This is my signature. My ALL time favorite. Theres a funny story I have with this perfume. I bought it for the first time in 2006 to wear on my first date with a new guy. We both fell head over heels for each other, and sadly he had to move to the other side of the country and we had to split up. A few years later I found this perfume again and as fate would have it he and I started talking again and went out on our SECOND first date. I decided that since it reminds me so much of him and I love it so much I would wear it for our wedding. I will NEVER be sick of this. They have renamed it several times-bamboo and now Tara.

This has been re-released by Fruits & Passion as “Bamboo”.
I love it. Actually, it’s the scent that turned me on to investigating perfumes, and now I’m obsessed.. It’s very uplifting and light, fresh smelling. Everyone likes it, and believe me, I insisted on asking everyone around me before I decided to buy it (I got a sample of the eau de cologne, and a body souffle in the same scent). It’s not offensive – It just smells.. nice.
I’d say what stands out to me most is the bamboo. On me, the jasmine really stands out, too.

A very nice soft, fresh green fragrance. Makes me think of a fresh slice of watermelon, though I wouldn’t describe the fragrance as such. Too bad it was d/c.

There may have been a slight change in formulation, I haven’t gotten a chance to compare them side by side yet, but they smell very similar in any case. Human’s sister fragrance ‘The Vert’ (green tea) was d/c though. It’s a sharper citrus/woody floral frag, which was also quite nice (not listed on this site). I’ve still seen quite a few bottles in the stores’ clearance areas and once at a Homesense at super-low prices. 😉
