Description
“For your consideration, I present to you one of my most treasured compositions containing some of the rarest resins and oils from the four corners of the world, inspired by my huge collection collected in the last two decades… Incense Royale.
Here we have a blended oil consisting of a rare oud oil from the tea plantation hills of East Bengal mixed with an oud oil from the jungles of Cambodia. Cedar wood from the forests of Virginia along with Iranian opoponax synergistically mixed with Siamese benzoin and Spanish labdanum, with Nepalese spikenard and South American copaiba balsam gently whispering in the background, all finely sweetened with Bourbon vanilla absolute.
This is a truly complex blend totally devoid of any dirty smoky notes one would expect from such compositions. Each of the notes are seamlessly blended synergistically so that they appear chronologically, so one may appreciate each of the facets of the different resins and incense oils with the Hindi oudh, copaiba and vanilla gently whispering in the background.
As one may experience with precious rarities such as Amouage Tribute and Norma Kamali’s incense, this is most definitely an olfactive crescendo…” — press release of the brand. Incense Royale was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Sultan Pasha.

Sp certainly has a cult following with many devotees who won’t hear a bad word said about his creations.
He is a very nice man, that is true and is obviously devoted to his art, but and this is a big but for me, his attars don’t last on me. For the price i would expect something with more staying power. Incense Royal is ok. I sprayed Sahara noire on one wrist and put this one the other. Sn lasted hours longer than IR and had a greater depth and complexity .

Wakening up with a buzzing chainsaw.
I cant tell the different between any fancy trees and ordinary trees ,but any big freshly sawn tree-scent is very well captured here.
Dripping of oak-resin, makes me think about the sawmill in twin peaks.
Nothing for a datenight, but home alone, sure 🙂
