    A*Men SummerFlash renamed. Great scent!

    Literally smells like pure patchouli.
It’s not good at all. You’re better off paying 5 bucks for an essential oil bottle instead of 50 for this.
Sorry guys, but its not a good scent to wear. Its not the WORST frag i have smelled, but it’s not something that I would wear. Definitely cant be appealing to women.

I hate this scent- I just cant get with this smell- It smells so cheap

Unique juice IMO yet it links perfectly with the rest of the A*Men flankers with that patchouli. It is really not meant to be compared to the others in the line,it’s different and it was intended to be.
I get that icy feeling and that freshness from the minty note, thank God there’s no aquatic note, cause it’s not an aquatic,it brings variety to my very small summer rotation. To be honest, though, I enjoy it more in colder days than in hot ones. The same thing happened with ultra zest, oddly enough. Versatile, I guess.
This is a beautiful composition with staying power and strong, delightful radiation,a pleasure !
DO NOT OVER SPRAY, do yourself that tiny favour.

smells okay. wish i hadn’t bothered now though – got no time for average perfumes. thought Mugler would have made a more long-lasting perfume like Angel
disappointed. i may just donate it to someone

My first blind buy and its mehhhh… I adore some pure line creations and my next buy was pure energy but I got this as I heard it is very similar.
There is resemblance but ice men is diferent from pure energy. My problem with ice man is the same as Dior sauvage, the notes are great and when I smell it close and diconstract the scent I like it but the overall feel and impression – deodorant, half bulgari aqua half generic adidas whatever..
The patchuli is muglerish and overall it is nice semi-aquatic wonna go to a pool in the summer smell but I wouldn’t buy it from a shop after a test (got it online).
I do appreciate the nutmeg that reveal it self in the middle notes but it goes away in the drydown.
The box is beautiful and the bottle is mesmerizing – will look good on the shelf.
Pure energy is much more interesting, it has barber shaving foam feel with hint of gourmand, and the peppery feel in the begining is energizing.
PS. Just now coworker got in the room and asked “is it air freshener or parfume”?… case done.

Ice*Men by Mugler is a magical scent! It performs tricks on you! If you judge this scent by the notes alone you would say ok… we’ve got patchouli and woods… lets think of something in the vain of Kokorico By Gaultier. But no. We get a sort of icy spiciness. The nutmeg and musk work as great foils to the patchouli and woody notes. Ice*Men is a very unique scent, it is refreshing and is perfect for the summer months. I used it at work in the desert heat of the middle east and it was perfect. As for other ideas.. well, this is a perfect gym or after work out scent. I would also say if you’re going to attend any outdoor spectator sporting events this would work just fine. So give this bad boy a spray under your local teams jersey (I wont reveal mine. Ha!) and prepare yourself for the seventh inning stretch or if at the gym calf raises, DON’T SKIP LEG DAY!

This perfume is awesome, but where and when did it disappear? For confident men only, as this one has the tendency to wear you, not the other way round. I’d classify this an unisex, I can see myself wearing it as well. It has a unique sexiness and a touch of class and elegance. There’s no other men fragrance I like more that this one.

A cold, fresh patchouli and menthol blend. It’s nice and lasts a while. Not the nicest Mugler. 7/10 for me.

Well it has a plastic synthetic mint vibe to it. I can see where people are coming from with the liking it and the disliking it. Lol I can respect the uniqueness but this one is a bit too synthetic for me.

I don’t get much in the way of aquatic aroma chemicals here nor menthol/camphor (which I really dislike), fortunately. There is just a little bit of sweetness, and the “ice” quality is obvious. I think I tried it years ago when my sensitivity was high, and I didn’t like it, but now it seems like it would be great for when you want a little of the A*Men feel without the full treatment, so to speak. And the icy quality is a little something different, which keeps things at least minimally dynamic. Obviously, this is likely to be a divisive scent, and I’m sure many will think that they should have bought A*Men or one of the flankers instead, but I like it from the perspective of variety.

I gave this to my husband probably 7 or 8 years ago. He never wore it and a few weeks ago he gave this and another mens cologne back to me. I found the other too masculine for my tastes but decided to give this a try.
I really like it! It’s the signature patchouli that TM is known for but it’s not in the typical powerhouse strength. It’s muted down with some musk and woody notes. It’s light and airy! A very nice summer scent! I like this a lot better than his Mugler Cologne.
    I think it’s very unisex 🙂

Strong patchouli bomb by the patch king Mugler. Lovely for the summer – woody, earthy, spicy musk. It quietens down to a skin scent after a couple of hours but in spectacular Mugler style blasts off with a big punch. I have tried nearly all of the men’s Muglers and my favourite is still the discontinued B*MEN, it has that something something that the other patchouli bombs don’t. Cannot explain. I also quite enjoyed the Sunessence male version. Nice try Mugler, but no re-buy here.

    To Ecojoe69:
I’ve got an original bottle with sealed box and I have to say you than this flanker has low projection (sillage) and also low longevity.
I think this new version incorporates musks than only works adequately depending on your body chemistry so I think you don’t have any problem with the stuff you got on e-bay. This is all.
I also love this version of A-Man, but sadly doesn’t work well with my type of skin. Cheers.
Update: Try to apply on different points and also try to use it on different weather or season. Sometimes it works surprisingly on me.

I am a huge fan of the A*men series and have recently begun to seek out more colognes with the patchouli note so this seemed a logical next step for me.
I can say that I like it but its very light and doesn’t really wow me like some of the others in the Amen series. I get the patchouli note most strongly but its light, bright and very “average”. NOT long lasting, NOT very much projection- just…. there.
It has been given a thumbs down by the woman in my life and she thinks its a bit old-lady smelling.
Maybe its worth saying that I got this on Ebay and it was a spray that was NOT boxed. Would anyone suggest that this might affect the quality of what I got? Is it perhaps a tester and thus not as potent? I’d be willing to try and buy a NIB version but does the fact that it is discontinued and maybe a tester perhaps play a role in the quality of the sccent?

Not similar to any other frag !! A really special perfume, the freshness is surprising !! Kind of plastic smell due to the icy lemon. For those who like patchouli in summer, that fit very well !

Nothing exciting abt it, just frozen patchouli with some mint.

Easily the worst smelling cologne in my collection. When I purchased this I was expecting a fresh, blue, refreshing aquatic. What I got was a bitter scent smelling of patchouli and coffee. Not for me AT ALL.
    Easily a 2.5 out of 10

Waited until i finished the bottle to write this.
Not for every occasion, but good…
It smells like patchouli and mint.
Would be a great scent to wear for beach volleyball. That’s about it. I do love it though, and think it’s worth having. Just not super versatile.

This is a hidden gem, typical Mugler longevity & silage as expected, the scent is suitable for day or night in my opinion, its really a great versatile scent with plenty of kick!! its a patchouli bomb on dry down, the opening is almost menthol to me, ice is a very fitting name for it!!

Recently bought this. Probably the best one in my small collection.
This is the most unconventional summer fragrance out there. Cold coffee and patchouli work together beautifully.
    I love this one. 🙂
    Longevity: 7-9 hours
    Projection: Good
Bought this (3.4 oz) for some Rs. 2600 (around $45) in India from Shoppers Stop.
    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was my signature scent during my recent Hawaiian vacation. Icy cool and fresh without being generically fruity – just enough earthiness to keep things interesting. Definitely not your traditional aquatic! Perfect for a day (or night) at the beach!
    Highly recommended

    Updating my old review:
I am, definitely, a fan of fragrances from Mugler House, by their power, originality and bottles, always inspired by the star.
This one here is a cologne of composition and result, both unexpected. With invigorating citrus accords, gin and vodka in the output, the scent arouses all the senses of its user. Continuing, the spicy touch of nutmeg and the smoothness of the vanilla and then, we get to the modern accord of cold coffee, which is present throughout the development of the fragrance. A scent of contrasts and absurd freshness.
Is it hot and you want to call attention and don’t know what perfume to wear? Are you tired of all the fresh scents of your collection?
    It’s time to meet Ice*Men!

    Sillage: Great. (A)
    Longevity: Great. 10+ hours(A)
Originality: Very Unique. This is not your typical summer fragrance.(A)
Craftsmanship: Very creative. This is not a delicate expertly crafted double consomme. This is a chunky unapologetic stew…done well. (A-)
Scent (Subjective): Full disclosure…I am a Mugler fanboy. Putting aside a couple of epic fails (which shall go nameless) I love everything they do. Ice Men is one of my favorites. I appreciate the feel of a Mugler frag on a hot day. Havanne and A*Men are waiting for the jackets to come out. About Ice Men, who else can take musk and patchouli and cram it into a summer frag AND then have the audacity to put “Ice” in the name? When I think of fresh summery notes these aren’t what comes to mind. This is an artful contradiction. And I don’t know where Mugler gets their patchouli but it is good, earthy and dense. This isn’t one of their best known frags. I’ve never seen in a retail setting. Fine by me…let it be unique. I love this. (A)
    Season: Hot summer days
