Wow what a beautiful scent, I smell a nice soft oud, violets and amber. It’s so beautiful, a strong love.
Typepreept – :
To me this is Interlude Man + Al-Rehab’s Tajal Aroosah: wonderful incense from Interlude and hideous screaming blackcurrants from Tajal Aroosah, neither of which appear in the fragrance pyramid. (To be fair, there are allegedly no currants in TA either, but it was the scent that immdediately sprang to mind).
I cannot pick out the rose or violets, sadly, but it may be those that are combining to create the acidic tone; I really can’t tell so will praise Nabeel for its blending skills. Longevity’s excellent at 10+ hours and takes some serious scrubbing to remove. Projection is moderate throughout.
If my chemistry didn’t create the Tajal Aroosah connection, I’d be ecstatic that I’d found an Interlude Man dupe at a hefty saving.
Clearly Haifa’s a hit with previous reviewers. It does have a lot going for it: great silage and longevity plus no barnyard hints (if that’s a concern). Perhaps summer isn’t Haifa’s ideal time so I’ll try it again in cooler months to give it a fair trial.

Update
This is a great dupe for Nasomato Black Afgano. I have the original and they are almost identical. Well done Nabeel!!!!!! Lasts for days on cloth and leaves a beautiful and utterly intoxicating trail of tobacco Oud with a light sweetness and unimaginable depths! Nabeel, bravo!!

I have several gems from the Nabeel brand (sorry people, lost count how many…) and none so far has disappointed. I am usually not one to be laconic in my descriptions but even metaphor cannot describe the beauty of this. When i wear it i feel like I am wrapped in a fine cashmere blanket in winter (still cold in UK) sitting comfortably in my favourite cafe with a hot cup of coffee, a vase of red roses in front of me and my favourite book, and of course, Fragrantica on tap on my smartphone.
As I applied it i got first a Smoky, deep, Oud, animalic enough to stir interest yet creamy and deep ( i detect a touch of olibanum too). Rose and violet keep things smooth and aromatic and balance the notes to perfection. Overtime it mellows and the floral dimension becomes more prominent but this is very much a woody juice. Very long lasting with moderate projection, like most oils. Very wearable, will not offend but most certainly will charm! Totally unisex. Totally recommend it for those who love Orientals.

This perfume oil is absolutely gorgeous. Its smell describes the notes exactly as it says.If you like 1001 Nights by Ajmal than Haifa brings a lot about it.
