    A white musk lovers dream…
This is an incredibly powdery, strong projecting, and long lasting attar. One swipe from the sticky, thick, creamy attar lightly dabbed to the pulse points is more than suffice for an all day wearing. It opens hyper-sharp-powdery fresh (a blend between orris, baby powder and the talc applied at the barber shop after a fresh haircut.) . I detect a fresh (lush) rose joined by subtle hints of fruit and very crisp florals. In the opening the scent profile seems bright, fresh, crisp, then transforms quickly to a culmination of accords that work in harmony producing a scent that can be best described as very warm, musky, and sweet. There is this mildly smooth-spiciness that hums throughout the dry down. Almost within a matter of five minutes this transformation takes place. So, in the opening I can see one describing this as somewhat feminine but as it dries, I consider the scent evolves on the more masculine side. I prefer to wear this attar after the shower at night to bed and to the barber. For those needing a clean scent for the office, this is an appropriate solution but tread lightly. I’ve been told by the perfumer Maison Abdul Karim Al Faransi that some of the ingredients are no longer available and therefore it is discontinued. 9/10

This is very powdery and warm, iris root and Lily of the Valley are the notes which prevail on my skin. It’s a lovely soapy musky scent, so classy and feminine. Very very long lasting, 12 hours and more, even after a shower it stays still there, softer but definite, even better blended just like a clean skin scent. It’s really sticky and thick, so I suggest not to apply too much, a small dot is more than enough. I think that 1 ml (1 gr) will last for at least 6 months.. So just to let you understand the power of this heavenly treasure. I bought a big bottle, if someone needs a sample to try it just write me in private.

Wow, I don’t know if my sample was mislabeled or what!
I love powdery, fluffy, orris root fragrances, but I’m smelling white musk and pungent, sharp notes. There is very little powder and NO sweetness whatsoever! BRIGHT, WHITE, and HERBAL come to mind, the sharpness reminding me a bit of lemongrass.
After a few hours(!) the pungency subsides a bit and cheerful florals are more noticeable. It’s still a very bright scent… something tells me it was mislabeled.
I also received an UNLABELED simple white musk that smelled almost identical to Lattafa Khalis musk – Pure, white, baby powderish and clean. Hmmm. It’s worth noting that the unlabeled sample was barely sweet and very simple. Unremarkable but quality.
Reflecting on this, while I’m sorry to offer a confusing review, I have respect for ‘Imperial Desire’ by whatever name! Pungent or not, it is well blended, with excellent longevity and good sillage. I would enjoy smelling this on a man. 😀

A gorgeous white musk. It’s softly sweet with lots of powder and cream and when I wear it, it does invoke a luxurious and mellow feel. I find it very relaxing and feels like snuggling yourself in the the plushest silk duvet right after a long hot bath.
Despite the softness of the fragrance, it’s long lasting and lasts hours and hours on my scent gobbling skin.
My husband and baby seem to love this on me.
I adore this perfume oil and intend on making it my signature. For anyone that loves romantic feminine fragrances it doesn’t get better than this.
*The owner was super generous and gifted me a small bottle as part of my purchase. I loved it at first sniff and immediately ordered the bigger bottle for fear of running out!

Imperial desire, what a beautiful name and a way to describe this attar, is very thick I mean really thick, almost like a cream like oil, a bit sticky in the skin also, for the first 15 to 30min. but last like no other, 12h+ easily. To me it’s basically a very sensual feminine fragrance, very floral and powdery with Abdul Karim Al Faransi signature white musk.
