I was looking for a smell like this for a long time in searches of perfume which i once had as a present from my dad. The smell changes in 10-15 minutes from ‘hate it’ to ‘love it’. For me i guess hate part is in carrot note, but now i don’t notice it at all as it was in the shop:)
Don’t rely on what you feel first, wait 15 minutes and then smell!
It is woody and spicy and not to sweet, a little bit citrus too, wearing it eveyday, with it would have a little more longevity though.
P.s.I have one guess now based on memories of the box, that Amarige Extravaganza was the one i was looking for, but i have to check as almost no common notes per description.
