The soft, milky scent is wonderful. It does not have a synthetic quality at all; it is a comforting, soothing, luxurious fragrance. This will definitely be part of my signature collection!

This fragrance is probably another one that made my top 5 I’d-want-it-with-me-on-a-deserted-island list! It instantly made me so happy because in just one whiff, it transported me back to one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been – Ubud, Bali.
I took a cooking class while I was there, and the only thing I can still remember how to make is the Bubuh Injin, which is the Indonesian Black Rice Pudding. It’s a simple recipe, but the combination is to die for. It’s probably my favorite dessert of all time. It calls for black rice, palm sugar, pandan leaves, and plenty of coconut cream. The pandan leaves are the *secret* ingredient because they add a “green and vanilla” flavor. This is exactly what this perfume smells like!! Sweetened coconut cream with just a hint of rice and green.
A new favorite of mine!! Thank you, Pacifica, as usual, you’ve taken me on a voyage in a bottle.

I dont get the milky that everyone is mentioning, it is more like a toasted coconut and vanilla scent.. I also get a light sandalwood although thats not one of the notes listed.
    I really like this

  52. :

Super sugary, slightly salty coconut meat with a woody/nutty element that reminds me of cold vanilla soy milk. The coconut has a fruity freshness in addition to the rich sweetness. Smells odd at first but give it 5-10 minutes, and it straightens right out. Good projection, average longevity. Smells exactly like coconut Lifesaver candy.
This is SO much more gourmand and comforting than any of the sweet celebrity scents I have sampled or bought recently, and it costs less too. Also, it is a million times richer and better than the reformulated Comptoir Sud Pacifique offerings with the same tropical theme.
It doesn’t smell true to life, but I don’t mind that about it. When it dries down, it smells quite pretty and nonchalant.
Coconut vanilla soy milk ice cream.

When I was a child, I’d make milkshakes with vanilla ice cream, a dash of milk, a tablespoon of coconut and some coconut extract.
    BINGO!
Here’s my milkshake in non-edible form!
I don’t know if this milkshake will bring all the boys to the yard, but it’s a fun & affordable gourmand romp. Coconut lovers, enjoy! Especially those who like their coconut without white florals.
    Be well & happy sniffing!

Eau de Hawaiian Tropic! Makes me smile. Takes me right back to my days life-guarding at the water park, and the local pool. Those days I thought I was being so good by applying SPF…..4!! (cringe)
If I spray this very lightly, I get a good balance of fresh coconut with a hint of vanilla to cream it up. If sprayed heavily, the vanilla takes over, turning it WAY too creamy, sweet and heavy.
With a light hand, this is a fresh, sweet little whiff of summer I like spritzing under my hair to catch whiffs of all day. 🙂

  55. :

    5 out of 5

It’s extremely sweet. Sometimes I had a difficult time wearing it, due to its sweetness but it is nice. It was like wearing coconut evaporated milk fragrance, if that makes any sense. Its a nice affordable fragrance for summer for the coconut vanilla lovers!

  56. :

Sweet and coconut-y. It’s simple but good.

  57. :

    5 out of 5

I agree with CaseyU below that sandalwood, as a base note, would have been more welcome than vetiver. That said, I really do enjoy this fragrance and generally find it to be more complex than most of Pacifica’s tropical offerings. I love coconut and vanilla as perfumed partners-in-crime, and the body cream in particular is quite lush and lovely. It also makes for an excellent layering base for other gourmand fragrances.

  58. :

    3 out of 5

I have it in solid, and was quite disappointed when I received it : it is not the creamy yummy coconut scent I was expected. More subtle, yes, but it also smells a little “artificial” to me.

  59. :

    3 out of 5

When I first apply this scent, it does have a plastic smell that many reviewers are mentioning. However, that smell goes away rather quickly and leaves a lovely, sweet smell of coconut in its wake. It reminds me of coconut frosting. I’m not one to generally go for dessert smelling scents so I don’t tend to wear it all that often, but it is one of the better coconut scents I have tried.

  60. :

    3 out of 5

gourmet vanilla, slight coconut flavor here, but produced a brow-furrowing Play-doh scent on my wrists for awhile. wish the vetiver was sandalwood instead. very very sweet and sugary for a coconut fragrance. more on the side of vanilla, but it turns out alright in the end. wouldn’t purchase again; glad i just have the rollerball version…

It’s always a shame when you think you find a great coconut fragrance only to find that you’ve been deceived…again. Coconut is one of my favorite scents but what little of it is in this is smothered in an incredibly heady and thick vanilla. Coconut is supposed to be reminiscent of summer, isn’t it? Light, fruity, cool and refreshing? This is sooooo sweet! It’s migraine-inducing. A little vanilla is great when used sparingly but this is far too much.

  62. :

“Where is the coconut?”, was one of the first things I uttered when I tried Indian Coconut Nectar for the first time. It smelt a lot like cherry flavoured cough syrup which reminded me of feeling ill as a child. This was not that delicious, foody coconut on a tropical island that I was searching for.
The opening was very sweet and gooey, with a strong cherry accord. My father was quick to comment that I smelt like a lollipop. The sweetness actually made me feel a little self-conscious, so I was quick to cover my wrists with a thick jacket sleeve to subdue the sillage.
For at least the first hour or so, Indian Coconut Nectar seemed to be all about the cherries, until thankfully the heart introduced the ‘coconut’. This coconut accord is perhaps more vanillary than most, also a tad synthetic. It’s not dry, nor is it tropical. On the skin it smells pleasing enough, however it’s not what I’d call a truthful interpretation of coconut. I’ve owned lotions and lip balms that smell more coconutty than this.
My disappointment has evidently spilled over into this review. I find the name very misleading. To be fair, I have given this fragrance two chances, and I found that on the second day of wearing, Indian Coconut Nectar has a rather pretty drydown, which is probably the most coconutty you’ll get from this composition.
The scent’s good points include its rather strong sillage and great longevity. The drydown, as I mentioned before, is commendable. I only wish that the whole composition was as satisfying. This review is for the EDT, however from what I’ve read, the solid perfume is much better.

    This is a sweet & salty coconut…
it dose smell a little like play-dough but as it dry’s down that dissipates what is left is a lovely sweet coconut…

I don’t know why but it smells like play-dough to me 🙁
will try again and see where I stand, cus I really loved it last summer…

ok I am sadly taking this off my list, smells horribly synthetic and kinda plasticy. After about an hour or more u get a dried down version of Coty’s Vanilla Fields. If u like that smell save yourself from the beginning of this and just go with the Vanilla Fields, there so no nice coconut here at all.

This smells pretty good. It has a warm, creamy, coconut vanilla scent to it. I like the scent of the solid perfume the best.

Very artificial smelling and hardly any coconut scent comes through at all.

I have to agree with people who say it is a bit plastic-y but I do like coconut so am giving it some time. I like LaVanila too and this is similar to Vanilla Coconut. Definitely a warm weather type of fragrance.

Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion all the way! Fortunately, I just loved that stuff as a kid. I don’t know if they still make it, but I still have fond memories of it. I have the purse-sized perfume roll-on bottle which is handy for re-application since it doesn’t hang around for long on my skin. However, it goes on strong at first, in an intoxicating blast of scent which becomes quite tame in about ten minutes. After about an hour it stays very close to the skin and becomes much more civilized. I like the fact that the dry down becomes such a mellow barely-there tropical-floral scent because it would actually be obnoxious if it didn’t. This perfume dances around with wild abandon, then sits down and behaves like a lady. It’s just like a little vacation from the everyday, a reminder of what it smelled like to be twelve years old, covered in Hawaiian Tropic, sitting on the beach, with sand stuck all over me.

This Pacifica perfume is very nice, if you like coconut. It starts out smelling clean and light, like young coconut water. But the fragrance quickly settles into the skin and becomes a soft vanilla-coconut. I personally don’t think coconut ever smells real. It’s a note that I don’t understand why people would want to wear. I don’t know why…But if I were ever forced to wear coconut, I would most definitely wear this one. I always say the same thing in my Pacifica reviews, but this would be great for layering. I would try layering with Malibu Lemon Blossom or maybe Waikiki Pikaki for a tropical feel.

Indian Coconut Nectar is pure tropical-holiday fun. “Nectar” is a very appropriate name, as it smells to me like warm, caramelized coconut syrup. This is undeniably very sweet. Not everyone will like that about it, but personally I do….I find it delicious! It’s quite a simple little scent – basically a creamy vanilla and coconut cocktail.

I bought a spray bottle of this scent- coconut is my absolute favorite smell. However this perfume did not mesh well with my chemistry, after about 15 minutes it ended up smelling really sickly sweet and plastic like on me. I gave it to my teenager who loves it.

This is pure summer in a bottle!!
You’re lying on the beach, applying suntan lotion, and ordering a fruity drink, then your drink is served (the cute little umbrella included) in a coconut shell.
This tends to be a heavy, sweet coconut on me. Vanilla and coconut. Simple. Just like a summer should be.

The first thing that came to my mind when applied this gentle, natural fragrance, was the juicy flesh of peaches or nectarines or perhaps even apricots a little, but no coconut! That on me emerges very softly (along with the vanilla) quite a bit later. This scent is lightly sweet, pretty, easy, simple, yummy and vanillic baby, that is, indeed, comforting, snugly and cozy, rather than exotic.

I got this in solid form- it came in the mail today. I can see why it has lots of ‘likes’ but few ‘loves’ on this site. It just smells… okay. I don’t think it will end up being a favourite- I can smell coconut and vanilla, but they combine to give off that plastic, waxy Play-Doh smell that many mainstream coconut-based perfumes tend to have. It’s a little bit fake-scented, but a little bit nice too. For a solid perfume, there is not much longevity and intensity at all.
Update: I don’t know how I’ve missed this, but the drydown smells like milk and caramel- a bit like Peters vanilla ice-cream.
Another note: My sister wore some of this and it did not smell plastic-y on her at all- it smelled like how it was supposed to smell like: tropical flowers and vanilla- gave it away to her!

At first I was a little taken aback by the plasticy coconut sweetness of this. I agree that’s definitely how it starts out. But then upon letting it rest on my skin – and I’ll have to admit writing it off a bit – I kept thinking – what smells so good in here? Needless to say it was the Indian Coconut Nectar. The warm sugary vanilla began to seep through and kind of sneakily wind itself into the coconut. The scent became thicker and more natural. Fresh coconut flesh simmering in sugared vanilla in the end. Delicious and fun for summer. It is quite simple, but also pleasantly sweet. It wears fairly close to
