Description
Liquid Money is a new project by the former Microsoft vice president Patrick McCarthy, which includes the launch of a masculine and a feminine “cash fragrance” – Her Money and His Money. “The nose” Larry Murrison helped developing the fragrances.
According to McCarthy, the smell of money motivates and enhances self-confidence. He was inspired by a Japanese study that showed that workers are more productive when their environment is “inserted” with the smell of money.
His Money is a masculine and provocative fragrance that opens with woody aroma of just- printed dollars. Fusion of fresh ocean notes of citruses is joined by rosemary, glass and precious woods.
Both fragrances are packaged in boxes filled with shredded US dollar bills ($ 20) at the price of 35 of them.
It is available as 50 ml cologne.
His Money was launched in 2011.

Not illegal. Google up his shark tank video – he explains making it.

I love this idea. Too bad the fragrance isn’t the best. However,
I THOUGHT IT WAS ILLEGAL TO SHRED BILLS?
I think I will just stick with Bond, Wall-Street.

Are you serious? That was my thought when a friend of mine recieved this as a gift and somehow, someway, it ended up in my hands. This is such a silly novelty of a fragrance yet people bought into this. Its ok to show off the bottle it comes in but as a fragrance it falls short of impressive.
The first spray reminds me of something between a grassy field and an ocean with a slight hint of “money” whats so ever. You must really love the smell of your cash to really get excited over this. Its a soft scent not harsh (thank goodness) and it stays on you like a fresh splash of yard water. Not even worth comparing it to anything but it took a page from Acqua di Gio for mens cologne and killed it. It just has that mineral and marine mixture which is so familiar to many. After a few more tries I gaved up on it and passed on to some other poor fellow.
So for fun and jokes you can pick this up if you like but this joke will grow old very quick. Its just a novelty…nice try but I am not buying this weird brew anytime soon.

Actually, the note on the cologne’s website is “Grass”, not “Glass”. I don’t think glass has a scent. So, it should read:
“His Money is a masculine and provocative fragrance that opens with woody aroma of just- printed dollars. Fusion of fresh ocean notes of citruses is joined by rosemary, grass and precious woods.”
