Hilde’s new fragrance called Il Tuo Tulipano Giallo (Your Yellow Tulip)carries the name of one of the most beautiful perfumes of the Ti Amo collection – Il Tuo Tulipano, with a mark Giallo (Yellow), since this edition differs completely from previous perfumes.
This is a typical Italian fragrance. Hilde decided to create a contemporary eau de cologne that would be a more intense and stronger version of the original perfume Acqua di Parma, created by ‘traditional recipe’ of the highest quality ingredients.
Her idea and aim of this edition were to offer a modern version of cologne as eau de parfum, while using highly concentrated essential oils of the best quality.
In her new fragrance – Il Tuo Tulipano Giallo, bright, luminous, greenish shades of citruses are accentuated with notes of Calabrian bergamot joined by rosemary and aromatic basil shades.
Il Tuo Tulipano Giallo was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Hilde Soliani.

This scent smells great, but smells almost exactly like fancy love or burberry woman. Which is surprising because you look at the notes in here and they don’t seem similar at all. Tuo Tulipano has a fresher vibe, and I can think I smell the notes listed. However, it’s buried under a powdery clean mound of burberry woman. For the right person, I could see getting the scent because it smells lovely. But, for me it smells too much like cheaper alternatives for me to drop the bucks. I guess my big wonder in all this is if Hilde planned this (and probably hoped no one would notice), or it’s a coincidence. Very unexpected!

Sweet, lovely, somehow reminds of artificially scented bubble gum or a kind of child shampoo or even air-freshener, basically is interesting because of something that reminds childhood, more suitable for women rather than men but still has something that man can wear on specific occasions. Or probably man should be specific 🙂 I personally wouldn’t buy it.
