A different take on the usual creamy and lush gardenia that I love. The initial spray on my skin reminded me of GUCCI GORGEOUS GARDENIA immediately. It’s sweet, tender, light and modern just like GUCCI GG. The floral notes take on a candied characteristic making it a fun and youthful scent. This will be enjoyable for those who enjoy sweetened playful fragrances like Viva La Juicy. If you are looking for the velvety gardenia, this is not it. There is nothing animalic I can detect. Longevity is okay, easy to detect for the first 30 minutes then settles into a clean and sweet skin scent for the next few hours.

The Gardenia note is not a stand out . Instead all the floral notes blend together and it’s soft and pretty .
Then sweetness comes in from the Praline and this is when it is best and quite lovely .
But eventually a soapiness comes out and takes everything else away . In the end it isn’t a bad scent if you don’t mind smelling just soap 🙁
It is close to the skin but for me has surprising longevity .A nice non offending to anyone scent !

Firstly, nothing like original Goldleaf. Secondly, smells very similar to Kimono Rose.
I purchased the 12.5 ml travel dabber bottle. On the back of the box it says:
“Dewy blossoms of velvety gardenia, lush rose and fresh jasmine creating a graceful bouquet. A delicate layering of creamy amber, opulent patchouli and delectable praline lends a warm tender finish. It’s a classic favorite reinvented in a modern blend of charming elegance.”
The fragrance is a lightweight, sweet floral, weak in sillage, and mediocre in longevity. I sensed no patchouli.
The perfume should have been called Sweet and Soft Flowers. It kind of reminded me of Bath & Body Works types of scent, meaning nondescript sweet florals jumbled together, but with a better bottle and better packaging artwork. Nice but no cigar.
