Italian fashion house Gucci announces its new fragrance Gucci Bloom, launching globally in August 2017; the first one under the hand of the new creative director Alessandro Michele.

White flowers such as natural sambac jasmine and heady tuberose are mixed with woody accents of orris root and the new accord of Chinese honeysuckle or Rangoon creeper (Combretum indicum), a vine with red flowers native to India and exclusive to this fragrance.

The fragrance will be available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas.

This smells horribly synthetic on me, but it has good sillage and it lasted some 8h. It is also fundamentally different to Bloom Aqua di Fiori, which I love.

I really, really wanted to love this. And I tried to, I promise I really did. But on my skin this did not work at all. Even with just one spritz, it was a headache inducing sharp green tuberose-jasmine combo that left me nauseous until I showered and scrubbed it off. Ugh, I really thought I’d love this from the sound of it. I’ll just have to try the flankers and hopefully I’ll have better luck next time.

One of the most beautiful unique floral scents! A very well made perfume without any harsh notes. It’s very well balanced too! I think for a floral scent, it lasts very long (usually I find floral and citrus notes don’t last long). A bit expensive but worth it if you have the money (of course lol) and if you love floral notes 🙂

I smelled this for the first time yesterday, and I hated it. I look at the notes on this perfume and I can’t belive that i don’t like it. I need to test it again…

I have been having a love/ hate thing with this scent for a while now. I test it I love it I test it again I think it smells like a boring floral I test it again it screams at me and I have to scrub it off. I ordered it from a department store but returned it and I got hold on a 5ml mini instead for more testing.
Aside from the usual reasons for variation (hormones, weather etc) I think a lot of it is down to quantity. I only put a little dab on each wrist this morning and today I liked it a lot.I love the first minute or so even on the hate days but it wears off too quickly. Today I would just get a little wafts and hints of that lovely full bloom white floral opening and it didn’t go all sharp and headachy. When I smelt my wrists there was a creaminess and something nostalgic (It may be Norman Hartnell In Love which I have seen compared and my mum used to have but I haven’t smelt that for 40 years). It was still just about blooming 10 hours later but much faded so I topped up before leaving work. I had to stop the car for a scrub with hand-wipes I couldn’t even get home. My take home message is go easy with this one and leave the bottle at home. I will certainly try again but probably not tomorrow.

This is straight linear Jasmine on me. I don’t care for it. Reminds me of something from my childhood… maybe Anais Anais?

I smell nothing but jasmine. A headache inducing, grandma worthy perfume to me.

This perfume reminded me of a floral scented febreze. The smell is fresh and comforting. The longevity is super poor for me.

I have a few samples of this and everytime I spray it, I find the opening a little too sharp. But after about 10 minutes it settles into a lovely warm but at the same time also a little fresh scent which I can smell for many hours. It gives me an energizing and summery vibe. I´m really geting into tuberose scents lately and can´t really detect it here yet, (untrained nose). Orange and jasmine are the notes that stand out the most to me. I look like a crazy wristsniffer when I wear this.

Am I the only one who thinks this smells exactly like B&BW’s old fragrance Butterfly Flower? This smells like springtime in a bottle. Reminds me of being a kid biting off the ends of honeysuckles. Received this as a sample, but I would definitely buy a full sized bottle.

Earlier this year, I realized that my collection of perfumes was running low, as nearly all of the bottles were empty or going bad. But when I went to Bath and Body Works to restock, I discovered that they don’t really sell EDP or EDT perfumes the way they used to when I had last shopped there. So I bit the bullet and decided it was time to upgrade to department store perfumes. I had assumed I would want a light and fruity scent, like I’d purchased in the past. But to my surprise, of all the perfumes I sampled, I was most drawn to Gucci Bloom. It was very heady, very perfumery, and richer than anything I had loved in the past. It seemed to be a clue that I am aging out of that sweet girlish phase I had held on to for so long. Therefore, I bypassed the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau so Fresh that was recommended to me (based on my stated tastes) and decided Gucci Bloom was the one I would get during the mother’s day sales. My sister actually ended up purchasing this for me, because I lost my job before Mother’s Day rolled around (*sigh*). I have to say, this is one of my signature scents and it performs very well on me. It is heady and intense, floral and woody, sweet and dense. I have come to realize (based on other people’s reactions) that this is not a popular mix. Whenever I wear this, I don’t get nearly as many hugs and smiles. So I can tell that people like it better when I wear other scents I have since purchased (after getting another job, yay!): these include Black Opium Nuit Blanche, an Aquolina Pink Sugar dupe, a dupe of Giorgio Armani Si, and Sun Di Gioia by Emporio Armani.
So the conclusion is this: if you like sweet-patchoulis, fruitchoulis, or gourmands and hate heady florals, this isn’t the perfume for you. But if you want something that is different from the crowd and still has a bit of sweetness — and you’re not intimidated by a perfume that can take up a room and possibly offend people with sensitive noses — you should consider this one.
In regards to lasting power, if you do just one layer when spraying, it will last no more than four hours, but will also be milder and sweeter, which I sometimes like. If you want to get double the lasting time, you can use the double spray method but this is when it becomes a heady and –perhaps — overwhelming scent.

At first I didn’t like this scent because it was like walking into a florist’s, which was a bit more green than my tastes. However after sniffing it a few times in store, it really grew on me. A really gorgeous light green and sweet jasmine scent. It’s fresh and enticing. I ended up picking the full size for a markdown at the airport.
I’ve smelled the two other flankers in the line and personally dislike them. That green one has a really sharp lime that dries down into a musky generic perfume scent, while the most recent one has some kind of ginger that is otherwise really similar to Gucci Bloom. So goes without saying, if you have one from this line, you really do NOT need the other two.

    Nice but boring smell.
    Yasminy and flowery

  14. :

This is my new signature scent and my god, is this one of those once in a decade perfumes.
I guess that the thing that ultimately hooks me to a perfume is an interesting combination of notes – I like a little bit of surprise and contradiction in a perfume.
Let’s talk about that jasmine first. In my experience, jasmine smells beautiful only in the form of an actual flower. In perfumes, it is usually overwhelming, cloying, headache inducing. Gucci Bloom is the first perfume where I felt the scent of an actual jasmine flower, and it’s absolutely heavenly.
Gucci Bloom smells like a bouquet of white flowers through and through – but it has a persistent, omnipresent creamy undertone that never allows it to be too flowery or too sweet.
Gucci Bloom is so unique, so sophisticated, so feminine. At the same time, it is a bit audacious, strong, and definitely not in for pleasing everyone. I could totally understand why someone wouldn’t like it. But for me, it’s one of the best perfumes I’ve smelled.

  15. :

cold scent…no warmth or comfort. Summer season scent, perhaps!

  16. :

    5 out of 5

This is in my top three perfumes, hands-down. It is soft, yet somewhat daring, clean, yeat kind of animalic – how could that be? It is fully floral and feminine and far from being generic. It is a late, breezy august night, strolling through the park with your loved one.
On my skin, Gucci Bloom stays fairly linear and I don’t mind that at all, because that means that I am constantly surrounded by the lovely smell of tuberose and jasmine. And I don’t know what it is about my skin chemistry, but it manages to bring out notes of hyacinth and lilac that Gucci Bloom doesn’t even have. For some reason, I can’t feel any vanilla whatsoever – and that’s good, because vanilla might’ve taken this fragrance on a rather generic route for me.
The longevity and sillage are where this perfume fails me. It doesn’t last longer than four hours on my skin – and that is such a shame, since it is one of my favourite perfumes. The sillage is weak to moderate and tends to fade dramatically as the hours go by. Despite all these, one friend was desperate to know what perfume I was wearing the first time I sprayed this on me.
Oh, and I love the powdery-pink bottle. It has a vintage feel to it. Its minimalistic design manages to help this perfume stand out in any perfume shop.

  17. :

Creamy, fresh, romantic (white) floral. Not for the faint hearted, on me sits like a soft fabric, discreet and yet distinguishable presence.
This is class at its best, for Bloom is unlike any of the fragrances so trendy out there.
I’m lucky enough to enjoy a very long sillage: wore it in the morning, it still greets me the day after. More than 24 hours; I should say it’s my second skin.
I also find the bottle a refreshing change from the overly elaboeated, clear ones.
To me its a 10/10, love at first sniff and forevermore.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

Contrarily to other reviewers, I do not find the staying power and silage bad at all. The scent reminds me of Aqua di Gio. I cannot smell tuberose or honeysuckle at all. And if it smells of jasmine, it is no Spanish or common jasmine, but rather pink jasmine, which I frankly dislike. Find the fragrance very boring and wonder how could they make such a boring and to me unpleasant fragrance from such wonderful notes. Should leave each of the notes on its own, and the achievement would be infinitely better, in my opinion. Modern Gucci fragrances are not my taste at all. I just prefer to ignore them. I did love the old ones, though.

Tried it at Inchoen Duty Free in Korea, it reminded me about Do Son by Diptyque. Gucci Bloom is modern and bright than Diptyque but the longevity was zero on my skin. It’s pricey too for this perfume, nearly 120usd for 3.4oz after tax. Luckily, I had Diptyque, no need to purchase this bottle

I took this off my test list because I saw this had tuberose and I HATE(ed) that note. Well, recently I retested the Michael Kors perfume and adored it when before i disliked it because of the tuberose.
So today, I was at Ulta and saw the pretty Gucci Bloom bottle and decided to test it on my skin because of my recent change in heart for MK’s perfume.
Gucci Bloom SMELLS SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! Maybe it’s because I’m pregnant so things are smelling different but gosh this is on my want list now.
It’s a very feminine, obviously floral fragrance. I can’t stop sniffing my arm!!!

First Impression (smelled the bottle cap): Overpowering Jasmine
    First Spray: Subtle Jasmine
I blind bought this one and Being new to really smelling into things and being appreciative of smells and perfumes, I’ll say that this one isn’t for me. It smells good on the skin but I can’t, for the life of me, stop thinking of grandmas. Not my cup of tea. But for those who LOVE jasmine, go buy this.

  22. :

In the aroma is a strong sound of the sweetness of jasmine, which resembles a sweet. The rest of the sounds seemed to me less pronounced, but the overall composition from this only wins. Not sugary, light and very feminine, it reminds a fairy tale.) For romantic dreamy individuals.

When I first applied this, I loved it. I was sure I was going to buy it. It smelled amazing for about an hour. And then it turned into a peppery, earthy scent. So disappointing. I’ve been searching high & low for a nice white floral. My search continues…

    Gucci Bloom(s) so boring!
    Tom Ford era was amazing.

A very beautiful fragrance with a lot of creamy tuberose, which is nicely balanced by the jasmine, vanilla and green notes. Sandalwood and orris add some depth to the scent. I also get tiny amounts of coconut, and even some salt maybe? This smells beautiful!
Despite the huge amount of white florals, Bloom does not smell overwhelming, like other white floral fragrances can do. This keeps smelling soft and fresh, I think because of the addition of soft sandalwood and vanilla and the fresh green notes. I find this suitable for both colder and warmer temperatures.
Sillage is moderate, longevity is about 5 hours.
    EDIT: bought it! <3

For me the Smells remind me of jasmine tea, like twinnings tea 😀 in a good way (the simple explanation if you cant imagine the smell). It’s because my bvlgari rose essentials discontinued, then i looked for a new parfume that can replace my all time fave. For me both of gucci and bvlgari have the most lovely comfortable smells (so… smooth) at the first spray! It’s totally have a great scents like warm, clean and professional smells at the same time

Straightforward white floral. Tuberose is dominant. Then jasmine and honeysuckle. It’s not indolic or animalic. It is calm (for a tuberose scent) and feminine. I hate white florals, but I can see why a lot of people love this. It’s a ‘safe’ tuberose.
You could wear this year-round. I feel like it plays well in any temperature. In winter the white florals will cut through the cold, in summer the white florals will radiate, and of course it will be perfect in autumn and spring. You really can’t go wrong with this – you can wear it casually or formally, and it is office-safe because it is not as loud as typical tuberose fragrances.

I worked at a lab for a number of years and the gardenia/ tuberose impression in this fragrance smells identical to some esters we used there (Methyl Anthranilate, among others). This is a perfectly pleasant scent and there is nothing wrong with it. It’s just that, to me, it resembles some of the chemical fumes I’ve encountered (and avoided) in the past. Any chemists here? I’d be curious to hear your thoughts. For chemistry students, pay attention to the “Synthesis of Esters” lab and sniff this juice afterwards. You’ll see exactly what I mean.
The Aqua di Fiori flanker, on the other hand, is completely different. I find it divine and wear it often.

  31. :

    3 out of 5

Gucci Bloom is a pleasant floral that manages to not dry down into powder, which is really all I can ask for in a floral. However, it didn’t seem to stay on my skin very long (but that might just be me – most pure florals don’t seem to get along with my skin). Otherwise, if you like floral perfumes, give this a try! When I had my sample I, personally, liked to layer this with Prada Candy for some complexity.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

Gucci Bloom languished on my want list for quite sometime, before I finally relented and snatched her up. A simple white floral, she starts off strong, but quickly morphs into a quiet office friendly scent. GB only lasts about 3 hours before disappearing, leaving only a trace of sandalwood. She reminds me of Elizabeth Arden’s White Shoulders, but more natural. A beauty worthy of reapplication.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

The bottle is gorgeous but the scent didn’t blew me away. It’s just generic clean white floral all through out. I’m a tuberose lover and I’m not terribly picky but this is just meh. So sorry. I don’t mean to offend anybody who like this perfume. I haven’t found any Gucci that I like yet so it’s probably just Gucci and my chemistry don’t go well with each other. Weak projection, undetectable sillage and poor longevity.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I get more Jasmine than Tuberose.

  34. :

Pleasant scent, but reminds me too much of a Zara Homa Shop (combined home fragrances). Tuberose!

Oh, I strayed from Chanel. But absolutely had to try this after sniffing the page in a magazine. I bought a FB, and love it. It’s not my everyday fragrance, but once in a while, when I feel the mood, I reach for it. I really don’t purchase fragrance much anymore, and when I do, it is something that I really have to like. I just have too many and decided not to keep my favorites or most expensive for a special occasion. CC No 1 is still the only one kept for a special day, because it stays true all day, never morphing, as good as first spray until the next day. Gucci bloom is an everyday safe one, and not a fortune. Give it a whirl anyways, it might work with your star alignment and soul.

  36. :

sweet bit beautiful floral that smells like gardenia; the main player is the honeysuckle supported by tuberose with a touch of sandalwood

Similar to Michael Kors and Jasmin Rogue. Just a high quality banana-y jasmine. If you already have Do Son or Jasmin Rogue this really brings nothing new or different to the table. But this is a nice departure from Gucci’s other low end piece of crap fragrances. I give it a B-.

Linear sparkling blast bomb. OK got that out of the way. I’ve always disliked tuberose e.g. Lou Lou. Thinking now that that might have been more because of what it’s combined with than it itself. I can see how people might feel some fruit might combine with the creaminess. Or some sweetness. Yuk. Patchouli… Just why? I really like the dry tea and salty woody notes here. A creamy white flowers scent for me to love. Grateful.

Some soft, powdery fragrances can come off as too mature (think grandma’s handbag). But, Gucci Bloom is not one of those fragrances. It’s young, fresh, heady, white floral, slightly sweet, and happy. I love happy scents. I really adore white florals and the honeysuckle in this adds that happy, sweetness. Honeysuckle along with the green notes adds the freshness of this fragrance. I’m really not a fan of Orris Root because too much of it can cause me to have a reaction. But, it is light enough in this fragrance to add just a touch of powder. The sandalwood adds a nice woody undertone along with the vanilla which is almost undetectable because it is very well balanced. Some people feel that this fragrance is unfinished. If it had another note such as a more pronounced citrus note it would be just as beautiful. But, I disagree that it’s unfinished. I think it’s beautiful just as it is. If you love white florals (tuberose in particular), fresh, lightly sweet, lightly powdery fragrances it’s a safe blind buy. I think this is a very wearable fragrance. I think you could wear it day or night.

At first spray it feels like it’s going to be TOO STRONG….and it’s actually not.
It’s good, and probably a good safe blind buy if you love white floral , but do not pay full price / mall price.
Pay a “discount store” price and you’ll be all the better.
EDIT (after 3 balloons): This really retreats into a skin scent after an hour. This is typical of perfumes of today and I’m really loosing my hope of the future of modern perfumery . Sniff sniff….
    Sadly, this is “office safe”.

Sharp and white flower’ish. Pleasant and ligth, but maybe too strong…It reminds me of something familiar, either the notes I smell or of another perfume I cant remember right now. I would say that it this perfum smells too common.

I picked up a sample of this from Dillard’s a few months ago because I loved the way it smelled from the bottle so much! I’ve previously thought I was someone who liked sweet and fruity scents, but I’m coming to realize that I actually enjoy sweet florals more than sweet fruits. Gucci Bloom is perfect for that preference, as it contains floral notes that run more sweet than earthy, such as tuberose, honeysuckle, and jasmine. Still, it has other notes present that sort of check the sweetness, keeps it from being candy-like: particularly, the sandalwood, orris root, and green notes. I’ve read some reviewers state that they have issues with longevity, but that is not the case for me! This scent lasts so long! I can spray it in the morning and still smell it twelve hours later. Granted, when I first spray it on my skin, it is quite sharp, almost loud. So I have to go through a few hours of feeling as if I’m almost wearing too much before it calms down to a soft and effervescent atmosphere that still has a reach of about half an arm’s length away. If you’re into heady white florals, you will enjoy this one. But if you want something subtle and close to the skin, then you may not like this one if it wears on you the way it wears on me.

  47. :

While there are other white florals that would fill this need (Modern Muse comes to mind), none are as captivating to me. Bloom is creamy but still fresh, floral but still warm and oh, so sexy blooming in the Summer. White florals are often too fresh, too cold, or too soapy for my taste. They run the risk of smelling like “old lady” perfume. There’s an elegance in Bloom that makes it unique and modern, but still hyper-feminine.
I first tried this in Winter, but I didn’t fall in love with it until the warmer days of Spring. It’s long-lasting on me (in the heat!) with noticeable sillage. Strong enough that I prefer to apply by “cloud-walking”.

  48. :

I tried this one today, and it was love at first sniff! I absolutely love white flowers and own several perfumes of this kind, and even so I thought that this one was a “white flowers perfection” and definitively should go to my “must have” list. The first notes are absolutely divine: pure white flowers, no fruits, no musk, no sweet notes – just like diving into a flower bush. And that’s what makes this fragrance stand out, amongst the multitude of flower perfumes that are on the shelves currently. Unfortunately, mine was a short joy: just 1 hour after spraying, I could barely smell the fragrance on my skin, and so it went out of my wish list just as quickly as it entered. I strongly recommend to avoid impulse buying if you fall in love instantly for this one, because just like me you may be “gifted” with the total lack of chemistry between your skin and this fragrance. As I write, 2 hours after spraying, the scent is completely gone. About 1 hour ago, when I could still sniff the last signs of life of the scent, the drydown was very different from the first notes, and he reminded me a lot of Avon’s Pur Blanca Charm, which I own and like a lot. And this one, by the way, has a much better longevity on my skin than Gucci’s In Bloom.

Went to the art museum and in one of the halls was the biggest bouquet of flowers I had ever seen. The scent that surrounded that room was amazing. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It made me want to find a perfume that could remind me of that beautiful bouqet. It took a year of searching and I finally found it. Gucci Bloom is an elegant bouquet of flowers.

I am in love with this! I used to wear Fracas but found that it was far to strong to wear in the office but this is a lovely alternative! I love tuberose but find that it can be nauseating; this tuberose is beautifully blended with other flowers and in my opinion it is perfect!

  51. :

It’s heavily floral and a standout on the current market. A touch too sour though, I would prefer the flowers to have a brighter, warmer finish. It does evolve on the skin, which is great, and you can enjoy its floral spectrum many hours. The bottle is great as well 🙂

This smells like the dry down of the Kim Kardashian fragrance as well as the Micheal Kors one, and everyone knows how those two smell. In fact you could be wearing the Mk or KK one and if someone asked what it was you could say it was Gucci Bloom. They are all the same, just different intensities of the same white floral perfume.

  53. :

    3 out of 5

So elegant and gorgeous! It’s so light and feminine and makes you smell clean and elegant all day. On clothes this stays for about 24 hours, though it is true that on skin it fades much more quickly, but it does last about 5 hours on my skin.
At first i tried it as a paper sample I got with another purchase, and the first thing that hit me was how my grandmother had this elegant feminine smells when she was younger. So I was in doubt whether it was kind of a nostalgic like or if it really did smell like this. I tried the paper sample which worked for several days using it and I was in love with this perfume.
Due to the high price tag, I first bought Kim Kardashian as people write it is identical, but after using that for some days I could conclude it was absolutely not identical. It was missing the elegance and lightness.
So I went and bought Bloom, and I have no regrets, it is so lovely!

While Diptyque Do Son is WAY too “bold” (in a negative way) with a huge blast of tuberose, MK has very cloying tuberose (similar to a “rotten” scent), Jo Malone London Tuberose & Angelica Cologne Intense has strong “artificial” tuberose, this one has just a right amount AND “type” of tuberose that is at the border between my tolerance and being overwhelmed.
Although Bloom is a nice new fragrance (Gucci is definitely stepping out of its own legend and merging with other houses in this modern world that has already been flooded with “tuberose” products), there is STILL something “missing”, that leaves me “unsatisfied”. In my opinion, Bloom does NOT stand out on its own to make its former generation proud. It is not unique, neither interesting. It is just NICE!
There is not much else for me to say about Bloom that I wish to say. It would be pretty much similar to my other reviews for Ralph Lauren Woman EDP, Prada La Femme EDP, Jennifer Aniston Chapter One EDP…Those are the modern fragrances that also have TUBEROSE, again, as their dominant note.
I definitely still enjoy and recommend this Gucci Bloom. However, since I luckily have had a “taste” from its former “relatives”, I do dearly miss the OLD Gucci (with its original EDP, EDT, the Oud, and the original Envy).

Gucci Bloom is a rather standard blend of white flowers, and nothing unusual or exotic. As I know and love the fragrance of Rangoon creeper blossoms, the official description of this scent was enticing. Unfortunately, I can’t detect even a hint of the strangely lovely ‘quisqualis indica,’ a combination of tropical flora, fruity resort drinks with a dash of sweat. (Sounds funny, but the cited-yet-absent note smells like a really great vacation). This fragrance is highly wearable, though, for day or night- especially in warm weather. Too bad the longevity is dreadful!

Nice white flowers.Reminiscent to Michael Kors.I find it too simple plain it’s missing something…the wow factor. Also …its not too strong a skin scent. It lasts enough though! I prefere Alexander Mcqueen the other white flowers fragrance. ..it’s very intriguing !!

The opening smells white floraly, jasmine sambac to be exact. It’s pretty realistic at first but it doesn’t exactly smell like the jasmine sambac buds I LOVE smelling here in the Philippines which is often sold in nylon string necklace form. This one is sweeter & more feminine. The jasmine here smell like a jasmine scented something (body lotiom perhaps) rather than the actual flower itself.
Then as soon as it’s drying down, the more it’s getting more like a typical women’s designer fragrance.
    6/10

This is Gardenia overdose, I wish it was lighter.. Too cloying for me.

I received this as a sample with another purchase and thought that it was nice – for a white floral, that is. Not the type of scent that I typically go for, but I will happily wear it until I run out of it. On my clothes it lasts longer (for days) and smells better – there is something green and tart to it then that isn’t noticeable on my skin, from which the scent fades quite quickly.

I adore Gucci Gucci Bloom, but it also fades quickly on my skin, needing frequent top ups, which isn’t great given the price of this juice.
To anyone else who find that Bloom needs a little help with longevity and silage, I hope my experience assists you. If it’s an increase in Tuberose you want, I layer the juice with Michael Kors or Kim Kardashian body lotions which have similar notes and aren’t dissimilar in scent overall (not identical though). I’m sure that any good quality body lotion or body wash which has the note you want to amplify in Bloom would do the trick.
    cheers

This starts out fresh and lovely on me. Green, flowery notes with a fresh spark of citrus. However, this freshness disappears within 10 minutes. After this it turns woodier, drier and kind of stuffy. It smells like tuberose and jasmine-flowers that have somehow gone off. Not a foul scent per se, but kind of nauseating.
I think it is a very depending on your chemistry though. On my mother it has developed differently and ended up a beautiful powdery tuberose-flower scent. So do try this on skin and see how it develops.

Big , lush expolosion of white flowers, gorgeous and addictive, I love this fragrance, its just literally beautiful , but for me it does not last, so try this on your skin and see what magic may happen, and if it doesnt last, thats what the roller ball is for!

I really like the first 15 minutes or so of it- a bold white floral, a sexy tuberose, jasmine and vanilla potion. Warm, creamy, floral, perfect for all seasons. But, unfortunately, the magic lasted for a very short period of time. Soon afterwards, Bloom becomes a skin scent, just as others have noted before. I can barely smell anything, both on skin and on clothes. It is similar to Grand Ball by Christian Dior, but GB is fruitier and longer lasting. Too bad, could’ve been a much better perfume.

If you happen to have a Zara Home next to you, this smells exactly the same to its gardenia line of soap, candles and body lotion.

Got a free sample of this with a bottle of a Lancome fragrance I bought a few days ago. Even though I quite like the one I bought, the instant I smelled this, I regretted not smelling it earlier and buying this one instead. I cleared more than 20 perfumes from my ‘want’ list and left only the ones I ‘m obsessed with, and this one is one of them. This might sound weird and super random, but the first thing that comes to mind when I smell this is banana peel + hairspray. But in a such wonderful and positive way, lol. It’s creamy, it’ s sophisticated, never too loud on your skin, but far away from being too ‘shy ‘ or dull. It’ s nice to smell a floral that’s creamy instead of sharp or sterile. Plus, I totally love Dakota, she represents this perfectly.

As a new member, I’d like to dedicate my first review to this perfume. My mum and I went through the Bay’s fragrance section with the purpose of finding myself a new perfume. Unexpectedly just as our perfume journey had barely begun, we were shown Gucci Bloom and fell in love. We love jasmine and tuberose so this was an instant hit and mum loves sandalwood so this perfume could do no wrong (for reference my mom used to always wear bvlgari pour femme and the jasmine flanker). I am 21 and personally like/love the fragrance for myself. It is a timeless predominantly non-indolic jasmine, and tuberose white floral scent. To me this smells like slightly sweetened jasmine tea as I perceive the linear green notes and orris root and sandalwood base as tea-like and the vanilla for slight rounded and gentle sweetness. I was about to go on a search for a jasmine tea scent until I remembered my mum recently picked this up. (Just so you know, I ended up getting miu miu’s l’eau bleue as I at the time was looking for something slightly unisex yet feminine – kind of a purchase regret… Too green and peppery with no sweetness to balance.) Unfortunately, GB has
