I’ve never smelled this fragance in eau de toilette. However, I have the same fragance hand cream, and if you happen to love floral scents, definely you need to go and grab yourself a bottle.

I’m amazed at how closely this resembles Woods of Windsor Lily of the Valley, with the W of W being slightly paler and crisper, and Bronnley’s Hibiscus the fuller, more sensuous scent. They could be iterations of the same fragrance, presented by a perfumer to his corporate clients for their selection and approval. Incidentally, W of W LOTV doesn’t smell like lily of the valley all that much.
I knew, when I bought this blind, that the tropical hibiscus blooms I picked (and tasted!) when I was small had no scent, so I was curious to see how Bronnley’s chemists would interpret and construct a fragrance called “hibiscus.” I wondered whether the scent might be derived from “musk mallow” (ambrette), though I don’t know how that smells exactly. Unlike GR92627 (the first reviewer) I don’t smell Jasmine at all. I find an element in common with some fragrances containing a “peony” note, though.
Bottom line: it is nice, inexpensive, feminine, long-lasting, with a pretty box like all the Bronnley’s, and would make a good spring-summer scent or gift.

I’ve loved every one of the Bronnleys fragrances that I’ve tried so far and this is no exception. Bronnley doesn’t seem to make complex sophisticated fragrances full of esoteric and mysterious notes, it makes simple, delicate, natural scents that stay close to nature. This is a natural floral, not too sweet, no synthetic notes, almost a soliflore really. I dislike jasmine, and unlike a previous reviewer I don’t smell any in this, except I’m not quite sure what hibiscus actually smells like! If its anything like this, then its lovely. There is a soft rose in the dry down after about 20 minutes. The longevity isn’t great, but its a perfect summery spritz-this is for all over, hair and skin. Its light, refreshing and very pretty.

Very nice, really fresh scent. I must have smelled hibiscus flower a long time ago and do not recall the actual flower smell well enough to make a comparison but that said, what I do get is I think mostly hibiscus from this fragrance. Its not a fragrance that one comes across often (as say rose) in perfumery, and I love its unusual quality. I like my bottle, the fragrance and the beautiful cardboard box it comes in. What I also really like is that with this frag, I really smell different and not like everyone else out there. Love Bronnley.
UPDATE- In the interest of honesty, I have to add that my nose is getting tired of this quickly. It is strong and linear and teeny sprays are recommended.
