I was almost in love with this at first but it turns absolutely awful after half an hour: Nothing but toilet refresher and headache. You get nothing but what you pay for: It’s cheap and smells like it too.

I love this perfume, it smells just like Ja’Dore. Sadly this one gives me a me a headache but not Ja’Dore. The headache lasts for the first 10 mins and then when whatever it is that’s causing it has evaporated, a lovely feminine, flowery scent settles in. It smells divine when close to the skin!

This one misses the mark for me a little. The real J’adore is warmer and more complex. This turns into pear soap on me.
Edit: Nearly a year later, and wearing this right this minute, I’d like to amend my review and completely change my stance on this.
I like this better than the real thing. J’adore in anything but the oil formula is sharp, harsh and can be headache-inducing. I have grown to like this exactly for the reason I stated above- it smells like pear soap. It took me some time to be able to appreciate that, but I do now. Like most La Rive fragrances, the lasting power is in at least the four to six hour range, which for a fresh one is not bad at all.

The list of notes is wrong, these are the real ones – tangerine, violet, middle notes rose and lily, base notes melon and musk.
