I dont like this perfume! Its too sweet it reminds me of Aquolina Pink Sugar but much more expensive its just too much for me!
JohnLog – :
I’m just going through my Sephora samples in anticipation of the Rouge sale tomorrow! At first spritz, I got a little sweetness and a lot of tea and ginger—I wondered what the hell everyone else was talking about marshmallows for. After a minute or two, it settled into the soft, fluffy vanilla which I suppose must be marshmallow. I still get the soft spice notes and a bit of wood, though, which is nice but also a slightly odd combination. Overall it seems pleasant, but it’s nothing I’d really bother to wear.
The perfume name, like the names of all the others in this collection, is eyeroll-inducing.

I’m not going to get into a deep review about this lovely gem. But I will say that I’ve been collecting fragrances for as long as I can remember. I have pretty much something from one end of the fragrance spectrum to the other. I love them all but this is the ONLY fragrance my husband has said “ This is not fair, it literally ignites something inside me” when he smelled it! I wore it two times and each time the same response….heck ya I bought the biggest bottle! I absolutely adore it too, it’s that good. The bottle design is a travesty, I hide it.

The top notes of green tea and apples are very fleeting, leaving me with a marshmallow/vanillapeach scent thaat is pleasant but not unique. I do love the way the musk presents in the final dry down. After the top notes dissipate this reminds me very much of Fancy by Jessica Simpson, with softer edges.

‘I Don’t Need A Prince By My Side To Be A Princess’, she muttered while spreading her green eye shadow, ‘I need a loaded m45 rifle in my nickers!’

This is a generic, sweet perfume, heading into toothache territory. I’ve lived my entire life not realizing that marshmallows have a scent. I’m tempted to buy a bag and stick my head in, because to my nose this smells like a cheap vanilla. I pick up a little green tea but not much else. This stays linear from start to finish.
The packaging, branding and product names are terrible. The nice Sephora sales associates helping me gave their unsolicited opinion, apologizing for this new line of products …..not that they needed to state the obvious.
Chalk this up to too many cooks stirring the pot, trying hard to be hip in an attempt to market 20 somethings. I’m sure this branding “idea” came from some 40-50 year olds who think they are cool with the younger generation. Instead they are nothing more than extremely out of touch.

Smells good. I would always test it when I went into Sephora, and I never bought it because I thought it my be too much marshmallow and overly sweet, but I finally decided to purchase the roller ball, and not I can not stop smelling my wrist! Its been 5 days and the roller ball is almost gone. The only problem is the longevity is like 30 mins then you have to touch your nose to your skin to smell. This reminds me of Lira by Xjeroff but much weaker and instead of blood orange, there is a very light lemon, but they smell very similar. I like it, I just wish the bottle was not so funky. I can get over the fact that I wouldn’t want to carry that around in my purse. I do like it much more than I thought I would at the store.

This is pretty much THE marshmallow scent. Smells exactly like marshmallows, I don’t get any green tea or ginger, although there is a slight sharpness to it. If anyone wants to smell like marshmallows, this is it. It’s a step above marshmallow body sprays as its got a huge potency and great sillage. This one will last all day. I just wish the travel spray was 10 ml rather than the stingy 7ml that it is. I’m still debating on buying as it is very one note and yet more expensive than other travel sprays (that are 10 ml) in the same category.

I don’t agree that it’s a Black Opium copy. It’s a copy of its own Love which came way earlier than BO. And it’s not similar IMO.
SHUM – :
Basically, another Black Opium copy. Even though this is a less expensive line, I was expecting a little bit more originality from Kilian. It is pleasant, like a lighter slightly spicer Black Opium. With all the copies out there already, this is nearly generic. Did not last long, maybe a couple of hours on my skin.
I do not like the bottle. The round part is the bottle and the square thing with words is the cap. The glass ball is very heavy, and while interesting in that way, I found it awkward to use.
Mevng439Negeltzex – :
Very similar to Love but less dense and less sweet which is good.
Drydown is almost identical to the one of Courmand Coquin, very very pleasant!
Ярик2011 – :
I cannot really decide if I LOVE it of hate it. Here is the thing….the top notes are delicious but the dry down leaves something to be desired. The drydown smells like Candy Prada. The opening is all marshmallow and sweet, gourmand. The drydown occurs pretty rapidly as well. The top notes of yumminess last about 5 mins. Rest of the day stuck with Prada Candy.
Hoorryhed – :
A delicate marshmallow / cotton candy scent. It’s fairly generic, but I think the ginger and green tea add a subtle, almost invisible complexity to it. This is a great scent for a younger girl. Very clean and innocent. Would I buy it? No, but I’ll keep my sample vial around.

I received this as a tester from Sephora the other day and packed it into my bag for a work trip. I have it on right now. Yes, it is a generic type of sweet and powdery scent but it has something else going on…a little green-ness and a little spice. I like it. Will I buy it? not yet but I will get it as a roller ball if there is one. As another reviewer has said it is like Black Opium…but more of a natural feel if that makes any sense.
expaffify – :
Beautiful everyday non-generic fragrance. Almost identical to Molinard Secret Sucre. Soft marshmallow, lightly musky and very feminine. Surprisingly long lasting, I was expecting the budget By Kilian perfumes not to last but I was wrong.
Denis185 – :
Smelled like green tea and marshmellows pretty much. Not an artistic blend. Not a generic fragrance. Just floating around in between.
Belerafont – :
Sweet, musky, vanilla candyfloss, smelling like a Brittany Spears perfume, or many other celebrifrags for that matter, that tends to bore me to sleep. I know Kilian was contractually obligated to put out some perfumes to appeal to the masses in scent and price, but this is a cop out from one of my favorite houses. I feel like no effort at all was put into keeping with the house’s unique and quality brand while rising to the challenge EL gave them. I also have Let’s Settle This Argument Like Adults and it’s a screechy, figgy mess of a perfume. So disappointed….
Anderche3322 – :
Creamy melting sweet marshmallow with hints of green tea and ginger. Divine fun gourmand scent. Very sweet and feminine.
7+ hours of wear.
mukola – :
I got this in Sephora yesterday, and today I was excited to try it! I applied it to my wrists, chest, and back of my neck/hair, and I’ve been enjoying it wafting around me all day. Sillage is light, but noticeable within arm’s reach. Longevity is impressive: 8 hours, and counting!
This is marketed as a unisex, but I don’t know of any man over the age of 30-35 who wants to smell like a marshmallow. The tea and ginger are very subtle in this fragrance. Here, it’s all about the marshmallow!!! Not overly sweet and cloying, it is very well done and delicious!
mokmor – :
A way better version of Black Opium, and while I wouldn’t buy Black Opium, I would happily buy this one. It is definetely a gourmand, but there is a soft quality about it that I think comes from the marshmallow. It’s the only one scent in this new line that I really like!
Edit : I bought it 2 days after smelling it for the first time and I have no regrets!! Love the smell and the longevity is amazing: like you can smell it on clothes quite strongly DAYS after!
microniksn – :
I received a sample of this with a Sephora order. I’m not sure if you can even buy it yet. A very gourmand scent that is warm, spicy, and creamy. Ginger, marshmallow crème, and a hint of tea. I like it.
presto – :
This smells a little gourmand to my nose/on my skin. A soft, warm, comforting, slightly sweet type fragrance. I can see this being great for the cooler months. Great for snuggle weather, the soft scent draws you in. It does me, anyway! LOL 🙂
I don’t pick up any green tea, to me there is almost a coffee scent, actually, or a cacao scent. Not too overly sweet, not a candy bomb (seeing only 3 notes here and one being marshmallow, I am a little surprised, and very pleased, that this is not a candy-bomb). The ginger is soft. I like this. Soft and comforting fragrance that leans a softly sweet and slightly gourmand. I just wish this had better longevity. Still, am considering adding this to my holiday wish list. Do you think the hubby would object to the name of this fragrance..?! 😉 🙂
Smells a touch like Cavalli’s Just Gold for Her. Not a dupe, but in the same vein.
