A little too much rose for my taste. And unfortunatelly the drydown is only rose on my skin, which is quite noseburning. In my opinion, what “saves” this perfume is the nougat.

I had high hopes for this. Pretty and feminine presentation should have warned me! Stupid me was hoping for a sweet flower bouquet.
    Nup.
Just a mess of flowers, arranged higgledy-piggledy, with no direction except to confuse and annoy my nose.
Smells like a perfume and not a toilet cleaner. Just not a very pleasent perfume.
I still adore the bottle though, and will hang on to the 1 I have.

    beautiful rose
with a little sour maybe from the fruit
    nougat on the background
    but not too sweet
    just perfectly blended
and I can;t smell peony here
    such a wonderful thing
    cuz I hate peony indeed
    rose is quite dominant here
    longivity is bad
less than 2 hours on me
but I thought it the longivity got enhanced
the fragrance would be overwhelming and too damn sweet
    in addition
bottle looks great and expensive from the picture
but reallt tacky and looks like toys in real

Just yesterday I was in the mood to wear Love for Love by Gloria Vanderbilt, a scent that I owned a few years ago, but that has been discontinued. I own 28 perfumes at the moment, but not one comes even close to Love for Love. So I looked up the ingredients, to see what it was that I was missing: Rose, Jasmine, Violet, Vanilla and Woodsy notes. This week Happy Spirit Bouquet d’Amour is on sale for € 15,- for 50 ml at a local drugstore. I owned the original Happy Spirit, so I tested it. And immediately I thought, what a coincidence, this smells like Love for Love!!! They both only have rose and vanilla in common, but apparantly those two ingredients kind of define these scents to me. It seems as if I found a suitable replacement for Love for Love!
Love for Love is described as a Floral Fruity, while this scent is described as a Floral Fruity Gourmand, but as far as I know La Vie Est Belle is the only gourmand that I love, there are more Floral Fruity scents that I love like Sorrentina by ID Parfums, Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture and Feerie by Van Cleef & Arpels for example. So apparantly it is the Floral Fruity part in Happy Spirit Bouquet d’Amour that appeals to me.

What happened to my nose? I see so many positive reviews but I can smell only highly artificial and synthetic flowery notes in happy spirit bouquet d’amour. Cannot wear this thing. But normally I should adore it because many reviewers of this fragrance have the same or similar olphactory preferences in perfume as me. The bottle is very appealing as well. I bought it blindly and I assure you it’s absolutely not a save purchase so try before buying. Skin chemistry and our brain perception of scents has an amasing behaviour sometimes. As for me I go back to French brands with more natural smelling. I cannot wear chopard fragrancies as my nose does not agree with them.

Now this is a unique, sweet, pretty pink rose scent. If Lacoste Sensuelle and YSL Baby Doll had a love child, this would be it. This is rosy, sugary and citrusy with a strong current of what I assume is the loukoum flowing through. There’s definitely something confectionery in the mix here. The notes on the Chopard site are different than what’s listed above, but I’m assuming it’s because loukoum isn’t a searchable note in the database yet.
    OP NOTE:yuzu and loukoum
    HEART NOTE:rasberry and floral bouquet
    BASE NOTE:cashmeran and musk
Although the Chopard notes read floral bouquet, they are definitely rose and peony, no doubt. There’s also a nougat-type feel, whether it’s a note or not, similar to that of the bitter nougat in Lacoste Sensuelle. Loukoum again? The scent as a whole has a YSL Baby Doll feminine vibe, but Happy Spirit Bouquet is definitely more rose-dominant and the citruy yuzu isn’t near as strong as grapefruit. If you felt like something was missing from YSL Baby Doll, or that it was too girly, this is a great, slightly more mature wear. I love both but Chopard is top shelf for me.
Longevity on my skin is short, maybe 3-4 hours, but on clothes it lasts for days! I’m not kidding. I specifically put the first shirt I tested it on to the side and came back to it three days later, and the scent was still lingering softly. Projection on clothes is about an elbow/forearm length away, but it leaves a lovely trail. I’ve been wearing it during the day for four days straight.
Also, the gel lotion is great and a little goes a long way.

Another great perfume from Chopard! I am so impressed with Wish and Happy Spirit, but this one tops both, in my opinion!
I ordered this a couple weeks ago, and it was slow to arrive. It arrived in the mail today, and I immediately opened it up. I was floored.
It was a hot day today, ninety, and it’s initial smell was a very sweet, piney (like juniper or cypress) citrus with an intense blast of rose water and creamy sugar. The heart is a realistic rose, but I also detected another floral note to it that reminded me of Estee Lauder’s Pleasures or Ralph Lauren’s Romance.
It is really on the light side for Chopard, in my experience their perfumes tend to be heavy. Though heavy in it’s way, this one is a combination between intense/long-lasting and refreshing/clean/sparkly. Such a great way for a perfume to be during summer months and not something that is easy to find or do well!
After an hour or so, the super tangy floral calms down, and it becomes a powdery, sweet, floral smell. The floral heart that I described is still there, but it is now softer and creamy. Though I don’t smell vanilla at all, the nougat note is accurate. It wears for hours as a musky, powdery, floral nougat on the dry down.
Thank you, Chopard! Your perfume has made my day!

I recently bought it blind and I have to say that I am awfully disappointed. But I also believe that I might have got a bad bottle.I love the scent itself, it’s rosey and mildly sweet, whilst it manages to retain some tanginess that keeps it from being sickly. Unfortunately, the sillage is very very soft and the lasting power around 2hrs, slightly longer on my hair. I was expecting something more longlasting, judging by the votes. Has anybody else experienced this? Bought new from a batch produced in November 2013

Sweet and rosey and fruity and tart and very charming. It is like clouds of pink chiffon, it starts out sweet tart and quite fresh and warms and sweetens into a soft rosy nougaty sugary dreaminess. It’s very pretty, and I have to say quite an unusual scent, though I can’t quite put my finger on how.
It’s very fresh and playful. I would say it is a “giggly” cheerful perfume, nothing too heavy, nothing too sexy, it’s more kisses on the tip of the nose than heavy petting.

Very sweet rose perfume with a romantic bottle. I was firstly wanted to buy the “happy spirit” but ended bying the “bouquet d’amour” without a regret. Though it is a gourmandish perfume the rose and peony notes keep it rather fresh and playful. A perfume for spring/winter which is very longlasting and with a great sillage, if oversprayed could fill a room. Overall happy to add this in my collection. It gives me quite a smile!!!

Sweet-rosy scent, feels like soft like a whisper but stays on clothes for more than 24 hours. Very feminine and cute, but not girly. This is different than Happy Spirit and Happy Spirit Magical Nights, as those are more raspberry dominant scents but in this one rose takes the center stage.

Oh yummy! I get rose, raspberry, musk and I am ESPECIALLY delighted that the NOUGAT is coming through so beautifully on me as well. I only sense yuzu for the first few minutes, but there is nothing citrusy about this scent, infact the yuzu + raspberry combo smell more like litchi to me in the beginning. This is a fresh, sweet, milky, musky, berried-rose…perfect for spring and summer! It does indeed remind me of Turkish Delight, particularly within the first couple of hours. It’s not unique, but it’s lovely and easy to wear,. If you love White Musk Libertine like I do, you will likely enjoy this too. It’s pricier but also lasts longer and is more layered, perhaps quite abit sweeter (not that I would part with my beloved White Musk Libertine for this). I will get a bottle once the price drops (or I will hunt for a tester/reject soon), I find the price is currently too steep for what it is. It’s been a little over 3 hours since I first sprayed it on, and it’s still going strong. I am now sensing the peony note coming through giving the scent a more ‘clean’ vibe, making it less gourmand, and more like the average ‘clean pink scent’, but still with some of the rosy-nougat-sweetness in place. Sillage is good too. Will update again later.
update: 5 and a half hours later, the scent is there still, only fading slightly…okay, now I get why one of the reviewers below mentioned ‘fabric softener’, it does become a mixture of clean fabric softener + some sweet notes by now…not exactly unpleasant, but kind of boring, abit cheap smelling too maybe. I blame the musk+peony combo for this. The first few hours were just beautiful though. Like I said, I’m still willing to get this (at a much reduced price, and a smaller bottle).

The smell is like all unique Chopard’s perfumes. It is not for everybody It smells strange, but appealing and sophisticated.
I can not identify what it is palpable. It is not like any of the perfumes that I know. This perfume is quite sweet and floral, but lack the juiciness. It is an elegant, mature smell, although the bottle looks rather girly.
The smell is quite lasting, especially on clothes and hair.
I like it a lot, but I prefer Happy Spirit and Happy Spirit Magical Night.

I tried it out of curiosity and find it awful, on my skin at least. A noseburningly sweet mixture of caramel and mouldy lime peel, decorated with nondescript fabric softener flowers. Horror in a pretty bottle.
I know someone must have thought this to be nice enough for people to buy, and obviously they’re right, but I advise strongly against blind buys with this fragrance!

Charming, cute little treasure. Not in that “teenie girlie ” screechy celebrity concotion way “cute”,but really really joyful, playful kind.Nothing complicated,no lofty message, nothing overcharged with weird ingredients – just little pleasure in the bottle…
Sparkling rose honey sirup drizzled over the Turkish Delight treat, sweet but with distinctly oriental twist.
I notice in the base nice and generous spoonful of icing sugar -and yes-this is very sweet frag , but really really fun , makes my smile at this grey , rainy day…
This is how i perceive this juice, but the skin chemistry is always a personal matter , so try before buying!!!
For me – definitely the winner!

Just tried it & it smells so sweet & that’s it, too bad as the bottle is gorgeous 🙁
    update:
The scent was dripping sweetness, it was so sweet like I was sniffing a bowl of fruits & sugar. Reminds me so much of escada’s style without the gourmand touch.
