My Swiss army knife. You can use this in almost any weather and almost any occasion. Keep in mind the hotter the better (weatherwise). In colder days it gets a bit bitter, it’s full freshness shines in the hotter days. So you can wear it any season except winter. Performancewise it is great. I have a skin that burns fragrances pretty quickly and this one stays for long and also projects for a decent amount of time like 2 hours which (for me) is pretty damn good. It does smell almost exactly like the original and I don’t know if it performs better (simply because I’ve no experience with the original one).

It’s Fresh, modern, easy to wear, and long lasting. It’s very versatile, good for about every setting except a cold winter night out. One of the best from the Hugo Boss house imo.

Nearly identical to the original Hugo – fir, backed up by lavender and apple.
However a couple of differences to me….initially its projection is stronger, especially the fir. However on me, it doesn’t last nearly as long as the original – after only a couple hours it’s already a skin scent.
So, I’m just gonna stick with the original.

Opens with Balsam fir and subtle apple. Geranium becomes evident in the dry down after about 2 hours but it’s not overbearing. Would be better without the geranium (i.e. old lady perfume). However, overall love it. Fresh, clean, decent performance on sillage and longevity. Wife loves it.
This is one of the few examples of a pine type of scent which is done properly and does not smell like a cleaning agent. In comparison, New West is too heavy on pine and adds too much musk. Hugo Extreme is well balanced. It is masculine and mature.

Main notes according to me –
green apple,sage,lavender,cedar,geranium.
The drydown is nice and i get some woodiness,cedar and a little bit of sweetness.
Emotions -relax,casual,fresh,green.
Occasion – casual activities,office,scholl,college and night out.
Very safe,pleasant and non-offensive scent.Could be a signature scent.You’ll get some compliments with this one.

It’s a very nice fresh scent with fruity overtones, if that’s what you’re into. Initial blast is extremely overpowering. Go very modest with the sprays.
I keep trying fresh and green scents like this one when they’re well reviewed but I just never love them. They’re just not for me, but I didn’t hate this. It’s good for what it is.
It was a sample and I’ll wear it once in a while and finish it. There is some spice in it, too, but not nearly enough for my liking.
Very good projection and sillage, I’d say.

i tried this at the perfume counter and it is great smelling! far better than the original and long lasting. just one spray on my wrist and it lasted around 3-4 hours! i am getting this for my collection. lol.

On my skin starts stronger than the eau de toilette BUT after one hour it disappears totaly ! Strange…
Less interesting, not long lasting at all… disappointing experience, am I the only one ?
Back to the eau de toilette for an all day lasting…

Was given a free sample of this today.It is a great smelling casual scent that could be worn in Spring,Summer and maybe in early Autumn.
Very fresh spicy, I got a Dior Sauvage vibe(I really like Sauvage as well),not really that much similar in smell but the feeling they give in general,though this one is more fresh and less spicy and totally greener with a slight hint of sweetness. After a shower and a shaving this would be excellent, it is sexy as well.
Although it smells great I think I have smelled it before..
Haven’t tested on skin to judge longevity/sillage

Tried this and the regular one today, the
extreme is stronger and a bit more spicy,
just like boss bottled and the intense one.
They should have made this one the first time
in my opinion.

Saw it today in the local Douglas perfumestore.
Tested 1 spray on my wrist a gentle mist.
It doesn’t realy shout, it’s a gentle sillage.
Maybe it was too less that i have put on.
But i experienced it with more EDP’s that it doesn’t is as loud as the EDT version does project.
Well it’s not a problem if you don’t need it to shout as long as the longevity is better.
What i get out of this Hugo Extreme, is the same scent as the EDT.
So, i think like D&G also did with the one, for that one it was good because it’s an amazing scent, but didnt last.
I still have the EDT of Hugo.
Well that one had not had these problems.
So i would have rather seen a bit twists in the formula.
So for the ones who have edt, you do not need this.
If you dont, just test them both, maybe you experience it different, and see what is best for you.
