Description

David Beckham in collaboration with Coty presents a new fragrance that was created with an aim to reveal the essence of charismatic man with style, football star, trendsetter, husband and father. ”I wanted to create a modern, masculine fragrance that reflects my style” – says Beckham.

David Beckham Homme was announced as woody-spicy and its composition might be very interesting to fans of this group of fragrances. The fragrance arrives in a glass flacon with David’s name spreading over glass surface, which makes this edition characteristic and memorable. Elegant white cardboard box features grey letters suggesting strength and elegance of this edition. The front part features a circle marked with the new logo David Beckham Homme.

Top notes of this excellent composition offer citrusy zest skillfully mixed with ginger and Szechuan pepper. A heart introduces cashmere, leather and rosemary, while a base leaves a trail of mahogany, patchouli and musk. The perfume was created by Pierre Negrin of Firmenich.

David Beckham Homme hits the shelves in September 2011, as 30 and 50 ml EDT, along with accompanying body care products.

Very good value for money. The longevity is low but its good while it lasts.

I got this one for my boyfriend, and I think it smells a lot more expensive than it is. I’m not as good with “masculine” scents (although I basically believe perfume is unisex and unnecessarily “gender-ized”) but this one definitely is a hit for me. I think we paid like $11 for the 2oz size. We went through the “expensive” perfume aisle in Ulta and to be honest I like this one more than the ones I smelled there.

what an incredible cheapie this juice for what i paid like 12 bucks is a steal guys this should be in people’s top ten list for best cheapies hands down,i’m not gonna say is a clone but having smelled TDH i can assure you that it has that same vibe obviously TDH is more refined and potent but hey what could you expect i’m definitely getting another bottle, my current Classy signature scent right now is Amouage Jubilation xxv and my wife likes Beckham Homme and her beloved YSL L’ Homme better and we know which is more expensive so don’t let the price or the name fool you this little juice is no joke peace!!!!!!

Shockingly good frag for the price.
I am immediately blasted with pepper, ginger, and a sweetness that mixes together into an almost cinnamon scent. Within an hour the mahogany and Cashmeran come through quiet nicely into a very nice, masculine scent. My only complaint with this frag is the longevity. I could barely smell it on my own skin after 1.5 hours.

I haven’t smelled all of the latest DB fragrances, however in 2014, when I smelled this one- it was the best of the lot that DB had produced.
I honestly don’t know what Sichuan pepper smells like, to me it smelled of white pepper and a fresh sky in a green, mountainous region with fresh, dense air.
This is very good (maybe even excellent) by parfumerie standards. It isn’t JUST very good within the DB range.
I’d happily purchase this one again. It’s the equivalent of the skinny and awkward girl you kinda knew in high school who looks incredible when you see her by chance at age 30.
It doesn’t last very long, but the scent itself makes you forgiving of its shortcomings.
If this was “made” by Hugo Boss, the bourgeosie would be waxing lyrical.

The smell of this fragrance is wonderful to me if it had a better overall performance I would of gladly paid 100$ plus for this scent. it is that good!! very masculine. I think this scent is unique and if it was made a by a well known brand i think it would of been a big success.

Absolutely I can smell anise at beginning then in few minuets get mixed by ginger…

I’m gonna start off by suggesting that you should get this one on your skin for a try. Once you’re about to press that atomizer I also want you to for the next hour forget that this is a DB frag. Just put that aside.
I was so sceptical before I tried this on on me (I had once smelled this on paper before) and I must say it really surprised me. There is something interesting here. Liquorice, leather, ginger, wood and some herbs. Yes it is a bit synthetic, but what the hell…
Longevity and sillage is actually not bad. I get about 5h with this one and it projects good for the first 2h.
This is not for everyone tho… but give it a try. Maybe it is for you. Just don’t tell anyone it is DB, they won’t believe you anyway.

Beautiful marriage of sichuan pepper and patchouli. The bitterness of the pepper oil and the sweetness of patchouli and musk creates a great blend.
This could be a solid fragrance, but it is missing big time on longevity.
It performed nicely for 2-3 hours. After the 4th hour, it disappeared completely from my skin. So a great fragrance, and if you do not mind spraying during the day, go for it.

  10. :

Deospray: gingery, peppery and citrussy vetiver. It does not smell cheap like other drugstore frags. Even that deospray lingers about 2-3 hours on skin.
Overall it is a sporty and classy smelling product for that price. It’s more than “bang for the buck”.

Im shocked i didnt try this sooner, i think it being a beckham fragrance i thaught meh il pass as his other fragrances ive tried are just so poor and cheap but this little gem smells amazing. From first spray to the drydown. Its great stuff. Il definetly keep this in my rotation 8/10

  12. :

    Deospray
I see that I already had marked it with Love (I’ve had it a long time but haven’t reviewed it) and I still enjoy it very much!
Very youthful and fresh. I don’t scent any patchouli or leather, it’s rather more citrusy, woody – with the cashmere woods as most prominent – and hints of ginger with a mild and discreet musky base.

This is my updated review as of January 11, 2017:
David Beckham’s Beckham Homme is a strange fragrance. The few times I wore it I got two different experiences.
The first time, I sprayed it at night and I seemingly over-sprayed it getting a leathery cashmere smell that is much more refreshing than straight leather like say English Leather. It lasted all night with pretty strong projection for about three hours.
The second time, I sprayed it for a workday (since it is a day scent after all) and it was lighter but still somewhat leathery though I noticed more notes like cashmere. It also didn’t last all day and lasted only five hours with projection stopping at two hours. Later after a few weeks, it actually lasted an entire workday including skin, so it is a little bit too inconsistent.
From these experiences, I did notice that for some reason I sprayed more directly with my night time spray than I did with my day time spray. So this maybe a fragrance you need to watch that with. I have tried copying this but it never really worked honestly.
I really like the leathery woody smell but I think it is more of a night scent than a day scent but it is still worth using during a day. It is however NOT a summer scent, far too woody and leathery for hot days. It kind of reminds me of Calvin Klein Euphoria Men in performance (not scent that is far more woody and leathery.) It also plays better from fall to spring. It can work in summer but could get cloying.
The three things that come to mind when I smell this scent are: cashmere, leather and peppery. There is a lot cashmere in this scent and it is even mixes with the leather note. I also find that Beckham Homme is peppery in a way that is similar to the open of Ferragamo F Black, Villain by Ed Hardy and even Sauvage (I believe another reviewer mentioned this.) I REALLY noticed those comparisons on more recent wearings.
Overall I like David Beckham Beckham Homme but cannot rate it all that high and instead rate it at a 7.2. This is due a good scent but with only OK projection with inconsistent length.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

Share the same DNA in drydown as Dior Sauvage because of lots of sichuan pepper. The composition of DB Homme is much more pleasant than Dior’s to me. Overall great spicy-woody scent for the price !

I bought this some time ago and it remains mostly unused. It is nothing special, and if I’m honest, I am a little embarrassed to have it on my shelf. I neither like Mr Beckham nor celebrity fragrances per se – but I had a few quid left when I got some Amazon vouchers and thought (perhaps in a wine fuelled, Yule tide stupor!). I have tried it, but would rather wear something good with the time I have and the plethora of other scents in my (admittedly amateurish) collection!
Neither good nor bad. Meh, is a fair reflection of it!

I love this. My favorite cheapie. It’s the beautiful bold WOODS! Only AUD $13 !!! Very dark deep and masculine. I wish it ‘wood’ last longer. 😛 but hey 13 bucks! I’m not a peasant, I still love my creeds but even this holds its own up to the high cost frags. I wear this for me, I don’t wear it for the lady’s or the compliments. I still treasure it sparingly as if it should be an expensive one? Lol a subconscious financial defense mechanism perhaps.

  21. :

    5 out of 5

I picked up a bottle on the cheap, knowing that if I couldn’t stand it, it could be returned. Little did I know that it would become my favorite drugstore cheap thrill.
It opens with a blast of citrus (I’d guess grapefruit and lemon peel) and fresh ginger, followed quickly by Szechuan pepper and something herbal and aromatic (I suppose it could interpreted as rosemary or pine), before transitioning into a smooth woody amber finish, with a fractionated, scrubbed clean patchouli and suede-ish, skin musk accord. It all settles rather quickly and is low-key and quiet; it will stay close to the skin and for that reason, it might be an ideal scent for the workplace or for casual wear.
Sure, it’s not a room-filling scent and its longevity isn’t astonishing but seriously, sometimes one doesn’t want a scent that people can smell from a distance of 30 paces. Manage those expectations, especially when it costs next to nothing. Want to experience it from the top again? You will. Spray it on with abandon…..you’re still not likely to stink up an elevator while wearing it.
If you want proof that snobbery in perfumery is a pointless affair, while wearing publicly for the first time, three different people (in different settings) leaned in to inhale and ask what it was. I thought to myself “Really? All the cash I’ve laid down for scents in the past and this…this fifteen dollar bottle is the thing that gets people’s attention?” Go figure.
My final take: Modern. Inexpensive. Smells great.

I like this very much. Blindly bought this based on online review. Really masculine smell, close to Dior Fahrenheit. Suitable for late 30s and above.

  25. :

Wow, I really love this scent. And it’s so priceworthy. I love the way I scent peppery licorice anise scents in the top notes and it evolves beautifully to an elegant trip for sharp dressed men.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

What a lovely fragrance. DBH is a great value. I have had excellent longevity (7-8 hours) and decent projection with this. The wood notes in this are really nice. I see others comparing this to Diavolo, which I kind of see, but Diavolo is more thick and syrupy. This is cleaner but in the same family. I prefer this to Diavolo. Still, I am amazed at what a good value this is. It is very versatile and somewhat classy. Definitely a masculine fragrance.
    Chopshop rating: 8.5/10

  27. :

    3 out of 5

This is one of the best values in my sizable collection. I’m really hard pressed to find another casual occasion fragrance that I like as much as this. I wore it for example to have coffee with my wife today. I wear it when I’m off work and kicking around town. I wear it when I coach basketball. You get the idea. It smells excellent. Not surprising considering the nose on this one is Pierre Negrin. Some of his other doozies include Interlude Man by Amouage, Polo Black, and Z Zegna to name a few.
My nose picks up and I absolutely LOVE the szechuan pepper. Mind you, as a fume head, I’m a pepper head in particular. If you are going to have at least one cheap fragrance to splash on whenever the hell you want without fearing the bottle drain, this is that fragrance. I said to myself today: “This is always going to be in my rotation.”
Blind buy this juice. It’s a winner.

A home run scent. You know a cologne is great when you smell it on another man, and ask them what it is. Well, that’s exactly what happened to me. Got a great deal at Kohl’s. A great everyday fragrance. Wear it in the office or out on the town. Very flexible. Makes me want to see what’s next in the Beckhan line. Not to be missed.

I was loking for a woody spicy scents
for years and expended lots of money in lots of brands.
But the David backam homme keep me pleased.
Really nice blended scent. It goes with my daily life style too.People aeeound me keep asking that which scent it is?But I keep quite. Don’t let other khow which brand’s scent I m wearing.
I think, it’s my signature fragrance for more years.

I Have tried a few from the Beckham range (usually as things being bought to me, as was the case with this fragrance) and put this on before going out to do a gig.
I had no expectations and have to say was very pleasantly surprised. Out of the few i have tried this one is by far the most defined and suited to me.
It is spicy and masculine and carries well. When I got home around 4am I could still smell it.
Would recommend this for people 30+, it is a more mature and confident smell. caught me by surprise, it is also very well priced.
    Thumbs up 🙂

This one reminds AB Diavolo, which is cheap brother of Fahrenheit. Homme is not so ,,dark” and mysterious. More straightforward, and very masculine. Great versatility, average sillage and longevity.
    Scent – 8
    Sillage – 6.5
    Longevity – 7
    Price – 10

I really love this scent and I can see why people compare it to Terre D’Hermes.
I actually prefer this one more due to Terre D’Hermes’ orange that CAN smell cloying. It does reminds people of orange toilet detergents.
If this fragrance didn’t have Beckham’s name on it and was produced by Hermes, I bet more people will love it instead of voting “like”. It is fresh, peppery and does give me the same vibe as Hermes.
It is a clean, no-nonsense professional scent that I have been looking for.
It doesn’t smell cheap. If someone walked by me smelling like this, “cheap” won’t be on my mind. I am wearing it more often due to the fact that I know not many people would be wearing it..at least in Asia due to Beckham’s name. Many would have it but would not make it their “routine” scent. It is great for office, gym, formal occasions so I would say it is versatile.
As a guy, I first thought of NOT wearing it because it reminded me of sexy guys. I naturally see sexy guys as competitors. But….why not BE the sexy guy?!
It is light and inoffensive. I put this on and it refreshes me as much as Versace Pour Homme. It is true it is not a fragrance that one would say, “WOW, that is unique!” but I find that is what is so great about it. I can use this to smell elegant in occasions that I don’t want to attract attention. Great for business meetings or just picking up groceries.
    An underrated fragrance.

    A Simpleton’s Review:
    Fresh Light Green Licorice Scent
Dark Green Salt Water Toffee Scent
    Not Fruity
    Not Citrusy
Clean scent, not “macho” or “bold” or too clean- synthetic.
    Calm, Confident, Slightly Sophisticated.
    Short penetrating range, short lived.
25$ in Walgreens and Rite Aid for a very small bottle–about a month’s worth.
    Classic woodsy scent

  35. :

    5 out of 5

As far as celebrity fragrances go this one is quite nice. Similar to TDH but where TDH has a more earthy vibe, this is just more of a clean vibe rounded off with a touch of spices and soft woods. This would work as an all weather scent/signature scent. It has warming qualities that can be nice in the fall/winter and also has the freshness to work in spring/summer and is not overly spicy. With that said I would predominately see this working best on mild fall days and cool spring days. I wouldn’t say this is a diamond in the rough cheapie fragrance that every collector should run out and buy. But it is pleasant and I would definitely recommend for someone who has a small budget looking for a versatile signature scent.

  36. :

    4 out of 5

This smells like Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver except spicier.
This doesn’t change over time or “mature” it’s the same throughout its wearing

  37. :

    3 out of 5

Yes, it does smell very similar to TDH and also Yardley Citrus and Cedar (another quality bargain well worth checking out!). Like many others, I don’t “do” celebrity scents, but this was in a bargain shop and I tried it by chance and bought 2 bottles-one for me and one as a gift. I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality and refinement found here, and will enjoy wearing this tonight.
I will share my findings on longevity as and when I complete my tests!! 🙂
Update: I’m shocked to find that this is still a skin scent after 9 hours. Not bad at all! Well worth considering if you like “TDH type” of scents.

  39. :

This is a very manly smell. Very modern and classy. If you have lasting power issues you might enjoy the deospray version. It also smells really good, lasts all day and has a good protection.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

Just finished a bottle and great scent but not very much sillage on my skin. They may want to consider an intense version with a bit more kick. I might get another bottle when my collection trims down from the 35 bottles I currently have.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

Versatile scent, usually found at a great price. Even with a cadre’ of designer scents also in my rotation, this one pulls compliments as well as any of them. I found lasting power is so-so in the 2 to 3 hour range, but projection is solid during that time.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

This is one of the better cheapo colognes out there. Very manly, and fairly bold in it’s smell. Very wearable any season, any occasion, casual or formal. Big compliment getter for me, with enough sprays. It wouldn’t take as many sprays if the sprayer wasn’t a piece of shit. But so what. If you are looking for one cologne to treat you right through all seasons and events, this one is a solid choice for $13-$22.

  43. :

Good smell, perfect for night wearing.
lasting is ok but silage is poor.
Not perfect for u if u r in hot climate country like me in India.
    Smell is very impressive.

Love at first sniff, I knew ok Coty house behind this let me get a 1 oz because it’s not going to last ill take it with me… woman really like it. Have to try the rest of his line

  45. :

    4 out of 5

I wish this fragrance lasted longer; it was practically gone in about four hours aside from the small amount that lingered on my shirt. This would make a great alternative to the typical workplace scents. It’s fresh without being terribly ordinary and spicy without being off-putting. The woody notes are nice to me. The projection is pretty close to the body. A nice scent overall.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

very nice scent. however it did not last at all on my skin, which is terrible because I realllllly liked this one.

  47. :

    4 out of 5

David Beckham man’s frags can usually be summed up in one sentence. Where Instinct was “Always presentable, Homme is “A bit more than just presentable”. As any other Beckham, there are some high quality ingredients, diluted to budget of course. A quality bottle and having a top nose signing off on it does not hurt either.
DVB Homme is a well blended leather woody pepper for me. This is the only pepper frag I regularly wear, so something must be right. At one stage I liked it so much I have stocked up.
Unlike others in the range, Homme layers well. It lasts about 6 hours on me with projection a little better than a skin scent.
To sum it up, this is top stuff, at any price, for situations when you do not want much sillage.

  48. :

    4 out of 5

opening is very like Tdh, but becomes a much more gingery soapier scent after half an hour. Expect to be disappointed if you think are buying a Tdh alternative because its not in terms for quality and longevity.
Tdh is more earthy/oily. while this is more soapy and light.
worth the price for a nice, confident colonge. when you want to freshen up.
    Occasion- casual
    longevity is low-moderate.
projections is moderate till 3 to 4hrs.

  49. :

    4 out of 5

Not sure how much of Beckham’s style is reflected in the perfume, but the juice is stylish. Also, before buying it, I had no chance sampling it, so, I relied on the reviews on the website. And as most of the time whenever someone exaggerates heavily it actually has the opposite result, (Kouros, Oscar de La Renta,) I end up disliking the perfume and criticising myself for forgetting that personal experiences are always subjective. But fortunately no one exaggerated on this cologne, and I find all the reviews accurate, except the ones that assault the name rather than the content. Had it been more expensive I would not attempt a blind buy, but the low price makes a blind buy less damaging in case it turns up bad, and much more rewarding if the product is the good, which makes one think that you have bought something that worth more than you paid, but also that you would have paid more if you knew before hand how good it is.
To the point. I am not sure how much resemblance is there between DB Homme and Terre, but if there is even the slightest, then I guess the former is underestimated and the latter overpriced, which in its turn is a compliment for DB and insult to Terre.
The only confusing aspect of this cologne is the opening, which is bit harsh, almost metallic scent, which may put most people off. It lasts however as much as the sentence describing the opening. When settles, I detect the ginger, pepper is neither distinct, nor forthcoming. But I might be wrong on that. At that point it smells like Noble Vetiver, but only for the next 10 mins. The drydown is amazing, (1 hour later) pretty similar to that of Davidoff Silver Shadow Altitude, and remains quite strong for the next 4 hours. After that it is still present but very subtle. Longevity, on me, 6-7 hours. Sillage, as most voted, is moderate. Quite content with this one.

I bought this cheap too. 7 dollars and fifty cents.. though the milliage is small. 30 ml. For my son to carry round in his backpack for freshening up on the go. I guess one gets what one pays for, but he said it’s okay. Citrusy. it’s very hard to choose these fragrances for some one else. But like anything else in one’s wardrobe. Variety is the key. Cheers T.

I love this kind of wood scent. It’s very fresh cut wood, green and spicy. Not a crazy “need to get to know” it fragrance, just clean and fresh.

  52. :

I used to give celeb frags a wide berth but not too long ago decided to take the plunge. Although this is a little on the synthetic side DBH along with other very similar frags such as Usher VIP are right where my scent tastes sit right now. Bravo, Mr Beckham.
    Update (6 Jan 2017):
I’ve just blind-bought Montana Graphite without hesitation (yes it smells of pencil shavings but the most amazing pencil shavings you’ve ever smelled). :o) I also came across Usher VIP and DVB Homme both of which I’ve had before and recalled that they were similar…….actually on smelling them again they are so similar that if you didn’t have them side by side you’d be forgiven for thinking they were the same scent.
If I were to try and separate them, DVB Homme is more warm and soapy but with a stout Szechuan pepper and woods flare and Usher VIP is less soapy/peppery and more green/herbal/aromatic. So DVB Homme for daytime and Usher VIP for evenings and weekends. ;o)
Really like both and both perform the same for me. Go crazy with the sprayer (couple round the neck, couple on each forearm, couple on each bicep and a couple on your shirt) and both of these should project just beyond arms length for up to 5 hours. After that you’ve still got a great skin scent that anyone very near you will be able to detect. Oh and you will get compliments with both…..lots of compliments. So yeah please don’t go out and buy either of these cause then there’ll be none left for me. ;o)

I was a bit harsh of this frag in my earlier review. After a month or so i decided to try it again. I Have changed my opinion on this. I get a spicey/floral/soapy kind of smell from this. I still wouldnt say its one of the best frags i have smelled, but for a casual frag, it would be ok i guess.

Reminds me of Creed Aventus. Of course not as perfected but at that price its surely worth it.

although completely different perfumes, the woody note in this reminds a lot the birch in Aventus…not the top notes, not the musky base notes that much but the middle, smells like this without the sweet pineapple/apple note.

If you’re wondering who voted Grey Vetiver by T.Ford as a similar smelling scent that would be me.
It is not an exact replica but Homme by D. Beckham is like G. Vetiver but with spice-like notes layered above it.
If you like Grey Vetiver then this might be to your liking with some black pepper thrown in along with a couple other notes.
You’ll be taken serious with this fragrance.

As other have noticed, this smells very much like Terre d’Hermes, Marc Jacobs Bang and similar fragrances. Even as a pale clone of the other fragrances it is worthwhile, if it can be found cheaply.

This scent is actually very nice and affordable. It’s super spicy and reminds me a little bit of Fahrenheit. The notes of pepper and cashmeran definitely come through. A worthy purchase for someone wanting a masculine peppery scent for fall with actual personality and character. I found a nice 1.7 bottle at Marshalls for 9.99. A steal in my book. I will wear this complex gem happily

I believe I was the first to say (over on BN) that it shares some similarities to Bulgari Man and Chopard’s Noble Vetiver, and I still maintain that it does – all three of these scents have a fair bit of overlap in their vetiver/wood/cashmeran accord, but yet each IS unique. Unique enough to warrant owning more than one of them? Possibly.
Bvlgari Man is probably the most complex of the lot, and features a wonderful honey note late in the dry down that I love. It has a bit more sweetness throughout than the others. Noble Vetiver is the only scent to feature cardamom. It is a smooth blend of cardamom, vetiver, mahogany, and clary sage. I’d say it’s the greenest of the bunch, although it has nuances of gray and brown in its spectrum as well. A simple, smooth and well executed scent.
Beckham Homme is the spiciest and woodiest of the bunch, and I’d agree that it shares some similarities with Terre d’Hermes too. The ginger and vetiver in BH have some parallels to the grapefruit and vetiver in TdH, although Beckham Homme is less earthy/rustic and more refined. The opening accord of citrus and ginger is wonderful – I just wish the citrus stayed prominent longer than the few minutes that it does. This transitions into a woody ginger accord that is smooth and even a hint soapy, although far from the soapiness of say, any of Prada’s men’s scents. This accord is masculine and full bodied and while slightly synthetic, it doesn’t come across as cheap, shrill, or obnoxious as so many other scents in this price range do.
The perfumer behind this is Pierre Negrin, who has also recently done Opus VI and Interlude Man for Amouage, and evaluating just those three scents alone will give you a taste for his style. All of the scents are full bodied and masculine, with a strong and smooth woodiness, subtle and well integrated sweetness, and momentary but excellent citrus openings. Smelling Beckham Homme next to either of the Amouage’s, you can smell the difference in budget, but it’s not as extreme as you’d think given the cost difference of the final products. To be quite frank, Beckham Homme holds up quite well in comparison to the two Amouage scents, and that is definitely more a credit to the wonderful perfumery of Pierre Negrin than it is any kind of knock on Amouage (I tend to LOVE Amouage in general, in fact my signature scent is from them – Memoir Man.)
Check out Beckham Homme. It’s worth a sniff.

Of all the Beckham scents this one seems the most mature and appeals to me the most. Very masculine, sharp spicy-woody scent along the lines of TDH. The opening smells a bit like Pinesol but I really like it actually,
and although it’s quite synthetic, still has character; a nice, elegant 80’s retro feeling. Versatile, subtle but nice projection and actually lasts a good while.

For me this perfume can only work for +40 old men. Even is fresh i don’t really like it, too sharp, kind of citric and spicy.

I never checked any David Beckham perfume just because I dont like David as a person or football player. Today, I decided to check them and honestly, i was impressed by this one. Very masculine well blended perfume with very good sillage and longevity. Immediately from the first spray you get light citrus, ginger, pepper and cashmere wood…The perfume gets better and better as time goes by and the masculinity increases. The citrus and ginger are not those that you smell almost in all summer colognes. They are going together, hand to hand up to the end. Finally and after a lot of hours, you are left with a nice musk with rosemary, a very pleasant time but the strong point of this perfume is the opening and especially the heart notes. Imagine that you have a saw and you cut some fresh wood on a table with some ginger by the side and the air brings in very lighlty the smell of rosemary…this is what this perfume is…and the ginger usually is going together with citrus but this perfume made me believed that the ginger blended with wood as a dominant ingredient, is a very nice masculine recipe. I suppose we are all tired with the ginger/lemon perfumes that are so commercial in our days…Many of them are so similar so let’s stop it…there are much better and new combinations to make instead of having all the time the same perfumes….The price is a true bargain for this perfume!

My first kick at a Beckham scent, I found this a smooth and pleasant EDT that’s well balanced and hard not to like.
It opens with a nice sparkle of ginger, grapefruit and light pepper. The cashmere and leather heart softens everything to balance the spice and musk.
All the elements play nice together: it’s not overly fresh, sporty or spicy. This would be a nice daily frag for the cooler months and has decent longevity too.
Some others have compared it with Terre d’Hermes and Bvlgari Man and while there are some common elements (flint / pepper notes of TdH and cashmere wood / white musk base of Man), it really stands on it’s own as a well-executed fragrance.
    Overall: 7-8/10

Its Earl Grey tea with (peper/ginger) +anise
its defently peppery! less ginger and Anise it have tiny accent of mint. I have compered directly beckham to Bvlgari Man and they are defently difrent fragrances -but also they have 1 note in common thats the only connection

I find this juice aquatic, citrus, spicy and soapy. Sillage and top is very strong but wonderful. I am simply amazed! Longevity is my fear, 3 hours after I sprayed it, scent is light already, fading. There are hints of Cartier Roadster on heart, light Hermes Jardin
